Long Yue walked out of the inn, he was slightly confused as he stood by the door. It was pouring, and there were extremely high winds; not fit for an outing today, Pulling his shat down further covering his face when some guards passed by. He greeted them with a bow, returning to his room. Guess it was just a reading day then, Long Yue thought.
"Young Master! Due to most guests not being able to go out because of the weather we are offering free meals for the whole day. And the duration of the weather."
Long Yue took his hat off, "Thank you. When will you be serving them?"
"Breakfast will be in a few moments, lunch will be at midday, we will call you down, and dinner will be at six. You will have a candle clock in your room."
"Thank you."
Long Yue stayed in his room, taking time for himself. Something he's never felt before and it was weird at first, when he was in the Palace he would normally be swarmed with duties and lessons that he needed to attend to. He had to make alliances and worry about his appearances. Long Yue has a hard time trying to be himself.
Looking at the blank paper and the brush, he slowly started writing. Writing a poem that described his woes and the sorrow and grief that he had felt when confined. Long Yue knew that his mum tried her best, he wanted to be content with what she had done for him but sometimes he just can't help but be bitter. Taking a breath, he knew that dwelling on the past will do no good. Focusing on the work in front of him.
Just as he was about to start a knock sounded at the door.
"Breakfast is ready Young Master, it is placed outside."
"Thank you very much."
He watched the shadow disappear before he went to retrieve his food.
When Long Yue settled down again, he was finally able to sort out his emotions now.

Laquetta was still fuming. Although Charlotte had told her not to do anything about it, Charlotte knew that nothing would be able to stop her friends once Laquetta knew.
She didn't know there was someone following them. Who would go in and try to violate her friend?

Long Yue walked through the crowd, shivering slightly in the cold, it was something that he was not used to, he would normally be wearing the best of the best, meaning that he would be very sheltered and would know nothing much about the life of a normal person. As he walked he could only think of the comfort of his own home, within the palace, when his people were living in deplorable conditions.
It seemed that the living conditions here were much higher than that of his empire. He thought it was quite pathetic. Long Yue wanted to be much better than his father at the ruling. But it would be hard, he would have to survive long enough to even get on the throne.
He kept walking forward, eyes set with determination.
