All washed up and ready to go, I looked myself up in the mirror. Plain black jeans and a black t-shirt with the words "I'm entitled" written on was my outfit choice. Of course, I matched the look with black and white checkered vans.
I looked like I was going to a goth-themed funeral. Which would make sense in this situation since I didn't even feel like going out with...them.
Placing my hand over my heart I immediately removed it after feeling how fast it was beating. Taking a deep breath I looked at the reflection and said with a fake smile.
"It's all going to be just fine."
Yeah, I was lying to myself but it was all I could do to convince myself that today wasn't totally gonna be a mess. So after my dear father and I talked, we decided that the boys and I would go out to the movies and then head over to a nearby restaurant.
