This story has been my first ever baby. Just like the title suggests, all the characters' lives are intertwined. It may seem confusing at first but let me assure you that they have a huge part in our protagonist's life. For now, let me introduce you to Sandy in this chapter.

Nikolai suppressed his smile upon seeing the cute new secretary of Stellar's Marketing Head and his longtime "date", Kriza.
He does have different dates every now and then but Kriza was one of the longest one—one year now. They aren't exclusive but he can feel that Kriza is already expecting more than what he can offer he.
All women does, right?
He almost sighed at the thought.
At first date, he would already tell women not to expect anything much from him. Meaning, he can't promise them rings or wedding bells.
In short, no strings attached.
The same thing apply to Kriza but it seems like when you go out with women longer than the others, they expect that that's because they are different from the rest. That they are special.
They are special for me, that's for sure. But not in that way.
He hasn't allowed another woman to know him deeper than what he shows them.
He inwardly grinned at himself when he catch Kriza's new secretary glancing at him again.
They were seated in front of each other inside the conference room where the continuous excellent sales performance of his album is being tackled.
KC…
He had been noticing her for the past few days that they would pass through each other in the hallway or see each other inside pantry or employees' lounge.
And he would always feel and even catch her searing eyes looking at him like she's piercing his insides.
Eyes looking at him that feel like they want to eat him has already been normal for him. Almost all women would have the same reaction when meeting him, boasting aside.
But KC, who has been introduced to him by Kriza herself, is different. She seems to be looking at him not with lust but with longing. Which is very puzzling for him. How can she long for him if this is the very first time they've met?
She had been glancing at him when she feels like he isn't looking.
And he can't help himself from teasing her.
'She's too cute', he can't help from thinking.
Finally, he decided to intently look at her, try to catch her looking ang glancing at him.
When finally, she looked at him, he smiled sweetly at her that made her checks blush too much.
He almost laughed out loud as he can't help himself from feeling silly at what he's doing with her.
As KC took her eyes from him, he decided to concentrate more on what the people in the meeting were talking about.
*******
"Are you saying KC isn't really doing well at work?"
Hanna can't suppress the mixed emotions she's feeling right now.
Just the other day she had dinner with her bestfriend KC.
KC sound excited and seemed lively but she can feel that she's hiding something from her. Just like always.
Even when they were still studying in US, KC has always been reserved and introverted. She would always bottle up everything inside her, try to look okay and calm when deep inside she's been having a hard time with the bullies in their university.
It was like high school all over again.
Especially when KC would already be fed up of all the bullying, she would have seizures and have blackouts.
She would forget days, weeks, even months of her life just because of her blackouts which was a result of her traumatic experiences in the past.
And although KC would usually be secretive to her, she would always get all the information from Tin, one of the few people that knows everything about KC.
"Bitch, did you really think people would treat her like a queen when what they know is that she is just an assistant of the Marketing Head?"
Hanna almost groaned at Sandy's answer.
She really doesn't like her but she's thankful for all her help.
Sandy has always been blatant, bitchy and bossy.
Unlike KC, she is independent and always know what she wants.
She also know how to take care of herself, she's a blackbelt in taekwondo.
Sandy, just like her has been asked by the couple Yumi and Salvator to take care of KC. They were properly compensated but they do that to help KC more than anything else.
"You don't have to be a bitch about it Sandy." She snarled at her.
"I've always been a bitch, just like you."
If she can, she'd definitely strangle Sandy's neck right now.
They've been taking care of KC eversince they were young but Sandy never like her.
'And the feeling is definitely mutual', she can' help herself from thinking.
There has always been a bad blood between them and she never knew when it started.
The first time they've met, Sandy already made sure to let her know she doesn't like her one bit.
"Just tell me everything that happened."
She decided to just stop their bickering and ask for a report of KC's life for the past few days.
"She enjoys what she's doing but it has been tiresome for her. Her job is supposedly 9 to 5 but she sometimes go home until 9 to 10 pm. Her boss, Kriza, is another bitch who I can't even talk about right now since she's been getting on my nerves. KC is like her slave in the office!" Hanna gasped as Sandy's voice rises.
"Stop it Sandy. You know how much KC wants to start working in the company as a normal employee."
"Shut it Hanna. We all know that is not the main reason why she badly wants to work in that company."
And Hanna can't deny that fact.
Ever since Nikolai had a concert in the US five years ago, KC has been a fan, not, more like an obsessed fan.
She said she fell in love with Nikolai the very first time she saw him perform.
Also, Nikolai's songs were a huge help during the time KC was having a hard time in school because of all the bullies.
She let Sandy continue her reports and she continued listening while writing down her notes.
"I hope I can also talk to Tin." She unknowingly express her thoughts.
"You've always liked Tin more than me, right?" And Sandy smirked at her.
"That's not true. I have been trained to be fair towards you guys." She immediately answered.
"I have been trained to be fair towards you guys." Sandy mimic her in a small, annoying voice.
"Stop patronizing me, Hanna. We both know that we don't like each other and the only thing that has been keeping us in constant communication is KC. Well, you can't force Tin to talk to you. You know well she'll just like a part-timer who will come to work whenever she wants to." And Sandy laughed at her.
She gave her a death glare but she know that as usual, Sandy is correct.
As much as she wants to talk to Tin, she can never predict when she'll show up.
Tin, who is also asked to report about KC's actions, is a painter.
And just like any other artist, she is quiet and sensitive. She understands KC more than anyone else.
