Sarah then got angry. Why had Max's mom spent so much on a dress for her?! When her face went dark, a few of the girls took a step back. Unfortunately for Max, he had just come out of the bedroom, now in his tux. Sarah stomped over to him and said, "How could you let your mom spend so much money on me?!?"

bedroom, now in his tux. Sarah stomped over to him and said, "How could you let your mom spend so much money on me?!?"
"What! I- I don't know what you're talking about!!!" Max said, backing into the door.
"Your mother bought me a dress from UV collection! These things cost 10,000 dollars minimum!" Sarah said. She raised her shoe over her head, ready to bring it crashing down on top of Max's head for allowing his mother to spend so much money on a simple dress for her. She was supposed to be wearing the stupid pink princess dress! Not one from the UV collection!
Suddenly, somebody grabbed her wrist. Sarah whipped her head around to see who would dare to stop her and saw Emily. Emily looked scared. Sarah said "Why did you stop me! The money that was used to buy this dress could have gone to so many better things then a dress for me!"
"Sarah…" Emily began, "Take a breath. You're really angry right now so let's not do anything rash while we are having a hard time controlling your temper."
Sarah's hand began to tremble. She looked down and a small spark flew from it. Sarah dropped the shoe in surprise. She stared at her palm in a daze. WHAT the heck just happened! Sarah thought to herself. She suddenly remembered she was being watched by a large group of people. She glanced around and was relieved to see people not reacting in the way they would if one saw parks coming from the empty palm of one's hand. The only one who had seemed to notice was Max.
She breathed a sigh of relief. Emily had let go of her wrist when Sarah had dropped the shoe. She bent down to pick it up and said "I'm gonna go talk with Jenny about the thing that's happening tomorrow. Max, you need to come too cause I'm freaking out right now." Sarah said with a quivering voice.
Max's eyes widened with understanding and Sarah grabbed his wrist, dashing out the door. She began to pound on the Freidrickson's door. "Jenny….. I really need you right now…" Sarah said when there was no response.
Soon, there were footsteps behind them. 2 sets. "Max? Sarah? What are you two doing out here?"
At the familiar of the voice, Sarah ran into the woman's arms. Tears falling freaky down her cheeks. "Jennyyy" Sarah weeped.
"Oh honey, what's wrong?!" Jenny said, concerned.
"Uhhh." Sarah peered over Jenny's shoulder and saw a few maids who had stopped in their tracks to look at them. "Can we go into your room before I tell you? At first it was because of this dress but now it's about something that's got to do with my birthday being tomorrow."
Jenny's eyes widened with surprise. She may not have known about the GSPD as much as Max or Sarah did but what she did know was enough to realize that her powers would go into effect tomorrow, her 16th birthday. Just like Max's would, a week later.
Jenny ushered everyone inside and locked the door quickly behind them. Come, sit over here. The room is soundproof so nobody can hear our discussions."
"Are you sure that there sound proof?" Sarah asked, not fully convinced."Yes. When the maid told me they were, I sent James into the hallway and screamed as loud as I could. He said he couldn't hear anything." Jenny presented the proof.
"Of course you did. Well anyways, freaking sparks just flew out of my left hand!" Sarah said.
"Sparks?!" Jenny exclaimed with surprise.
"Yes! Sparks! Max and I were the only ones who had noticed it, thank god. Otherwise who knows what would have happened if somebody else had seen it!" Sarah said.
"Sparks. From your hands." Jenny said, still in shock.
"Yes Jenny! Sparks! From my left hand!" Sarah said, getting a little bit impatient. "My birthday is tomorrow, remember? Our divine skills unlock on our birthdays. Mine must be coming early or something." Sarah explained.
"Well, what were you doing when the sparks came?" Jenny asked curiously.
"About to hit Max in the head with my shoe." Sarah replied bluntly.
"What! Why!" Jenny asked.
"Well, it's your fault! I was super mad because you spent so much money on this dress! This dress is a part of the UV collection! Meaning that they cost at least 10,000 dollars!" Sarah said angrily, remembering the previous moments.
"10,00 dollars! They told me that it was only 1,000! They claimed to give me a good discount because you were 'worthy' whatever that means. But if 10,000 dollars comes out of my bank account I'm gonna sue that place. I have the receipt somewhere around here as proof." Jenny then walked over to her purse sitting on the counter and started fishing around inside. She pulled out a wrinkled receipt, "Ah ha!" Jenny exclaimed as she held the receipt up for them to see.
"Here look! Only 1,000… huh?" Jenny said as she studied the receipt. "It- it says that the dress was no charge." She said confused. She held the receipt up to Mr. Fredrickson to look at and he just nodded his head in conformation that what Jenny saw was true, not an illusion.
"What, let me see!" Sarah said as she walked over to look at the receipt.

Sarah looked up at the other's in confusion. She turned to Max who had read the receipt over her shoulder and said "It's like we never even bought the dress…" Sarah thought back to when they were at the designer store. Now that she thought about it, the servant's there had said something about her being worthy…
-
The stylists exchanged glances and the head designer nodded at them and they scurried over to the dress rack and said, "you are pure in the heart." Said a shorter girl, she looked child-like, she was beautiful, with long golden hair.
"You are worthy." Said another. She was slightly taller than Sarah and had cropped brown wavy hair.
"You deserve a happy ending. With this dress we promise that a happy ending will come your way." Said the head designer. Sarah was suddenly struck with the realization that they all looked similar. They all had the same slightly heart-shaped head, beauty and fragile frames. They must be sisters Sarah thought.

Jenny's voice brought Sarah back to reality, "Sarah, I have something for you."
