I stand in the bathroom and listen to how Luke and Dr. Richardson are talking to each other. I am glad that they are starting to sort things out about his operation but then the strangest thing happened to me. I can not seem to walk out of this bathroom into the room.
All of a sudden I am filled with fear that this operation might not work. I do not know why I am nervous at all because this operation is probably one of the easiest operations in heart surgery. I do not understand why I am acting this way.
I am a cardiothoracic surgeon there is nothing that I should be afraid of when I know exactly what procedure will entail. I think I would have just had this feeling if it was a very complicated surgery but it isn't. I try again to open the door and walk into the room but my hand refuses to open the door.
