Edna sprang up to the buzzing noise of her phone the next day. She didn't think anyone would call her that early and she wondered what the person wanted.
Sluggishly, she stood up from the couch where she lay her blanket wrapped half way around her legs.
She landed her feet on the floor which seemed a bit sticky from the wine she spilled when she slept off. Luckily got her, her wine glass lay still on the floor like nothing had happened to it.
Edna had thought of many ways it would have brutally injured her if she had mistakenly stepped on it.
The phone had stopped buzzing now giving her more time to get over her hangover. She sat down back on the couch rubbing her face with both of her hands trying to rub off the after effect the alcohol caused her. She hadn't that much alcohol in her life.
maybe she was slowly becoming an alcoholic or maybe she was just too stressed, she lost control. She thought.
