I turn to look at Joe and Freddie. They both look just as horrified as me. This cannot be happening!
We run another red light and are almost hit by a trash truck. I scream as I close my eyes. Ryder starts to swerve in and out of traffic.
He beeps the horn at pedestrians trying to cross the street. A few of them run across the street swearing, while others dive out of the way.
Suddenly a silver car pulls up beside Ryder.
Oh, no! It can't be!
It's the woman from the storm! The blonde! She is looking right at me, smiling. Ryder turns his attention to her when she blows me a kiss.
The woman then swerves and hits us. The sound of crushing metal makes me cover my ears. It's an awful sound. I don't think I can't be any more terrified.
She hits us again. Freddie, Joe, and I scream when we hear the sound of metal crushing again.
Ryder swerves to the right, almost rear-ending a parked Jeep. We continue down another block and come to an intersection. My heart jumps into my throat. We don't have the light!
Ryder!" I yell.
Thankfully are were no cars waiting for the green light. I hold my breath as both the silver car and our car make it across the intersection without any casualties.
The woman then hits us a third time. I place my hands on the dashboard, bracing myself. Ryder's hands are shaking with the wheel. We are picking up more speed. He keeps looking down and slamming on the brakes. Nothing happens as we race down the hill even faster.
"Put your seatbelts on!" Ryder yells at the three of us. We all do as we're told. "You're all going to have to trust me! You're not going to like this, but the only way to stop is to flip the car over!"
What?!
"Oh, my God!" Joe yells.
How the hell is he planning on doing this? I am deadly afraid of rollercoasters, and he knows this! Flipping the car over is a double no in my book.
I grab onto the door handle. I look out of the window as the thought of jumping out of the car occurs to me.
"It's going to hurt like hell, but it's the only way!" Ryder continues. I begin to hyperventilate as tears start to spill down my cheeks. This isn't happening! Maybe I'm still in the hospital having a nightmare! Of course not! This is my life.
Why is she doing this?! Didn't I just survive a fiery explosion, and now I am expected to survive a car crash?!
"I don't see her!" Freddie yell, looking back. I turn and also look. She is two blocks behind us. We are going so fast that not even she can keep up.
"Ryder." I start to cry as I look over at him.
"I know, baby! I promise you; it'll be over as soon as it begins. Okay?"
I trust him and shake my head. This is the only way. Ryder puts his seatbelt on as I close my eyes. We barrel through another intersection as two cars collide next to us. Another swerves out of our way and hits a parked vehicle.
"Ryder!" I yell as I throw my hands to my face.
"All right, there are concrete medians up ahead! The first one has a groove where I can place the right tires onto it, and it will flip us on our side! I can't promise we will flip over only once! It'll be over as soon as it starts. Hold on tight, everyone!"
I see the gray medians fast approaching. I put my hands on the ceiling and turn around. Joe and Freddie mimick me. We all braced as Ryder steer onto the median.
I scream as my side of the car goes into the air. The tires ride on top of the median like Ryder said they would. It happens so quickly. Ryder keeps his left hand on the steering wheel and put his right hand on my chest, pinning me against the chair firmly. "Hold on!" He yells as the car suddenly flips.
As the car flips, the sound of us screaming is all I hear. As the car flips again, all I see is glass shattering all around me. The sound of crushing metal is deafening as the roof of the vehicle is suddenly closer to me.
After the third or fourth roll, the only thing I remember is skidding to a halt and slowly blacking out as a truck comes towards us from the other direction.
I try to scream.
