Chapter 42 - Too Rude Not To Be Friends

How did it end up this way? For the 4th time in as many minutes, I sighed. Seated next to me, her face twisted in consternation, was Rhea. Across from us were 3 girls, all Rhea's age, each looked guilty. Although, 1 looked less guilty than the other 2.

For the 12th time, Rhea asked the same question. "What were you thinking?"

For the 12th time, Sierra responded with, "We're sorry."

This was getting us nowhere. Honestly, I wasn't even that upset that they wanted to peep on us. They were curious. A part of me gets that, I guess. And I felt like Rhea, with her dirty little mind, must understand where they were coming from too. Then why was she so angry?

"Look. How about we call it quits here, baby? They seem sorry, and there was no harm done. Right?" I tried to soothe Rhea's feelings by calling her a pet name.

"B-baby?!" Apparently, it worked. Her eyebrows loosened and her face was lit by a sweet smile.

Since we left the room, I've had to listen to her yelling at her friends. While her friends basically told her that if she hadn't had such a big mouth, they wouldn't have been curious. If I'm being honest, I thought Rhea was in the right. But I quickly learned that none of that mattered as their ridiculous arguments only got worse until they were scarcely looking at each other.

It was such a stupid thing to fight about. But there you have it.

At least Leinani was there to keep them all in check. I don't think they would've come to blows or anything. But it's better to not risk it.

"Listen, I don't want to get in the way of your friendship. You are obviously close enough to fight about things in such a ruthless and passionate way." You only fight like they did when you are the worst of enemies or the best of friends. I knew it was the latter.

Leinani raised her hand, "You're not getting in the way, Kyah. Don't worry." She glanced at Rhea and smiled. "I ordered some pizza. Hungry?"

I was flabbergasted. Was she serious? I know they're close and all, but was she really going to breeze over this situation with freaking pizza!

"Oh! I love you, Leinani! I'm starving!"

What in the actual fuck?!

I couldn't help but stare at Rhea, who was now standing up with stars in her eyes. Was…was this all just a hunger-induced rage?

...

Several minutes later...

"Oh my God. Kyah made me cum so hard that I thought I was dying. You guys wouldn't believe it. She was playing with me all through the movie. I was super horny. You have no idea. I'm starving. I haven't eaten anything since lunch."

"Uh…umm…" I sat there looking at Rhea as she started gushing, unreserved, about our afternoon and the sex we'd just had. It was like she'd learned nothing.

I swear. Sometimes she seemed like she had her shit together, and then there were times like this. She really was a freaking airhead!

"Kyah! Come on! Let's eat and watch a movie with everyone. Please!" Her smile was so large and innocent that it was impossible for me to tell her no.

Well, she was a bit of an airhead. But she was an adorable one. So, it was okay, I guess.

While we ate our food, Rhea, Simone and Sierra were going back and forth about different sex topics. Too many of the things they discussed revolved around me. With how freely Rhea was sharing intimate details about our sex life, I was glad that I didn't whip it out in front of her like I planned to do.

I couldn't imagine the devastation that would occur if all of her friends knew about my unique physique.

I'd probably find myself on the shortlist to appear in my very own news special. I could imagine the headlines. Futanari Freak of the Midwest! Or Chicks with Dicks and Where You Can Find Them!

Rhea had zero filter. I'd really dodged a bullet with that one.

"I'm glad she met you."

I was eating pizza and listening to the ridiculousness coming out of the 3 girls' mouths when Leinani appeared next to me.

"Yeah? I'm glad I met her, too."

She smiled. "I know Rhea can be an idiot sometimes. But it's only because she has such a big heart. She's too trusting. That's why we spend half of our time trying to protect her from herself."

"I can see that. She is the type that jumps into the water without checking its depth."

She laughed, "Yeah. She's dived in headfirst too many times to count! Still, I know that you haven't known her for long, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. But she really does like you."

"I like her, too."

"Good. I'm glad."

I was sort of expecting Leinani to corner me and say something cliché, like don't date my friend, or I'm secretly in love with her. But she didn't. She pulled me aside to let me know that Rhea's heart was in the right place. For some reason, that small action struck me deep in my heart.

I glanced at Leinani. She was pretty in an exotic sort of way. But that beauty didn't hold a candle from what was inside of her. She truly had a great heart. I wondered how different my life would've been had I met a friend like her all those years ago.

I don't know if it was just normal intuition, or if my newfound vessel-hood had a role in it, but I felt like the depth of her soul ran deep. She was a genuine and decent human being. Her type was quite rare. At least, in my life, they were.

"You're pretty close. Got any stories you want to share?"

"Don't you dare!" It was at that moment when Rhea decided to rejoin me. She overheard my request and quickly shot between the two of us. Leinani laughed.

"Stories? About Rhea? I've got a million of them. How much time you got?"

I smiled. "I've got all night. Please regale me with all the details."

"No, girls. Please don't!" Rhea looked desperate. That only made me more interested.

"Are we telling stories about Rhea? I've got a few." Simone couldn't help but join in.

Sierra was more than happy to pile on, too. "Oh! I've got a good one."

Simone's eye lit up. "Remember that time she almost got frostbite on her cootch?"

"Oh! I remember that. We were at that ski lodge in Vermont, and she lost her bottoms when they got pulled off by that branch? She was going commando that day, too! She had to ski down half the mountain with no pants on. Heh! That was hilarious."

"Sieeeerrrrrraaaaaaaaaaa!" Rhea moaned in humiliation, then commenced to bury her face into her hands. She knew there was no getting away from what was going to happen. All she could do was bear it.

But if the gems were going to be as good as that first one, I was in for one hell of a fun night.

I won't go into too many details about what I was told. Suffice to say, by the end of it, I felt like if I had shown Rhea my futa-parts, even if she told the entire world, I wouldn't be half as embarrassed as she was.

The next morning, I awoke early. I'd slept in Rhea and Leinani's room. No funny business happened. I stayed up late listening to all of the Rhea-stories. By the time we were ready to sleep, poor Rhea was so devastated that all I could do was snuggle her as she apologized about her younger (but a lot less younger than you'd expect) days.

I left with a promise to see Rhea soon. We didn't form any solid plans. But I sort of figured she would probably pop in several times in the coming days. But I was sure I had a pass today. She could hardly face me after too many of her secrets were spilled last night.

It was early and surprisingly chilly for this time of year. I walked past a flyer espousing on the merits of the senior class. It was full of sickeningly naïve prose regarding our future accomplishments and whatnot. At the bottom was the mass copied signature of Crystal VanMeter, the President of the student council.

I rolled my eyes and kept walking. If even a tenth of the verbiage on that flyer was to be believed, then Crystal had some dewy-eyed expectations of all of our futures. Of course, that wasn't the case. It was simply expected.

I knew enough about that Ice Queen to know that her blood didn't flow warm. She was as cold as they came.

The only thing that gave me cause to think was one of the last lines.

"Prom, huh? I guess even an all-girls school has those."

Prom was coming up, but it wasn't really anything I had to care about. It wasn't like I planned to go anyway. Even if I did, I'd just sit in the corner and avoid everyone. I can do that perfectly well at home.

I didn't have much to do for the rest of the day. I decided to get some laundry done and clean my room. Pretty normal stuff for a holy vessel, right? Well, what can I say? A girl needs clean panties.

As soon as the last load was folded and put away, there was a soft knock at my door.

Knock! Knock!

That's strange. I wonder who it could be.
