Chapter 32 - Team Battle Training (3)

Cyrius talked to the teammates who finished fighting against Chisa.

"Is she really that hard to fight with?" Cyrius asked towards them.

"If you think that she isn't that strong, then I will feel like I'm so useless!" Archie smiled sadly as he looked towards the team.

"Don't be discouraged, Archie! Just apply what she said to you and you will improve, like me! I was beaten too so don't feel sad!" Kyle encouraged Archie and he gained confidence for himself because of that.

After resting for an hour, Chisa stood up and walked towards the opposite side of the room.

"Let's start this fight!" Chisa smiled as Alyssa smiled back.

They rushed towards each other as they summoned fireballs hitting against each other.

"Oh! The Saint of Fire is a Hellfire user! This is going to be exciting! Give me all you got Saintess!" Chisa smiled.

"I will!" Alyssa responded with a smile.

Alyssa summoned a dark fiery red sword and rushed towards Chisa and the lady summoned a fiery Warhammer to clash against the younger lady.

They attacked and counter-attacked each other, dodge and defend.

They looked like two fiery phoenixes dancing around the room as if they are playing with fire.

"This is fun! I love this spar!" Chisa giggled softly as she rushed towards Alyssa who was also smiling as she already wields dual fiery swords.

They clashed as sparks flew all over the room as it made flashing lights that look so beautiful and magical.

"This is the exact view to describe 'Magical!'. They fought beautifully!" Julianne exclaimed as her eyes sparkled with delight.

The team watched as they were mesmerized by the view before them.

An hour passed and the two fiery auras died down as the two ladies fighting, faced each other and shake hands.

"This is a great fight! You're great!" Chisa commended Alyssa.

"It is an honor receiving compliments coming from you Lady Chisa!" Alyssa smiled as they walked back to the other teammates.

"I guess it's my turn to spar now." Luis stood up and stretched.

"Wait! Can I have a turn? I was inspired by how they fight and I want to try it too!" A voice suddenly rang behind them and it came from the spectator of the group.

They looked towards him as a look of surprise emerged from their faces except for Luis, Alyssa, and Chisa who expected that this will happen sooner.

"Okay, I'll give you a chance!" Chisa smiled as she stepped back on her position.

Cyrius stepped out as his body flickered in and out of existence.

A sign that the surrounding space was manipulated by him.

Chisa made a fiery domain as she emitted a fiery aura detecting her surroundings. When she felt that something's not right, she will blast a fireball towards the area and a body flew out from that area, it was Cyrius.

She rushed towards the body but it disappear mid-air and he teleported towards the back of Chisa as he sent a kick but Chisa already detected it as she grabbed the man's ankle and slammed him to the ground.

The man winced from the pain as he was thrown away and received fiery kick mid-air before he hit the wall.

Chisa approached the man as she looked at him intently.

She fed Cyrius a pill as she intently looked at the young man.

"I think I didn't see you in the other Schools? Are you a student of the General Studies?" Chisa asked.

"Yes, I am from General Studies, I tried to apply at the School of Production but I didn't pass because I only have Short Teleportation Skills which can't be made into an artifact that can benefit people." Cyrius sadly explained as he looked down to the ground.

"I was about to ask you to join their team because you can be a great scout, you can conceal your presence and quickly leave if danger is approaching, you can also be a great movement support for a large battle, but you need to be enrolled in one of the Schools to be able to enter a team." Chisa pointed out as she suggested towards Cyrius.

"I don't know what to do? I was used in working for Feather Express and I don't know if I can create an artifact so I can enter the School of Production." Cyrius sadly responded.

"I guess they can help you!" Chisa smiled as she pointed out towards the team who was training at one side of the room. Cyrius nodded as he returned towards his place to observe the last spar that will happen this day.

"It's your turn now Luis! Step out!" Chisa ordered as Luis stood up and walked towards the lady he was about to fight. "Give me a good fight young man, I'm expecting more towards the only apprentice of Mufar!" She smiled as she prepared herself.

"Yes, Lady Chisa! I won't disappoint you!" Luis swore as his fist has the color of white on his left hand and a brownish aura on his right hand.

He cast a buff spell towards himself as he swiftly hovered from the ground. "Prepare yourself Lady Chisa!" Luis warned as he rushed towards Chisa.

"Earth Manipulation: Mud-Slap!" Luis chanted as a large hand made of mud smacked towards the place where the lady was but she dodged sideways and when she did, she hit a wall in the process.

"Earth Manipulation: Earth Wall! Earth Thread: Vine Grip!" And vines crept from the wall as it held the lady in the place. "Light Skill: Light Rod!" A long rod of light appeared on his hand as he smacked it towards the tied lady.

"Compressed Fire: Heat Blast!" Chisa chanted as the vines burned out and a strong blast of heatwave pushed Luis back that made him lose his momentum.

"Very aggressive, Luis! I like it!" Chisa commended.

"Fire Weapon: Fiery Warhammer!" Chisa chanted as the same Warhammer appeared from her hands.

"Terran Weapon: Earth Saber!" A solid glistening saber appeared from the young man's hand as he sliced it towards the lady but Chisa blocked it using the body of the Warhammer.

They exchanged a few moves before they stepped back and continued to exchange magic spells.

Luis alternately use Earth Skills and Light Skills, he even tried to blind Chisa with Blinding Light but it didn't affect her as she closed her eyes before the light reached her.

Chisa threw tons of fireballs towards the young man but he blocked it with pillars that he summoned and every time a fireball destroyed a pillar, Luis will flick the fragments of the pillars towards Chisa hiding their trajectories with the Light Wall he made which gave Chisa a hard time to dodge the fragments that flew like bullets towards her.

She received a dozen or so fragments but she dodged most of them.

She summoned a large fireball that destroyed the light wall but the shards of light unpredictably flew towards Chisa. "As expected from an Alchemist. Very resourceful indeed!" Chisa amused as blood trailed from her mouth from all the injuries she received from the young man. "I think it's time to level up the difficulty of this battle!" She grinned as she released 15% of her power.

Her speed became quick as she rushed towards the young man, she punched hard but an earth wall emerged, it didn't falter the attack as the wall was destroyed but behind the wall was another barrier made of light but it was also shattered and a young man appeared behind the barriers but the young man smirked when he looked at Chisa.

The lady was confused as he felt that something grabbed both her ankles and made her lose her momentum.Luis received the punch because he can't already dodge it but he successfully made the power behind this punch lose as he didn't receive the full power of the attack of the lady.

"Commendable! You didn't fail my impression of you young man!" Chisa smiled as she wiped the blood from her lips.

"I admit defeat! It's obvious that I lost from the fight against you even though I already used 15% of my power." She surrendered as she took a sit and consumed a pill, but because her power is higher than the grade of the pill, it was negligible.

"Take this Lady Chisa!" Luis handed a bright green pill towards Chisa.

The pill is a Grade 5 Recovery Pill that he made while they were fighting.

"Thank you, young man! I need this pill and some rest so I'm ready for the next fight." Chisa thanked as she swallowed the pill. It immediately took effect as her injuries fade away.

"I'll go first and will prepare a dinner for all of us!" Luis bade as he left the room. "Wait for me I'll help!" Alyssa exclaimed as she rushed behind Luis.

"Me too!" Julianne followed.

"Don't forget about me!" Serion ran too. The other members go out of the Training Room and gathered in the Living Room as they talk about how to improve their skills and Cyrius also asked the Production Students what artifact can he make from the energy he has.

They gladly assisted them with some ideas and the four who went to the kitchen started to prepare the dinner for the whole team, but Serion's only job is to taste their dishes which made the young man elated.

After an hour or so, the team ate dinner together with Chisa and Cyrius.

While eating, the group brainstormed on what artifact can Cyrius make to qualify him to enroll at the School of Production.

"You have Short Teleportation Skills right? How far can your teleportation skill take effect?" Luis asked.

"I guess it's around 200m radii," Cyrius answered.

"Why not make an Escape Artifact?" Rex suggested.

"There are a lot of escape artifacts around, isn't that a bit common?" Julianne doubted.

"No, it isn't, if the purpose of that artifact is to avoid or dodge immediate danger like spell trajectories or trap areas?" Rex exclaimed.

"Yes! A Danger Escape Disc! They can activate it to teleport a short distance away without leaving the battlefield!" Kyle exclaimed.

"But isn't it better to make it into an accessory? If in case that you dropped the disc, isn't it useless already as you can't activate it? But if you wore the artifact, at least you can flexibly move around without worrying that your escape item won't get lost?" Alyssa suggested.

The group silently agreed as a look of enlightenment emerged from Cyrius eyes. The team ate dinner and took a small rest before preparing themselves from the battle awaiting for them.
