Chereads / Sors Mea Online (SMO) [Rough Version] / Sors Mea Online (SMO) Intro : Part 2

Sors Mea Online (SMO) Intro : Part 2

This won't be a Continuation of the Last Intro, but will instead explain more of the Features and more about Items and Creatures. I say "Creature" because there are more than just Monsters and other Races, for example :

Goblins : Monster

Beast-Kin : Beast Race

Hop-Bunny : Animal

(This one's nearly harmless)

Well, with that out of the way, I should explain about the System that the Game uses for the Players and NPC's in SMO.

First off, Level. With every Kill, Exp is rewarded. Quests can be activated when you accept to take on a Task from another person. Some Quests can give Exp, but they usually give Items.

Now the Stat Points. When you Level Up, you gain 5 Stat Points to put into any Stat. This may seem like quite a lot for just leveling up, but with the Strength of some Creatures, or even the Unique Monster : No-Name, then the points will be very needed.

And now Skills. When you level up, you get Stat Points, but there are no Skill Points. When certain Tasks or Stat Requirements are Achieved, then a Skill will be obtained. For example, if you swing a Sword enough, then you would get the Skill.

Let's talk about Magic. Magic is a bit different from Skills, but the way to obtain Basic Magic is very Simple. When you concentrate enough on wanting to move some Water or Fire using Mana alone, then with enough time and practice, you will gain the respective Element of Magic. The Basic Magic has 9 Categories :

Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Null (5 Basics)

Light, Dark, Life, Death (4 Basics)

(Life is Healing, Death is Cursing)

There are also Combinations of Magic, or even just changing the Temperature of Magic, like cooling Water to Freeze it, and after doing that for a while, you will eventually get .

Rarities. Everything has a Rarity. Items, Weapons, Skills, Creatures, and even Magic. The Rarities go from F to S Rank. Weapons on the other hand are different. They go from Common to Ancient-Myth Rarity.

Unique Weapons and Skills. There are many Unique Skills, like LacX's Skill. There are only 2 ways to get a Unique Skill... sort of. Thw 1st way is to Create an SMO Account and choose a Unique Skill. The 2nd way is to conquer an S-Rank Dungeon by Yourself. Unique Skills, unlike normal Skills, have special Properties. For example, the Normal skill allows for easier control of Mana output, as well as the Mana within the Body. The Unique Skill allows for easier control of Mana, but also allows you to mess with the Mana that is used for Spells. Internal Mana won't be affected until the Skill reaches Rank S.

Ranking Up. When a Skill or Magic is used enough times, then the skill will Level Up. When a Skill reaches Level 10, the skill can Rank Up.

Level 10 F-Rank -> Level 1 E-Rank

Passive Effects. There are many Passive Skills, or Items that can give certain Effects. Skills that can boost a Stat, or give you a generated Shield, or an Item that can save you from a Fatal Wound, or have +Regen on it. These effects can be quite useful.

Unique Weapons. There is a Unique Weapon in Every [God Tower]. The God Towers are Divine Rank Dungeons. Other that F-S Rank and Unique Rank, there is Divine Rank, which is to tell you that they are very strong, nearly reaching the realm of Gods to challenge a God for Authority over said Gods Realm. Anyways, Unique Weapons each have a [Unique Weapon Skill] attached to it, for example :

[Seven Sins Blade : Gluttony]

[Unique Skill : Stat Eater]

50% of the Targets Stats are applied to

the Weapon, and can be released all at Once for 30 Seconds before Draining>

That is a Weapon of the 7 Sins, Gluttony. These resemble the 7 Deadly Sins, in the Matter of their Names, and the Concept of their Skills. There are also other Unique Weapons, like the Holy Sword, Heavens Blade, Demon Scythe, or the Thunder Rapier.

There are many Gods, each with their own Weapon, and each with a Blessing.

Blessings. If you beat a [God Tower] with a Party, then everybody in the party gets a Blessing, with effects that vary from the God or Goddess. Effects could include Slight Buffs or Reduced Damage Taken. If you Anger a God, however, then instead of a Blessing, you get the Skill [(Gods Name)'s Wrath] which can give permanent Debuffs or even Increased Damage Taken. The Effect will just be the Opposite of the Blessings Effect.

Now Last, but not least, Artifacts. Artifacts are like Unique Weapons, but instead of Weapons, they are Items, or pieces of Equipment. They are Unique Grade Items with Special Effects, such as the Infinite Bag, the Minds Eye, the Magic Map, and even a Warp Stone. All of these have Special Effects. Some Items, like the Warp Stone, have Conditions for their Effects. The Magic Map can only see where you have been, the Minds Eye can only see your Surrounding if your Eyes are Closed, and the Warp Stone needs to have a place Marked with a Magic Circle drawn using the Warp Stone to warp back to it. These effects last for as long as you want. If the Artifact is Broken, anything within a 15 Meter Radius will be Paralized, except for the User. The User is Registered as soon as the Artifact is touched. Artifacts, unlike Unique Weapons, are found in a [Labyrinth] rather than a [Dungeon]. The Difference? Well, the Dungeons are the Towers that go Up, while Labyrinth's are Mazes that go Down.

Now that should do it for the Long, yet brief explanation of what there is in Store for SMO. There may or may not be any more updates on these, but I will make a Brief Character Sheet for the MC every 10-20 Chapters to keep the Readers in check with how far the MC has gone based on Stats, Skills, Magic, Equipment, Titles, and Jobs.

Titles are aquired by doing certain difficult tasks, while Jobs can be either Chosen upon making an Account, or Acquired/Changed at either the Guild or the Church for a small fee.

Well, guess thats it for now. The 1st Chapter might be out this week, but I don't 100% know yet. But if you feel interested, then stay tuned, I guess.
