Chapter 59 - Sky Chasers at the Palace

The Elephant-like beast landed at the wide space inside the perimeters of the palace. A group of people riding the beast jumped down and landed on the concrete floor with intricate design and from the distance, one can saw the tall majestic buildings. Different kinds of the beast are being taken care of by the caretakers.

When the team entered the palace, they can see different people wearing elegant clothes while looking at them with an expression that looks like they are being despised.

From a distance, they saw a familiar silhouette talking to a man dressed formally, not too elegant nor too common.

"Luis!" Alyssa exclaimed as they all rushed towards Luis and hugged him.

"What are you doing guys?" Luis asked.

"We're sorry for what we did the past few days!" Alyssa apologized.

"I'm sorry for calling you selfish, Luis. Please, forgive me!" Julianne apologized as she cried.

"That's alright, I also realized my mistakes for not consulting you about my decisions, I also have my fault there." Luis consoled as he hugged them back.

"Looks like your famiglia is here now!" Marquis Anthony said.

"Guys, this is Marquis Anthony, he is a friend of my master. Marquis Anthony, my family!" Luis introduced.

"A pleasure to meet you all!" Marquis greeted them.

"We are pleasured to meet you too, Marquis Anthony!" Alyssa greeted and everyone nodded to her in response.

"I'll inform his majesty about your arrival, I'll leave you now since I know you have a lot to talk about!" Marquis Anthony excused himself as he left Luis and the Sky Chasers.

"Look at them! The commoner brought more commoners here!" A descendant told the other.

"They looked disgusting! They have no taste!" Another descendant spoke while playing with the pitch of his voice.

"If I were you, I wouldn't mess with those people!" The ten-year-old kid said while eating a cold treat.

"So what stupid kid? They don't belong here so I don't care who they are!" The descendant with a different voice replied to the kid.

"Well, I will also not care if you offended the Vermillion, Menazee, and Arion Clans!" The kid replied and left them heading towards Luis's group.

"I don't care if they belong to some stupid clans! They all reeked with the stench of disgusting creatures!" The descendant who played with his voice exclaimed.

"Yeah! They are just some useless piece of crap who hides behind their clan's name! They are as useless as their families!" The descendant who has a different voice shouted.

The kid looked at them and gestured with his index finger waving back and forth signifying that they did wrong and he changed it into his thumb sliding across his neck signifying that they are dead.

The Sky Chasers looked at them together as a surge of aura erupted and manifested into a gigantic wolf glaring at them. The descendants were scared shitless as some of them even pissed on their pants.

"Guys, that's enough! People who are degrading others are worst than them thinking that they are aloof and not some people who are scared because someone might surpass them!" Luis stopped the Sky Chasers as the wolf slowly faded.

A loud clap rang inside the hall as a man with a middle-aged look appeared behind the Sky Chasers.

"What a good show to watch!" The man spoke still clapping slowly.

"Greetings, your majesty!" Luis bowed.

"Greetings, your majesty!" The Sky Chasers repeated and bowed.

"Your majesty!" The descendants exclaimed as they all bowed.

"You may all go now and changed your pants!" The king stated as he looked at the descendants still quivering from fear and embarrassment.

"But your majesty! They threatened us!" The descendant who has the playful voice exclaimed.

"Don't embarrass yourselves any further, go now!" A lady appeared behind the king and spoke to the descendants.

"Good afternoon, your highness!" Luis greeted the princess.

The princess nodded to him as she looked at the people together with him.

"Your famiglia?" Agnes asked.

"Greetings, your highness! Before we forget, we brought you a present for your day! We're sorry if it's late!" Serion greeted as he gave a thing wrapped in thick cloth which was delicately decorated.

"Thank you! Such a nice wrapping, probably a nice gift is also hidden!" The princess replied as she carefully opened the cloth so that the decorations won't be damaged.

As soon as she opened the wrapping, a glossy thing appeared with a bright blue stone attached at the center and an intricate design was made with fine enchantment runes engraved on it.

"What is this?" Luis asked?

"That's a tiara, your highness! We made it customized just for you! We asked Vice Dean Mufar about you. That Tiara was made with Memory Stone mixed with Depot Stone and we engrave it with Storing Enchantments so the king can store energy in it to keep you safe and ensured." Serion explained.

The princess wore the tiara after she heard his explanation and she felt a different sensation as if at any moment, she can see her memories hidden within her mind.

The king felt that something was wrong and when he looked at her, he saw the elation on her face.

"I guess the princess liked your gift so much!" The king smiled at them.

"Thank you for the compliment, your majesty!" Serion bowed.

"Come, let's go to my chamber and talk there!" The king invited them as he leads them towards a hall and into a room that is wide enough to accommodate a thousand people.

A single table was placed at a side as twelve chairs were placed around it. Everyone sat on the chairs and the king sat at the centermost one.

"So, I already informed Luis about this and he already gave his answer." The king started as he seriously looked among them.

"What is it that you even called all of us here?" Alyssa asked.

"This concerns the peace and safety of the kingdom, but it can also affect your lives." The king replied.

"Is it that dangerous?" Serion asked.

"I can't assure you that it's dangerous, but I can't also assure you that it's safe." The king replied.

"Okay, we understand, mind to explain to us what is needed to be done?" Jay asked.

The king and Luis explained the situation together and the information was given as detailed as possible so that the Sky Chasers can understand the situation clearly.

Luis even showed his theories and deductions from his past investigation on Eristreas and Armeton.

The whole Sky Chasers listened closely and as time passes by, their expressions became more serious and some of them are thinking about something.

After the king and Luis finished explaining the things to them, the whole team was silent for a moment.

Serion broke the silence, "What is Luis's decision about this?"

"You guess?" Luis replied.

"I believe he accepted it," Alyssa said as if she was sure.

"We want to know what are your decisions about this?" The king asked.

"I'll go with Luis's decision! I won't let my best friend do this alone!" Serion firmly answered.

"If one goes, we all go! That's how Sky Chasers Famiglia works!" Alyssa responded and everyone nodded their heads.

"Are you all sure? We can't guarantee your safety in there?" The king asked again.

"We're going there anyway so, a mission, while we're there, can give us a goal rather than wander aimlessly, right?" Jay replied.

"Then it's settled! Sky Chasers will accept this mission!" Luis firmly looked at the king.

"Thank you, young people! If this succeeds, I can guarantee you a reward worth of this mission!" The king promised.

The Sky Chasers nodded towards the king and the king smiled back at them.

"I will give you the privilege to have a discount on everything they sell around the city. Roam as much as you like!" The king smiled and disappeared from the room.

"So, the king has a Space Energy like me," Cyrius muttered which was heard by the whole team.

"Let's get shopping everyone!" Archie exclaimed and they all left the palace and roamed Springfield City.

----------

"You all failed our attempts!" The man in black robes shouted.

"Young master, someone found the last kind of Crimson Bubble Blister Fishes. We thought that the Ancestor already made all of them extinct!" A man with a hooded robe and a Witch Doctor mask explained.

"I give my praises to Gildore, but you all failed to continue his work!" The black-robed young master exclaimed.

"You all failed me! First, the Earthern Shrine was lost, next, you failed to kill a kid, third, you didn't succeed in spreading a plague to weaken the Spring Kingdom! The only good thing that happened is because of Gildore!" The young master angrily said as he bashed the table beside him which was torn into pieces.

"Gildore! You will lead people to enter Maix's Realm. Try to find every inheritance left by our Ancestors and if ever some of them are alive, make a contact with them." The black-robed young master instructed.

"Your orders will be fulfilled, young master!" A knight with glossy pitch-black armor bowed as he walked out of the room.

"One day, we, Descendants of Chaos will rule the whole Sacred Domain and we will start here at the Spring Kingdom." The young master muttered while smiling creepily.
