Aeklis wasn't the least bit disappointed with his treatment. She didn't care if he wasn't happy. She was confident that she can make him happy someday.
"Hey, I have found that there's a barrier around the café that you are working at."
"What barrier?" Jacob deadpanned while driving the car towards his apartment.
"Uhm. For us demons, there's a barrier that we can't get inside no matter what we do. Sometimes, it could be from a spiritual device or from an incantation. Do you know about this?"
"And what makes you think that I know something about that silly things?"
