A WEEK LATER
Good Morning princess Morrigan, did you sleep well? Those words had woken up the little baby who was sleeping so soundly. Morrigan had opened her eyes only to close them suddenly as the bright lights were shinning threw the big glass windows. She was picked up by her head lady in waiting she was her primary care taker lady after all.
Leann why did you wake her, you are going to mess up her sleeping schedule. Another servant had told Leann who was carrying the baby in her hands.
You are just jealous that I am the one who is the serve the only princess from King and Queen. She said sticking out her tongue to the other lady. Morrigan had given it some time to fully adjust to be woken up so she opened her eyes once again coming face to face with Leann the young woman who was joyful and full of energy. She was about 17 years old not married yet. She wasn't ugly Morrigan thought to herself looking at Leann. She had black hair that was tied up in a ponytail, with amber eyes to could show just how happy she was. She was fair skinned as well but look like she enjoyed to tan.
How mature of you Leann. Bethea said rolling her eyes at Leann while chuckling. She said while picking up prince Heinrich. She placed him on her chest as she sat down getting him ready to drink his bottle.
Bethea, do you think that we will be their throughout their entire lives. I want to see princess Morrigan grow up. She said as she whined looking at the baby with love in her eyes. Morrigan could care less as she looked at Leann with her tired eyes.
Leann stop holding her in the air and fed the child. She looks like she is going back to sleep, you don't want her to start crying if you wake her up again. Bethea said as she cradled Heinrich in her arm rocking him back and forth while feeding him his bottle. Leann then walked over to the other rocking chair placing the child in position to drink her bottle. The two sat there rocking the babies to sleep after they finished their meals. Leann whispered to Bethea once again.
Bethea you didn't answer my question, do you think we will always serve them? Leann asked with eyes wide open as they sparkled to the thought of always serving them.
Leann we could only hope that we can, you know after a certain age they wont need us anymore. She whispered back as she got up to place Heinrich back into his bassinet to sleep soundly. Leann followed her lead placing Morrigan in hers as well. The too stepped out the room quietly trying not to wake them closing the door behind them.
Bethea are you planning on getting married soon, you are older than me. She asked curiosity displayed on her face. Bethea glared at Leann as she enjoyed bringing up their age difference.
Leann I am not that much older than you. You make it sound like I'm 40 years old, I'm only 23 years old. I have all the time in the world to find a husband, but right now we need to focus on taking care of the newborn royal babies not men. Get you head out the gutter. She told Leann as she hit her head softly. Causing them to bump into the guards that they failed to notice as they were looking at each other when walking and talking.
Why do I keep getting hurt, first you Bethea now this. Leann said placing one hand on her nose and the other on the top of her head as that was where Bethea had hit her.
I'm sorry ladies I didn't mean to bump into you. Are you new here to the castle we hadn't seen you before right Alex. The first guard said as he elbowed the man next to him who apparently was named Alex.
I don't think we have seen you here before, Alex said as he looked Bethea up and down admiring her. As she had light blue hair with blue eyes. It was evident that she was beautiful. Her fair skin only maid her look more beautiful like a doll.
Well my name is Bethea and this is Leann, I'm the head care taker to princess Heinrich and she is the same but to princess Morrigan. Bethea said as she pointed to herself and to Leann as she tried to avert her eyes away from Alex as she could feel him burning a hole into her with his eyes as they stared at her.
And who are you? Leann asked as she kept rubbing her head. As she eyed the guard in front of her trying to compose herself not making her look too desperate.
Well this is Alex and I am Max we are brothers we both work the afternoon shift in guarding the new royal babies. They both did seem like they could be related as they had similar green eyes. But one had light brown hair and the other had dark brown hair. The ladies then excused themselves as they needed to return back to the children as they would wake up soon.
What about Alex, Bethea, he was pretty cute and he couldn't take his eyes off of you. Leann said excitedly as she bounced up and down.
Leann I told you already we need to focus on the children, we don't have time for men right now. She said as she looked backed to see if they were still there. She blushed slightly remembering how Alex had looked at her when they stood in front of each other.
Oh so you do think he is cute, can you imagine the muscles that those two have. Especially since they are royal guards they have to train hard to make it. One for you the other for me, I want to see them again, Leann said a little to loud that the boys could hear her as they walked in the opposite direction. They both smirked knowing that it was them who they were talking about.
Leann lower your voice everyone can hear you come on lets get back to the babies before they wake up from their nap. Bethea said before they arrived to the door that lead to the new prince and princess.
