Being part of the riddle family, doesn't only make people judge me based on my father, but gives people a reason to fear me. Unlike my father I'm more advanced in the magic industry, meaning I'm more powerful than him I suppose.
I'm not the only teenager that's forced to have this identify glued onto me because of my family, oh no. There's so many other people that parents work for my father and they're feared because of it. For example, there's draco, draco malfoy. You probably know him to be the bad guy of the series, but deep inside is just a broken boy who needs saving. Draco tries so hard to make his father happy, by pretending to be someone he's not, but that doesn't even satisfy his father, even though me and draco despise eachother nobody knows him like I do.
"catalina, would you mind taking a seat, dear?" Voldemort said being his dramatic self as usual. "yes, father" I sat down and folded my arms as I looked at everyone with flesh eating eyes. "now, draco and catalina" voldemort looked at us both waving his wand around "I have some news to share with you both"
"we.." Lucius coughed, interrupting him. "ah, yes... Indeed." Voldemort paused for a while staring at Lucius. "We..have something to share with you both". I sat up interested about what's about to be revealed. "you both will be attending hogwarts, but for a special reason" he'd point out before I had the chance to snap "since none of us can attend, you two have to help us out with this"
"and what is that?" Draco finally spoke, he looked up at his father who replied "we need you to find the boy" Lucius nodded, Draco seemed to know who they were talking about, me however, did not "what boy?" I'd ask and suddenly everyone stared at me as if I was insane.. "it is okay, I haven't spoken to her about it yet" father said.
"I suppose right now would be the perfect time to explain myself".
My father looked at me intensely. "my hatred started when I first attended hogwarts on my first year, the very first time I looked upon my peers, immediate hate overthrew me. Of course I was sorted onto slitherin, but the only problem with that is how us slitherins were treated back in the day. We were harrased in the hallways, mocked and teased and they wonder why people who ended up in slitherin willingly joined the dark side when offered revenge and power. I started some sort of organisation, let's say, but there was one couple that wouldn't join me, their names were James Potter and Lily Potter. They had a child, a child called Harry, Harry Potter. I decided, being me of course to go their and kill the potters, but no. Harry's mother cared for him so much it was impossible for me to even lay a finger on him, his parents unfortunately died with my name written allover it, but of course I knew, Harry Potter survived this and is now known as the boy who lived. You must know I intend to finish what I started.". The clock struck midnight and everyone exept me and draco stayed put, everyone else got up and left.
The next day I woke up and rubbed my eyes, I slipped my feet out putting them into my black slippers. I got out of bed and wrapped myself with my black robe with green snakes to tie it with, a sudden knock on my door surprised me "come in" I said, but to my suprise someone I really didn't want to see entered my room "oh look, a great way to start my day" I grunted turning away to sit on my chair, I brushed my hair looking at myself in the mirror as Draco approached me. "here let me help" he'd take the brush gently and started to comb my hair "oh, uh thank you" I blushed a little but the feeling of rivalry soon helped itself back into my system. "what brings you here, Mr. malfoy?" I'd question him as he smiled at the name I gave him "Mr.malfoy, huh?" he chuckled and soon sighed "we're in a mission together, so I thought we should atleast get along so we don't mess this up." he'd say hesitantly, but I could tell he meant it "Draco.."
"I got you a gift" he'd interrupt still smiling whilst decorating my hair with green snake pins. He made my long brown into two French plats which had green streaks in. "oh, you did? Draco.. I- that's so nice of you.." I blushed again and smiled a little, he reached something out his pockets, a big black jelwery box was in his hands, I looked into the mirror to notice he was holding it, he opened the box to my suprise a necklace. A silver necklace with a green jewel attached to it. "oh my god... That's so beautiful, draco how-"
"I bought it for my ex girlfriend before she left me.." he sighed inspecting it carefully, eventually tears dropped from one of his eyes, I don't know what happened but I stood up wiping his tear away "Draco, if this necklace causes you pain just looking at it then there's no point in giving it to me as a gift, yes we may hate eachother but I can't stand to see people cry." I said still wiping the overflowing tears that fell from his face. "turn around" he spoke shakingly, I nodded and turned around as he moved my hair out the way placing the necklace onto me. The feel of his hands touching my neck felt.. Nice, I suppose. "you can look in the mirror now" he spoke again, so I did. The necklace was gorgeous. "it goes with your eyes" he complemented, putting a smile on my face, I couldn't thank him enough so all I could do was turn around and hug him, so I did. He jumped a little at the fact I hugged him, I don't even hug my own father so this feeling of warmth and security was new to me, but one thing I could attract from Draco, was pain.
