Samuel, Lewis, Toby and Vincent couldn't believe they were in positions of power when they were transported into the world, they had found out that their characters were originally rivals in everything they did; it was so pitiful listening to the System explaining how they all eventually died because of mishaps and accidents which could have easily been avoided if they had gotten over their egos and just talked.
So it was a shock to outsiders how the four were getting along now, they were in the same army under Emperor Li Jun, there were four factions within the Imperial Army and they were the head of each four; they focused on making the soldiers co-operate more and be more in tune with the other factions as they made an impenetrable army. The four factions were represented by four different elements; fire, water, air, lightning. They all had their unique styles of fighting, much like the many different cultivation sects littered across the country, but the Main Four focused on defence, offence, tactics and weaponry.
The Zhang Faction specialises in harnessing fire and focuses on defence, Samuel was the head of this faction.
The Liu Faction specialises in harnessing water and focuses on offence, Lewis was the head of this faction.
The Chen Faction specialises in harnessing the air and focuses on tactics, Toby was the head of this faction.
The Yang Faction specialises in harnessing lightning and focuses on weaponry, Vincent was the head of this faction.
