Staring up at the boy who saved me my breath caught in my throat and for a second it felt like I could not blink. He held me so close to his body that I could feel his body heat radiating from him. The feeling of his breath brushing against my cool cheeks made me flush in embarrassment
The green in his eyes seemed brighter up close almost like I was being swallowed by a large forest. The longer I looked into them the bigger they seemed to get. But, wait why were they getting larger? It took me a while to realize that they were not expanding but instead getting closer as in he was leaning into me.
Entranced by the forest in his eyes I felt a pull against my own better judgement and too began leaning in. The touch of his soft lips slightly grazing mine gave me an unimaginable feeling. My heart fluttered at the soft feathery touch, but before I could further indulge in the feeling it was quickly replaced with a cold and empty air.
