A MONTH AFTER THE TWINS WERE BORN
My King we have foreign guest that have arrived to the castle. They wish to speak with you this instance, should I let them in? The lowly servant asked the king that sat on the throne in front of him. King Nolan looked upset to have sudden guest arrive at his castle. He also knew that he couldn't seem rude and refuse them especially if they are from over sees.
Let them in, he demanded in his deep toned voice sending fear even with unusual soft spoken words. He placed his elbow on the arm rest while the back of his hand went under his chin as he looked at the servant leave to retrieve the foreign people. He had a face of boredom as he could care less. Yet in that moment he did not know that those people would actually spark his interest.
Moments later the servants opened the giant steeled doors to let the guest in. A woman with dark brown hair and foggy grey eyes walked in along side a man with similar eyes yet he had silver locks of hair. You could tell they weren't from around here as they had golden brown skin tone, it was common among the people of this land. The woman wore a silver armor corset that hugged her curves beautifully and put her breast on full display she wore it with silver armor pants that hugged her just right. With black boots as well as a green cape to cover her from the colder weather. Her sword was tucked in her belt as she walked with confidence. She looked quite strong for a woman, as she walked her grey foggy eyes looked straight at the king in front of her.
As for her brother he has all black armor that looked to be made of the strongest metal known to man kind. He wore a black mask that only let his grey foggy eyes to be shown with his thick brown brows above them. He as well had a green cape hanging from his shoulders covering his back. He looked to be armed as well with a big sword place on his right hip. They both looked tall as they stride closer to the king throne walking with confidence.
Who are you? Why have you wished to speak with me? Nolan asked as he sat there looked at the guest.
We come from across the sea to congratulate you on the success of overthrowing the previous king. Also to bring a gift for the birth of your new children. The man said as he looked to the floor while kneeling on one knee.
We recently got news of all your accomplishments and wanted to bring a gift for the great king, King Nolan. The beautiful woman said in her soft tone voice as she was one one knee as well. Yet she looked straight at the king when speaking to him.
You may rise. Nolan said as he kept his eyes focused on the unknown woman. She was a beauty anyone could see that but he only has eyes for his wife.
So what is the gift that you have brought all the way here for us? He said rolling his eyes unimpressed of the whole situation.
Well your majesty we have brought you, he began to say as he turned behind him snapping his fingers. Two servants nodded as they exited the room only to return carrying a trunk full of gold. They placed it in front of the king throne opening it revealing the bright gold coins.
We also brought another gift. The woman said as two more servants entered with a man with chains around his wrists and ankles.
Who is this? Why have you brought me a person? Nolan asked raising a brow in a questioning matter. He looked at the man who had golden brown skin with long red hair he only looked down so he couldn't see his face.
This is no ordinary person he is actually a shapeshifter? The man said as he locked eyes with the king giving him an intense look. He approached the man who was chained up raising his head by placing his hang on his chin to show the king his face. Nolan stood up from his throne and approached the chained up man.
How did you find a shapeshifter? I thought they were extinct by now. He looked at the man noticing his golden eyes he was quite fit as his muscles could be seen through the shirt.
Well we all thought they were extinct, but we found him a while back. He has been caged up the entire time. The man spoke up once again, having a smirk on his face.
Why are you giving me something so rare, what would you like in return. Nolan questioned the quest, as he continued to walk around the man in chains.
Well I would like for one of your sons to marry my daughter. The woman said as she looked at the shapeshifter and the king who stopped in front of them.
One of my sons, why should I do that? You haven't even told me who you are or where you came from. All you have done is give me these rare gifts just to have my bloodline to mix with yours. Why should I? Nolan asked questioning them some more. Knowing that their had to be a catch to all of this. What should he do he thought to himself.
Who are you people I don't even know your name's nor where you are from? He asked in a curious manner not knowing anything either than how they wanted one of his children.
Sorry we did not mean to be rude I am Ernest Thornton the oldest son of the current ruling king of our land and this is my younger sister Victoria Thornton the second to be born from the queen and king. He said as the bowed down to King Nolan.
We also bring news to you King Nolan, but could we speak in private to discuss this private information. Victoria said as she gave the king an intense look. Nolan paused for a while as he looked at her with a matching intense look. He snapped his fingers so that the guards would take away the chained up man. He then looked to the siblings and raised his finger to signal them to follow him. He led them to his conference room where they could discuss in private. Nolan sat first and dismissed all the people besides him and his guest out of the room. Victoria and Ernest sat down after they had left.
Is it okay if we bring in one more person your majesty they have more information to this private matter. Ernest asked as he glanced at Nolan then tuned to his sister who was sat next to him they awaited the king to reply.
Who is this person that we need to have in here with us? Nolan asked even more curious now.
She is a witch from our land. She has amazing powers to predict the future and can see in the past as well. She is the reason why we are here. Victoria said as she smirked towards the king winking at him during the process.
Well bring her in if that's the case. This better be worth it. Nolan said irradiated at Victoria's actions.
Suddenly the metal doors were forced up abruptly and in came a woman wearing a robe with a hood that covered her face and body. Little did Nolan knew that the words that the woman would say change everything.
