Elena and Lumia were very angry with the brothers because not only did they abandon them, but they also caused this horrible situation.
Elena expressed her dislike for the elven brothers openly but Lumia just remained silent. It maybe because they are of the same race or some other reason.
Kaine also understood something because the brothers had said before with certainty that Arthur was the enemy of the girls, but now it didn't seem like that.
Lena started to tell what really happened, of course she didn't reveal her true identity. She is currently in her human form. The elven brothers didn't know the truth about her because they fled at the start. So no one pointed it out. Elena and Lumia also didn't expose them in front the adventurers.
Everyone heard the story and got angry at the brothers for running away and still saying that Arthur and Lena was the enemy when they clearly saved the girls.
Kaine didn't know what to do. She didn't like the brothers' shameful behavior, but she also didn't want to let Arthur torture them to death. She could only promise to report the guild, and they would punish the brothers accordingly.
The girls were very angry with the brothers, but they preferred the guild to punish them.
"Arthur, let's stop here. We should let the guild handle this matter."
Elena advised Arthur and Lena also showed her support to this.
"Okay, but I want them to apologise. Also, they have to escort us to the city safely too. I am still suspicious of them. Maybe they are hired to kill us. We can't let them out of our sight till we reached home."
The adventurers wanted to cry and scream. "You can't be serious!"
They could understand apologising but they have to safely escort them too. This is not what they were expecting. But they could only accept reluctantly.
Kaine sent some adventurers to pick up the elven brother and apply basic first aid to him. She would take them back to the guild, but she no longer knew how to report something like that...
Arthur looked at Kaine and spoke earnestly. "I have one last question. The archer did not willingly shoot the arrow. Someone gave the order. Who did? Why isn't he/she still apologising for being a bad commander"
Kaine couldn't help being afraid. "You promised me that you wouldn't hurt him!"
Arthur saw Kaine's concerned look and understood who she was talking about. "So the leader is your nephew?"
Kaine had several thoughts of ordering the entire group to attack Arthur, but she feared not only him but also their group, from their story she could make out that they were very vigilant and united at the moment because of the life and death situation they went through together so she wanted to avoid fighting them in their state of aggressiveness,"Please. Let us go, or it could end up bad for all of us..."
"There has to be a way for you not to hurt him. It was the elven brothers' fault, not ours."
Arthur was suddenly enlightened and came up with a weirdly good idea, so he tried a more causal tone while talking to Kaine. "If you go on a date with me, I can forget about it."
"Heeeeee?"
No one could take any more listening to the devil's follies. He's very insane, and Kaine just wanted to bang her head against a tree and wake up from this damn nightmare.
Even Lena, Elena and Lumia were dumbfounded with his demand. Their jaws dropped down to the ground from the shock of his weird request.
But Arthur still maintained his serious look with difficulty, waiting for her answer. Beneath his serious face, he was also sweating buckets because he knew how absurd his request is. Kaine knew she couldn't let this madness continue, and she had to promise to go on a date with the devil himself. "Okay...", so she complied.
Arthur became relaxed inwardly, but outwardly he clapped his hands excitedly as he changed his mood, making everyone want to vomit blood. "Excellent! So let's all go back to the city together!"
When everyone thought the nightmare was ending, Arthur quickly changed his mood and spoke in a severe tone. "Oh! I almost forgot. And the archer who shot the arrow at me?"
"WHAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
Some adventurers started to feel sick. Kaine had a headache. The archer began to cry in the middle of the group.
Elena and Lumia also felt like crying but they felt that way due to the scenario being too amusing to them.
Then Arthur started to laugh. "Hahahaha... It's a joke, guys."

Arthur convinced Kaine to travel together. The adventurers did not want to be close to that devil, but they also did not want to offend him, so they all followed in silence along the road.
Most adventurers walked ahead. Kaine was in the carriage with Arthur's group, talking to Elena and Lumia. Arthur and Lena also joined them. The responsibility of carriage driver was given to one of the adventurers.
Arthur used the adventurers group as his personal servant. For the first time, he felt like he could relax a bit.
Although the inside of the carriage wasn't huge, it was not too cramped for five people.
Arthur leaned his head on Lena's shoulder who sat right beside him. He was tired from being alert all the time.
As the group rode down the road, Elena realized that the landscape was changing around them. The road no longer passed through a forest but open fields.
When closer to the city, more streets connected to the main one. Arthur started to see many people coming from different paths. Some looked like adventurers with colorful and varied armor, small or large groups with several members of different races and equipment.
There were also several peasants and travelers. Ordinary people were carrying boxes of vegetables and herbs, others in large and small caravans with carts full of different kinds of stuff.
People talked and laughed as they animatedly walked towards the city on the street, which was now quite wide and made of cobblestones.
The adventurers who had witnessed Arthur's bloody show began to forget that unfortunate episode and talk about other things.
"Arthur, we are home."
Lena whispered in a low voice in his ears.
