It wasn't surprising for the wolves to see Hawi shed a tear after the long night.
They had expected that of her for a long time now, and seeing her like that got them relaxing. The girl had gone through so much and they hadn't been able to help her like they would have wished to do so.
She had left home without letting them console her and it was a regret that they all held in the new Sicario. So, when she shed her first tear, they collectively emitted pheromones to make her feel loved and wanted by them.
It was the only way they knew to tell her that they loved her without swarming her with highs and affection. Their leaders would do that on their behalf and they didn't have a complaint about that.
"Let it out, sister. I'm here for you, we all are. It is okay," Elodie reassured softly.
