Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

POV: Jace

It was a Sunday morning, the day my parents were coming back. I'm so glad I didn't get to follow them.

It's not like I don't like Grandpa Max but he's too old and nosey. For some reason he always brings me out for my mistakes and treat me like shit.

I was lying upside down on my bed, with my legs resting against the wall, scrolling through my Instagram feed when I got a notification that someone wants to follow me and send me a message.

I decided to check through his page for any pictures. But there were just pictures of flowers.

Thinking the person was into flowers and photography I followed the person back.

I put my phone on the bed deciding that I have had enough phone time.

"..."

I changed my position while groaning because I was so bored and there was nothing to do.

DING DONG.

I heard the doorbell ring. I got down from my bed and rushed down to get the door.

I opened the the door and I was splashed with ice cold water from a water gun. I gasped as it made impact with my face and hair.

"What the heck?!" I looked up to see Alan smirking at me. Enjoying every second of me shivering.

"I told you I'd get you back." I glared at him which only made him to laugh. "Stop glaring.... You look like a stray cat in the rain." He choked out in between laughs.

I scoffed and tried to close the door but he put his leg stopping the door from closing.

I left the door opened for him to come inside while I went upstairs to clean up.

Now I'm actually regretting what I did to him.

I got a towel and used it to dry my face and hair. After drying my hair I went to closet to get a shirt.

As I was pulling my shirt on, I heard a wolf whistle from behind me. I turned around and saw Alan staring at me with so much intensity.

I quickly put on my shirt, and that seemed to snap him out of his daze.

He looked up to me  trying to hide a smile but he failed bursting into fits of laughter clutching his stomach.

I looked at him confused. One minute he was eyeing me the next he was laughing like a wind shield wiper.

I had only one word for him.

Weirdo.

I waved him off and brushed past him trying to get downstairs,

he was still laughing like an idiot.

I went down the stairs and headed towards the kitchen, but I noticed that the door was opened.

"The fool didn't even bother to close the door." I mumbled to myself grumpily reaching for the door handle.

BANG!

Suddenly the door barged into my face making me fall hard on my butt. I groaned as I rub my nose.

Who the hell would barge into my house? Who gave them the odacity?

I looked up to see Andrew smiling goofily down at me while offering me a hand.

I smacked his hand away muttering incoherent words.

"Next time watch how you opened the door! You could've broken my nose you pice of poop!" I yelled at him while smacking him upside his head multiple times.

He yelped covering his head and scurrying away. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." He said. "Well next time you'd learn how to open a door gently!" I yelled again.

"Hey. What's all the commotion?" Alan asked while coming with an .. oversized .. hoodie .. I squinted my eye.

"Hey! That's my hoodie!" I yelled at him. I've been doing that a lot yelling today.

He just stared at me. "What's up with your nose?" He asked. My hand unconsciously went to my nose and I felt a warm liquid on my hand, I looked at my hand and saw blood, my eyes widened.

"What heck dude!" I screeched running towards the downstair bathroom.

I checked my nose in the mirror and let out a cry. "Nooo~." I pulled out a rag and wet it with water before using it to clean my nose.

After cleaning my nose i went back to the kitchen with a tissue paper holding my nose to stop the flow of blood.

Andrew and Alan shot me an apologetic look. I just scoffed and went into the kitchen to grab an apple and sat back down on the couch beside Andrew and Alan.

I didn't even spare them a glance as I reached over to the table to get the remote.

I put on the tv and put it in a random channel. I could still feel their apologetic gazes on me but i paid no attention to them.

Andrew stood up from his position to straddle me. I looked down at my lap picking at my nails, the tissue used to block the blood long forgotten.

He used the crook of his finger to lift my head up with my chin forcing me to look at him. I looked into his chocolate brown eyes and I saw how apologetic he was for hurting me.

"Look j. I'm sorry for opening the door that way I didn't know you were behind it. Please forgive me." I wanted to cave in and forgive him but I had to stand my ground, I'm not forgiving him so easily. I averted my gaze back to my lap pursing my lips into a thin line.

He sighed then stood up from my lap. "Fine with then; if you don't want to forgive the easy way I guess I'll have to tickle the forgiveness out of you." My eyes were as wide as saucers. I hate being tickled it makes me weak.

Before I could get away from him he was already tickling. I was laughing like crazy, flailing my hands and legs everywhere trying to stop him from tickling. My sides and cheeks were hurting from laughing too hard.

"I ... forgive ..... you!" I chocked out in between laughs. He finally stopped tickling and gave a triumphant grin while raising his hands in the air.

I rolled my eyes and smiled at him.

He was so goofy.
