After the disaster that was Noah's(no wait he's Lin Yun/Yue now) birth, things have been pretty boring. Sure he freaked out a lot about the fact that not only does he have to juggle two bodies, one of them is of the opposite gender.
Did you know baby bodies translate emotional stress into hysterical crying? Our parents really suffered the first few months. It's a good thing they're adaptive and open minded, it only took a few months to get used to the status quo.
Lin Yun figured something out during those few months. His connection with his twin isn't as, hm what's the word, complete as he thought. They are the same person with the same memories and senses don't get him wrong but they're also not. It's like how he knows that he's Lin Yun instead of Lin Yue because 'he' is currently focusing mainly on the senses from Lin Yun. He also knows there a part of Noah Bale focusing on Lin Yue. 'She' is still him but they have a illusion of independence from each other. It's kinda like a split personality or extreme multitasking.
This does explain how he's still sane because he doubts the human mind is meant to process two sources of stimuli at once. Not that there's much stimuli to process considering the fact that he's a baby that has a severely undeveloped brain and can only stay awake for short periods of time.
Anyways he's rambling, though to be fair being a baby is probably the most boring thing he has ever done. Babies do literally nothing just eat, sleep, poop, and repeat. He can't even bother his twin because that's just bothering himself. The only thing to do is look around the room or wait for their parents to come in and play with them.
Speaking of the room it turns out their parents in this life are loaded. The room is designed in an oriental style, the decoration tasteful but Lin Yun's past is helping him pick up on the fact that they probably cost a ton of money.
He's also figured out that this is definitely an xianxia world. The lamps are lit up by spirit stones and their parents sometimes talk about cultivation. He's pretty sure he saw someone flying by out the window once. Also he can't be sure but he seems to be sensing 'something' in the air. It's like energy, but flowing everywhere, there's a lot of it gathered in their parents so they must be cultivators.
Lin Yun's thoughts were cut off by a sudden yawn, damn his baby body is tired again. He's noticed when he thinks too much it seems to use up the limited amount of energy his baby body has. This is really counterproductive to his plan of seeing if he could figure out cultivation as a tiny child.
'Curse you baby body'
