As usual, I was seated on my study chair with my diary on the table as I jotted down some things. According to Matt me, I was very outspoken, rude and would always stick to Edward like glue. But I didn't feel the last part was needed?
He had recounted how, many times, I would get Edward to beat up the neighborhood kids including the girls if they made me mad, but he didn't tell me whether Edward really beat them since he was also sitting there, even thought I was curious to know, I didn't dare push my luck.
He also said getting into fights was a norm for me and out of all the gibberish he spat, the points I could get was the anthem he kept chanting 'I was rude, outspoken and foul-mouthed'. I could guess from his words that he had once been a victim of my abuse and I couldn't help but imagine a three-year-old me talking me down on him. Haha, hilarious.
I felt he really needed that, then and there but that am an adult now, and I have to act like one, moreover things have changed, I was no longer that outspoken girl and rather was distant with people, especially strangers but Matt had the vibe that I couldn't help but get attracted to.
Not as a crush, do not get me wrong but as the type of person I could be friends with. Apart from the usual sounds of utensils being picked, no other sound was heard from Edward from the beginning to the end and I found myself no longer disliking him that much.
No doubt, the bill was footed by one of the guys and I couldn't be bothered to find out who but for some reason, Biden refused to pick me up, telling me he came up with a fever and was in the hospital. I insisted on knowing which hospital he was admitted to, so I could go there to check on him, but he declined, telling me not to bother.
No matter how much I begged to get a ride with Matt, he insisted he had somewhere important to go and left immediately after, and I was stuck with this ice statue that won't talk. I couldn't find it in me to ask for help from him telling him neither did he take the initiative and I could swear I had cursed him multiple times before I heard his car horn.
He wound down the glass from the passengers seat and told me to enter to which I intentionally did slowly. This was the third time I had ridden in his car, but it still felt like the first.
I would occasionally glance at my watch because for some reason I felt he was driving extremely slowly. The journey that should have lasted thirty minutes was extended to a fifty because of his poor driving skills and because of that I didn't say my thanks when he dropped me off.

I had decided to push checking out the year book to tomorrow since I wanted to take it a step at a time but even at that, I couldn't get a wink of sleep. Some horror scenes kept flashing through my mind and I couldn't get a hold of myself.
Knowing that my episode was starting to act up, I reached for my nightstand and gulped down my medicine with water. After a while, I finally cooled down and was able to get some sleep.

My mom and dad left early for work today since it was no longer weekend and like my mom said, they had a lot on their plate. Junior also followed them, since my mom was going to drop him off at his friend's, and I had the whole house to myself.
It was just like every other holidays, if we didn't go on a family trip, I would always be home alone. Christmas was nearing and even Becca and Shayne had gone shopping. Lisa had called me multiple times to accompany her to do this or that, but I just wasn't in the mood and I didn't want to get too attached to her, so I refused.
I loved being on my own as there was a type of serenity you can't get from no other person than yourself.

My dad's study was locked, which is a norm since he wasn't home, and I headed to the family room.
The room hasn't been used for years, but at least that was where our family memories like albums and school results were kept. It wasn't dirty or dusty, as expected of a place that wasn't visited often thanks to Kara.
A family picture that was sitting in a corner caught my eye and I picked it up. It was a picture of my dad, my mom and a mini me. My two front tooth was missing and my long bang covered my forehead as I smiled for the camera.
By the looks of it, I was around age five, and I could still remember vividly the events that took place on that day, so I moved on to the next picture. I spotted one in a carton and bent down to pick it up before wiping the dust off it.
It was on a picture of me at the beach, all smiles on the back of a guy who I assumed to be… Edward? I stared at the picture harder and the more I looked, the more I was sure he was the one.
I hastily carried the carton the picture was in and turned it upside down, emptying the content on the chair.
The first thing I saw was my school yearbook and I looked through it. The faces of the kids in the picture looked familiar but at the same time didn't, and I understood it was because I really knew them but do not remember them again.
I of course saw Matt and couldn't help but laugh loudly. The about six years old him looked ugly in the picture with his brows shaved off. I stopped laughing when my stomach started hurting.
Bringing out my phone, I took a picture of him and smiled at my new achievement. I couldn't wait to see his face when he sees it.
I kept looking through and suddenly froze when I came by two names. They were together, and before I knew it, my head started getting heavy, and I felt slightly dizzy and found it hard to keep my balance. Everything appeared upside down, and I regretted not bringing my medicine along.
With a loud thud, I heard myself land on the cold tiles and that was the last feeling I could recollect. Pain.

Third Person P.O.V
The names she saw were, Sheebah Haqq and Jennifer Lawrence.
The matter seems deeper than it looked but at the same time what could a group of harmless kids do?
A chuckle was heard in the back and someone came out of the corner. Cather hadn't seen the person when she entered neither did she notice that someone was in the room with her, watching her as per someone's orders and that person is none other than their dear house help. Kara.
