Schools are outdated, but I'm not here to talk about the methods schools use to teach, but about the quantity of knowledge they give out. Of course quality has changed as well, but that's not something I can talk about, no one can, so I'll only talk about the quantity.
I mean, have you ever asked your parents or grandparents about their school life, and by school life I mean the things they were taught.
I have, and I came to the discovery that things my parents learned in highschool or some stuff even from university, was taught to me during my middle school years and before middle school.
When I compared what my parents learned, I found theirs to be way too easy, like WAY too easy, almost to the level that those things should correctly answered in your sleep. The cap was even bigger between me and my grandparents. But these things only apply to science, maths and etc, and not history, languages and etc.
This just may be me, or the country I live in. I wanna know if it's like this for you too.
What will the kids in the future have to learn? Will they be learning things like quantum mechanics or the theory of relativity during primary school in a not so distant future? The amount of stuff one needs to learn to be accepted as an 'adult' is insane, and in the future it'll only get worse?/better?.
