Chapter 49 - Alex's Tantrum.

Before she knew it, she was back in the circle of demigods, they were all looking at her with either expectant or worried looks.

"Trinity! Are you ok? You passed out!" Sarah said, her voice full of anxiety, her big green eyes were big and rounded, full of concern.

"Yea… I am ok." Trinity said with a sigh. "I was somewhere… I am not sure where, but I was surrounded… and the walls- they were coming closer, and closer- and I- I couldn't breathe and then there was a voice and a light and…" Trinity trailed off . She knew she was making no sense. The things she had just seen, would only have any meaning to her. She decided to cut the story short. "The flower accepted me." Trinity summed up.

"Really?!" Jake said excitedly. He had no idea what Trinity had been trying to say the first time so he just ignored it and responded to her second statement. "That's great! I have this necklace that you can use, just put the flower inside and put it on." Jake told her.

He walked over to a wall that was filled with drawers and buckets, all filled with their training supplies. He opened one of the medium sized drawers and pulled out a black, silk bag. He opened it up and took something out of it. Closing the bag, he put it back into the drawer and shut it. Walking back to the small group, he handed the necklace to Trinity and sat back down.

Trinity looked at the necklace in her hand. It had a dainty, silver chain with a charm on it. The charm was a simple sphere. The charm opened up to reveal a small space, just the size of her pinky nail. She looked at Jake and raised an eyebrow. She held up the sphere charm and the flower next to each other. "And how am I supposed to fit this flower, inside of a tiny necklace charm?" Trinity asked, her voice full of disbelief.

"All you have to do is touch the stem of the flower to the inside of the sphere. The flower will shrink accordingly and the sphere will be sealed shut. You can also have the charm to change into another shape or color, but that's up to you. " Jake elaborated.

"Oh ok." Trinity said. She powered her head and looked at the charm again.setting the flower on her lap, she pried open the charm with both hands. While it was open, she picked up the flower between her fingers and gingerly touched the stem inside of the charm. The flower began to shrink. You could see it happening. It went from being taller then Trinity's hand, to being as small as a few ants.

"Woah!" Max said. "That's so cool!"

"It's called an enchanted storage necklace. Many people use them to keep precious herbs or items safe." Jake replied.

Trinity smiled and clasped the necklace on. She was happy to have something that to finally own something that not everybody could have, something that her dad would never think to take away from her and add it to his fireplace like he had done with her other things. She was happy to own something that her dad could only dream of.

"So, since we have gone through the basic procedures, we should pick stalls. Remember, choose wisely, you will be staying in them for the next month." Jake said.

They all nodded and scurried away. Soon, Alex's feet were frozen in place again. Alex rolled his eyes and sneered, "Ugh. What do you want now, old man?" Jake scowled at him. He was actually not that old, and he knew it. Sarah guessed that he couldn't be any older then 30, but when somebody was older than 30, when they were called old, it hit a soft spot.

"Don't you remember?" Jake asked with a sinister smile. "I told you that you were getting the stall right by mine, so I will always be able to keep my eye on you.

"What?! I thought you were just kidding about that!" Alex said angrily.

"Nope!" He unfroze Alex's feet and grabbed his arm. Forcefully dragging him to a stall. "Here it is! Your brand new room! What do you think?" Jake said with a laugh.

Alex stood there staring at the room. One could practically see the steam coming from his ears and hear the train whistle blowing as his face grew more and more red by the second. "How dare you mock me like this!" Alex yelled.

The room that Jake had brought him to was decorated in pink. Although there were not many decorations, each room seemed to be color coded. Alex had gotten the pink room. The door to the bathroom was pink. The lamp shade was pink. The sheets were pink. The comforter was pink. The pillows were pink. The light fissure was pink. Even the door knob was pink. It was like what Sarah's littler sister, Lily, paradise would have been.

"Honestly Alex, I don't really care what you think about the room. Whether you like it or not, this will be your room." Jake said.

Alex was mad, but he had no room to argue. Jake was the superior to Alex in many ways. Jake was older, he was powerful, most importantly, he was the one in charge here. The one who would be teaching them how to control their powers. He would ultimately decide if Alex were to succeed or not. Also, Jake had frozen Alex's mouth shut, so even if he had wanted to say something, he couldn't.

Alex just shook off his hand that was still holding his arm and stomped over to the door. He opened it and stepped inside, slamming it behind him. He stomped over to the pink, frilly bed and sulked. He looked up at the wall, only to see Sarah laughing at him. Doubled over and crying, Sarah just couldn't stop laughing when she saw an Angry Alex sitting on what looked like it was a little girl's bed. Alex was soon embarrassed and his face got red. He stomped over to the bathroom, the only section that actually had walls, and walked in, slamming that door shut too.
