"... Purple Worms are one of the apex predators of the desert and mountain rocky terrains, they usually locate their prey either by sound or smell, their vision is inarguably terrible. They tend to make tunnels underground and eat their prey on the surface whatever is possible. An adult purple worm has a jaw big enough to eat a horse whole. And due to them making a lot of tunnels underground, they ended up eating a lot of precious jewels and minerals that their stomach can't digest. Said minerals and precious gems makes the activity of hunting a purple worm something extremely profitable."~ Alt Jin Book Page 328 ~

"Some historians say that ancient Dwemers used purple worm tunnels to establish their civilization at the start. Said dwarves have been in eternal wars against the purple worms during their existence, always fighting for the precious territory underground. Some warrior clans used the hunting of purple worms as a rite of passage. Eventually, the Dwemers grew enough technologically that purple worms became barely a nuisance for them, they even reached the point of creating purple worm farms." ~ Alt Jin Book Page 328 ~

"Sadly, one day the Dwemers suddenly disappeared. So many of their underground cities are simple ruins and relics of the past. Unfortunately, thanks to that, an epidemic of purple worms started. Apparently, the purple worms have been growing in size inside the automatic farms of the Dwemer, and after some degradation of time, the farms eventually broke, releasing tons of purple worms in the world. So always have in mind that when you are close to a dwemer ruin your chances of encountering a purple worm are 120%. Yes, it is that high. thankfully hunting purple worms is extremely profitable, so if you are strong enough they are just some meat bags filled with gems." ~ Alt Jin Book Page 328 ~

"And don't underestimate a purple worm, they are extremely varied and lethal depending on their subspecies. Yep, they have a bunch of subspecies like; The Desert Runner which is extremely fast and has loads of stamina, the Purple Widow who has one extremely lethal venom, or the Purple Diamond who has an extremely strong carapace that looks like a bunch of rough diamonds, and there is also the Elemental Variants or the Bloody Maw Variant which has an even bigger and stronger maw, then there is..." ~ Alt Jin Book Page 328 ~

"I will be sure to write everything I can remember in some sort of bestiary in these last pages."~ Alt Jin Book Page 328 ~

And yes, I am close to finishing the book. I spent the whole night walking and reading this book. And the amount of new information I received is honestly staggering. Just the bestiary pas page 310 is basically a goldmine that would make any researcher green with envy. Most of the monsters of the bestiary my Alt self wrote down were either extremely deadly or had some special ability that I should be aware of. He wrote absolutely everything that he could remember on the and that helped me immensely.

It's already noon and I am pretty close to finishing the book, I've observed and there are only 12 more pages I have to get through. The sun was honestly scorching hot, and even with the protection of my [Ki] mixed with [Ripple], I could feel that my skin was started to boil under its deadly rays. Thankfully my [Ripple] and my own healing factor I acquired thanks to the [Divine Dan] are maintaining me quite well close to my peak condition.

The [Divine Dan] is really a huge cheat, and when I combine it with [Ripple], my healing factor becomes something pretty great. I bet that as long as I don't lose huge chunks of flesh or limbs, this combination can heal pretty much anything. Well, according to Alt Jin, I shouldn't be conceited because there is definitely a lot of bullshit in this universe that can negate or debuff my healing powers.

After some more time passed it was already afternoon, and I was literally on the last page of the book, in the literal last paragraph. Finishing the last paragraph, I looked at the last piece of info Alt Jin has written to me, it's a simple footnote talking a little bit more about an interesting function of the [Elder Scroll(Eye)].

"Well, I probably should've already mentioned something like this when we were talking. But the [Elder Scroll(Eye)] I gave you is quite attached to us. Somehow the scroll got extremely attached to me, and no matter how far I'd throw it, it would always appear close to me not much time later. How it does that? I don't fucking know. It's difficult to analyze a fragment of creation no matter how OP you are. So you don't need to worry if you lost it, it will always appear close to you."~ Alt Jin Book ~

"With this, I've written everything I can consciously remember. I just hope I am able to successfully help you in your future endeavors. Good Luck. And by the love of God and everything that is holy please, DO NOT BECOME ME." ~ Alt Jin Book ~

So that is it...

The book ended...

I guess I should thank my alternative self that went to great lengths to make sure I didn't commit the same mistakes he did. When I saw him defeated, battered, and bruised, I couldn't help but associate his image with Madara moments before he died. A man that had literally everything at his fingertips, but ultimately failed and ended up regretting his actions. My Alt Self was way worse for wear when compared with Madara, but I can still make the associations.

Talking about Madara, my Alt Self discovered a way to use [Susanoo] whiteout eyes. Yep, that an incredible impressive fit right there. For you to have the slightest notion of how much bullshit that is, the only other person to do that was Madara, and he was the literal definition of exception. He was a genius, extremely talented, had decades worth of experiences using the skill, had acquired the [Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan], had awakened the [Rinnegan], was a reincarnation of Indra, had Hashirama face literally implanted on his chest, access to senjutsu, and much much more...

You can see that Madara was the literal definition of exception in this case, so I never truly expected to be able to use [Susanoo] whiteout my eyes any time soon. And Alt Jin proved me correct when he said I needed a lot of practice using the [Susanoo], the [Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan], and a lot of strength to be able to do that. I already assumed as much, without the [Eternal MAngekyo Sharingan] how I am supposed to practice the damn technique? My 10-meter limited sight is more than enough proof that abusing a normal [Mangekyo Sharingan] is a very bad idea. But I am still happy with the hope he gave me.

Suddenly I notice some dust forming in my hand, when I looked down I could see the book has started to become dust. It was almost like the book was Thanos snapped.

"Mr. Yang... I don't feel so good...".

Suddenly I hear a low voice whispering in my ears, apparently, it came from the book. I couldn't help but feel my right eye twitching a bit, apparently, that bastard Alternative me couldn't resist making this joke.

The book slowly ceased to exist, only leaving a metal compass with a chain in my hand. When closed it looked pretty similar to a gold necklace that I see in Skyrim, it had roughly the same size and appearance, aside from the button at its base, and when touch said button on its base it opens showing the compass underneath. It's nothing extremely fancy but I definitely can appreciate the practicality of the thing, I am also grateful it is a necklace as I am pretty sure I could easily lose it if it wasn't. Principally seeing as I don't have pockets right now, as I am still wearing the same rags from when I was attacking Kaiser mansion.

I continued walking in the desert in the south direction, of course, I didn't stop circulating my cultivation techniques for even a second, both [Ki]and [ripple] mixed together cycling and cycling. Eventually, I started to grow bored of just seeing sand and different shaped dunes, that was something inevitable. So I decided to test something really stupid to entertain myself.

I should've probably read some of the books engraved in my memory, or simply re-read Alt Jin's book, but I was feeling like acting someone my age for a moment there. Both Alt Jin and the other message in my head said for me to have fun and live for myself a bit, so why not?

Picking up the [Elder Scroll(Eye)] I started to feel its small weight in my hands. Just from looking and feeling the scroll, I could say it is definitely something special, otherworldly. It's quite a strange feeling, having a literal piece of creation in my hands. With a deep breath, I grip the scroll with my right hand, pushing my arms backwards a little... with all my strength...I throw the scroll the farthest I can...

The Fragment of creation traveled in the air for a great distance, probably. I still can't see shit past the 10 meters mark so I just presume things. I simply continued walking normally without even beating an eye in the direction I threw the elder scroll.

Few seconds have passed and I finally notice some kind of strange glint in the sand, curiously I crouch down to examine what it is. And to the surprise of no one, it was the [Elder Scroll(eye)].

So it does indeed return to me every time I toss or lose it. Definitely something pretty convenient... Can I use an elder scroll as a weapon? I mean... They are technically indestructible... And it most certainly gotta hurt to be hit by a big metal-coated scroll. It's not a sword or a spear, but it seemly like a good substitute for a blunt-type weapon, at least until I am able to find a real weapon somewhere.

Without nothing to do, I kept throwing the [elder scroll] away... Every time it got back I would throw it again and see how much time it took to come back.

I threw again...

And again...

And again...

And when it was literally the middle of the afternoon I noticed something strange... it was like my sixth sense AKA foreboding feeling was screaming DANGER to me. Sadly I couldn't detect anything with my senses, my ears didn't hear anything, nor did I notice any kind of strange smell or shift in the wind, my eyes could see only for 10 meters so they were pretty useless in locating a far away prey.

I just crouched down to take the [Elder scroll(eye)] that had just returned, but still, nothing happened. Suddenly a gigantic Purple Worm completely devours my body in one fell swoop. Its mouth was big enough that it was able to completely swallow me in an instant.

But if the worm could see, it would be able to notice a strange figure running away at incredible highspeed towards the horizon, this silhouette was, of course, me applying the legendary secret technique of the Joestar family [Nigerundayo!]. The moment I felt the sand underneath my feet shifting in a strange and suspiciously way, I immediately used one of my walking skills the [Illusionary Step]. Creating an illusion of my body, which the purple worm immediately detected.

I didn't have much time to observe the worm due to my situation, but with the few characteristics I was able to see, I immediately knew what Subspecies it was. The worm was rather sleek, its mouth was full of small but incredible sharp teeth, around its body you could see a bunch of moving bone spikes that probably helps with its movements. On its gigantic purple body, there are some colored lines. So this purple worm is probably a Desert Runner.

Well, shit. This one is one of the worst kinds to meet in a desert. Just hope my initial [Illusionary Step] was enough to distract it.

It wasn't. The worm only faltered for a single heartbeat before immediately burying itself in the sand and start pursuing me.
