I am walking out the door as I know that there is just no chance that she will go for a guy like me. I have too many hang-ups that she would not want in her life. She works with sick people every day why would she come home to one.
I stand outside the emergency room and my heart feels heavy with sorrow. Then I look up in the sky as it starts to snow. How is it possible that the weather is playing along with my mood? I know that I better get out of here before it gets too cold.
Because if I get a cold I'm just proving my own point. I will become even weaker if I get sick. I am just about to walk to my car when someone walks through the doors.

I get to the doctor's office and look at his files. I share with him my opinions and how I think he should proceed with this patient. He thanks me for my time and then I make my way back to the reception. As I walk into the reception I can not believe my eyes.
