Waking up from a restless sleep Laquetta got out of bed slowly and quietly. Taking care to not wake up the others as their rooms were on either side of her room; Laquetta looked outside and saw that the sun was just starting to rise.
Laquetta walked back to her bed where she asked the System how would she ensure the lives of Feng Mian and his younger brother as well as Lin XinYin. 'This is so much', Laquetta thought to herself, 'what can I do?'. Rubbing her face, Laquetta sighed and then grabbed her towel, then walked to the bathroom. Gently stripping down, she grabbed a few warming talismans and set them by the spring water that was somehow always present in the tub.
Settling herself into the tub in the early hours of the morning; Laquetta let herself relax and let her worries leave her mind.
[Time Skip]
Laquetta has been up for at least two hours now and there was an increase in activity in the rooms down her hallway, knowing that at least one of her friends would be awake she decided to go to Charlotte's room.
Robing herself and bundling herself up more warmly Laquetta headed over, the hallways were silent, a comfortable silence. Not an eerie one like the time she and her friends were in the forest, where the stillness was alarming and just as loud as anything.
That silence still unnerved Laquetta, it was something that a high-school girl from a different dimension would have never experienced. Shaking her head to get rid of her thoughts, Laquetta entered Charlotte's room.
Knocking gently on the door, Laquetta awaited a response.
Laquetta watched the sliding door open, she watched as Charlotte looked at her, then look around the corridor, dragging Laquetta into her room and hugged her tightly.
"Hey, hey," Laquetta patted Charlotte's back in surprise, "What's wrong? You can tell me."
"So-something came into my room last night and-and it..."
Laquetta watched with wide eyes at what she was hearing, she couldn't believe it, she wouldn't believe it. No one could be that cruel; Laquetta knew immediately who it was, grinding her teeth together, she stormed out into the hallway. The all-encompassing rage made her magic flare up, the magic in the air crackled around Laquetta. It was volatile, she was volatile.
The walls were slowly crumbling and the wallpaper came off, cracks forming, doors were flung open and Laquetta's eyes were glowing a bright brown hue.
Slowly advancing through the house, Laquetta wasn't thinking anymore, her instincts were in control, her magic was in control. The feeling of pure rage and protectiveness washed over her, and as she exited the house. She didn't know what was wrong with her, Laquetta didn't know how to stop or regain control.
The others watched with a wary gaze as they watched her summon a huge body of water in the air before they all separated in globules of water and some of them turned into thin shards, they whirled around almost as if it was a blizzard. Engulfing the sky.

"How have you still not found him?!" screeched the Empress, worried for her son's safety. Well, she wasn't worried about her son in the right way, she is worried that her only son is gone and the lady is worried about the other concubines targeting her and trying to get her off the throne or whip up a scheme to get the Emperor's favour away from her and she was not about to let some lowly whores kick her off the throne.
Gritting her teeth and clenching her fist her beautiful face twisted into a snarl so unbefitting that of an Empress that the servants that were in the room were shocked that their normally gracious and elegant Empress was pulling such a face.
