Jake took a different stance this time. The pressure he was giving off was stronger. He was like a dragon, ready to dish out punishment. Lightning surged around him while his eyes closed. Like a loaded coil, Jake opened his eyes and disappeared.
Cuojue used her enhanced senses and dropped down to dodge the first strike. She then did a quick jump to dodge Jake's leg sweep and Jake began a series of attacks.
Jake used (Lightning Burst - Quick Chain)
Cuojue used (Alt - Illusion Steps)
Mist began to form around her and she started to blur. Although she was there, Jake's attacks missed and instead had hit afterimages. Cuojue weaved left and right ,then turned around to face him.
'As expected, she managed to dodge my attacks. Tch, only if I didn't suppress my level.
But I'm not pathetic to rely on my family techniques and level. I will win with my strength!'
Jake then decided on the last strike, with everything he had.
(Lightning Burst - Thunder Impact!)
His arms moved so fast, that his spear became lightning and made a booming sound.
Knowing that she could not take the attack head-on and she threw her daggers away, Cuojue spun and combined all of her best attacks into one move. (Blurred Fist + Silent Palm + Wraith's Point-Hit)
Both of her hands turned dark and shaped her hands like claws, she then struck outwards while she prepared for impact.
Both powerful attacks collided and made a huge boom sound, a shockwave pushed both of them back. Cuojue used this opportunity to use (Elusive Steps) and got close to Jake. Jake also felt Cuojue was near and started dodging.
Cuojue was using (Mirage Strikes + Indirect Whips). Her attacks were so fast that Jake was barely able to keep up. When all of a sudden a kick managed to come into the direction where he had no other way to dodge. So Jake blocked, but Cuojue's whip-like attack phased through the spear and struck his jaw. (Ugh! What was that?!)
Jake then decided to take a few hits and counterattack with his own, but his attempts failed when his attacks missed. Like a ghost, she was untouchable. Just when Jake was about to reach his tipping point, Cuojue decided to make her final move so that Jake wouldn't try a counter move.
(Fifth Form - Ghostly Grip) and (Sixth Form - Deathly Embrace)
Jake tried to escape her grasp, but he couldn't break off. The grip was so strong that he had a hallucination of feeling pain.
Cuojue then did a choke and wrapped her legs around his stomach. Both her arms and legs turned dark which enhanced her grapple strength. Jake suddenly felt that he had no breath and air was escaping his lungs. His face turning blue.
Jake struggled and spoke in a hoarse voice.
"I...gah...concede...gh"
Cuojue let go of Jake and disappeared before picking up her daggers.
Jake collapsed on his back exhausted.

"Well done young miss, you never cease to impress me. Your battle against Jake seems to have inspired the men. Thank you."
"Ehehe, this is nothing. But Jake is really strong, his reflexes are good and his skills are polished. I'm glad to have him work for us."
"Thank you young miss for giving praise. But as you can see, he still has a long way to go. He lost to you in a battle of wits and skill. But it was amazing you still held back."
Keane was curious about where the young miss learned such martial arts that he has never seen before and was a little surprised that she could use Qi in the star realm. Normally, you could only do so in the Qi gathering realm. But he really didn't care much.
"Well, I did only because he was holding back too. I wanted to see what more he could do."
However, she knew there were things Jake still held back.
Jake then propped himself up with his very sturdy spear and walked over to Cuojue. He then stopped 5 feet from her and knelt down and placed his spear in front of him.
Cuojue was curious about what he was doing.
"Miss Cuojue. Thank you for the spar. I have learned a lot and apologize for my laidback nature. You have widened my horizon and have shown me your abilities. I, Jake Kung of the Kun'rung family swear to serve Cuojue Huang of the Huang family."
Jake had thought carefully and now admired Cuojue. He now wished to serve a master like Cuojue. With her talent, he realized that she would indeed do great things in the future. More so learn about her martial arts. He has not seen Cuojue's martial arts before and wanted to see more of it.
Everyone was surprised, even Cuojue was stunned speechless. Just like the usual her, she regained her composure.
Cuojue without giving a thought accepted his oath. "Very well, I accept your oath, please put in all your effort to protect me and this household from now on and forever."
"Yes ma'am! I will serve to the best of my abilities!" Jake shouted to show his sincerity.
"HAHAHA! Miss Cuojue! You are amazing! You managed to have the next heir of the Kun'rung family to be your servant! HAHAHA!" Keane laughed loudly like a maniac.
Cuojue didn't understand what's so funny and asked Jake what the Kun'rung family was.
Jake replied with no emotion.
"The Kun'rung family is a wealthy family and also a family of warriors. We rival in the status of 3 clans, but we are considered a hidden family and not many people know about us, only those with great influence will know about the Kun'rung family. Our warriors were called Qijin Guardians due to our abilities similar to lightning. And I am the next heir to inherit the family."
Cuojue, who listened to all of that felt her soul leaving her body. 'What?! I...I messed up! I made the next heir of the Kun'rung family a servent?! Are we doomed?'
Cuojue snapped out of her dream and asked.
"Ahem ahem, um what about your inheritance? Aren't you heir to the clan?"
Jake heard her and spoke as if nothing mattered.
"I don't really care, my father and mother spoil me a lot so they won't mind me if I quit the inheritance. On the other hand, I'm glad that my second brother could now claim the inheritance since his dream was to be the next clan leader, so there won't be issues about me quitting the inheritance. Brother is capable so I don't feel worried about the well-being of the clan."
"Most of all I can relax and live a carefree life here while getting to serve a promising master."
And so his laidback attitude returned.
"Hahaha, don't worry, I know his parents and they aren't bad folks. In fact they are way too nice. The kid speaks the truth so you can relax." Keane spoke.
Hearing all of this, Cuojue relaxed and promised herself to research more on the people around her, lest she might make the same situation again. Now Cuojue was mentally exhausted and felt a headache for her tiresome future. She had to take care of a lazy heir. Cuojue decided to trust his words for now.
While they were chatting, the rest of the guards were enthusiastic and asked to spar, and Cuojue managed to decline them. All of them misunderstood that she had reached Qi gathering stage and they became too excited. She bid them her goodbye and strode off.
She went back to her room and picked up the recharged Pyun. It was now lively again and showed Cuojue the results of their business. Pyun had managed to earn 21 billion Ariz. If they keep up with this business, they might earn even more.
Cuojue wanted a breath of fresh air since it has been a few weeks since she left the large residence. She was in a good mood since she got to test her skills and that her martial arts finally broke through to Mind&Body.
She left the mansion with Pyun, walking in the lush and bluish forest, bluegrass, everything was blue. She went to visit Bluef City, the center of the bluish planet she lives on was called Quantine. It had conditions similar to earth but was mostly blue and therefore named Quantine. Moreover, it wasn't very far from the mansion which was 1Km away.
Bluef was a large city and if she had to mention how big it was, probably the size of 10 chinas that dated back on earth.
There were 5 districts, numbered 1 to 5. Districts 1 and 2 were residential areas and shops. District 3 was all the shopping malls and work buildings, District 4 was the red light district and District 5 is the military. District 5 faces the largest beast forest in Quantine.
Cuojue decided to visit district 3 and went to a blink station. She paid the attendant a few Ariz and stepped onto the glowing circle.
In an instant, she was in a blink station in district 3. People and humanoid aliens were roaming the streets, others calling for people to eat at their restaurants, food vendors, shopping malls selling the latest fashion trends of circlet dresses as well as brand new versions of brazes. Skyscrapers pierced through the skies.
All sorts of people, dressed both weirdly and normally, community spaces, cafes, large hollograms showing sports, news, or SC games. Cuojue's eyes sparkled and wanted to join in on such endless fun, after all she was rich now. But what could she do? She didn't have much of a hobby. She didn't understand the fashion trend of this era either. Food was her only past-time now.
Cuojue strung along with the bustling crowd. She checked each store slowly, well nothing much to see. All she had ever bought was cheese croquettes and crepes and she happened to have bought a mountain of them. Luckily she had an inventory to keep them warm, time seems to have stopped for anything she puts in her inventory. While enjoying a crispy, cheesy snack, Cuojue was walking around and saw a strange man wearing a fedora looking left and right before dashing into an alleyway.
Curious and up for an adventure, Cuojue went into stealth and killed her presence. Pyun followed in it's invisbilty mode.
