The team looked at the man and the group who stopped them from proceeding.
"Alyssa? What should we do?" Jericho asked.
"Let me handle this!" Alyssa stood up and walked out of the carriage as the beast that Sheele turned into collapse and turned back to its squishy slimy form.
"Let me clarify one thing, are you extorting us?" Alyssa asked and looked at the man and his friends.
"I know that you came from outside the City, we can protect you here since we belong to the Sky Chasers, and treat it as the payment for a protection!" The man arrogantly told Alyssa as the rest of the people beside him laughed.
"Oh! Sure, we'll pay for that! Now, pull our carriage since you scared away the beast that was pulling it before!" Alyssa sarcastically replied as she pointed towards the shaft of the carriage.
