Chapter 8 - Another Alex?

Alexsis Joanne Anderson, my twin sister. The most amazing girl there was. She had perfect skin, beautiful short silky brown hair that covered half of her face, and a beautiful smile that made any boy turn a hot pink.

"Lynx!" Our mother called. "I need you in the kitchen."

That nickname was only used by my mother cause of Alexsis cat addiction (I ended up calling her Lynx for the rest of the story, so that's what we're calling her).

Lynx walked over calmly top the kitchen.

The family cat greeted her with a quiet purr.

Did I mention that Lynx can speak to cats like Chase, but he only speaks to dragons (Why does this story have so many animal speaker!).

"Hey girl," Lynx laughed picking up the cat. "How are you."

The cat meowed and licked her paw.

"Have you named the cat yet." Mom asked.

"I was thinking Alexine, to go with the trend we have in the family." Lynx smiled.

Mom handed a note from Lynx's secret admirer. "I didn't check, don't worry."

"Thanks mom!" Lynx called running off with the letter.

"So, who's your boyfriend!?" Mom yelled.

"Mom!" Lynx laughed. "You said you didn't read it!"

"I'm a mom, I had to."

Lynx ignored her and opened.

"Hey Lynx,

It's your Michel, just wondering if your brother has found you yet. I know that we haven't talked in a while, but I've been wanting to ask you a question. It's kind of personal, so don't tell anyone. I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date, I know it's weird I asked over a letter but things in Helheim are getting difficult. Hella's forces are pushing us back. I've been ordered to meet Alexander at this really nice restaurant at six o'clock tomorrow. The address is on the card inside the envelope. Can you meet me there at four, for dinner?

Love, Michel Wvoychez"

Those word were enough to send Lynx crying with joy.

"Lynx, are you ok?" Mom called.

"Can you drop me off here at four tomorrow?" Lynx asked wiping away her tears.

Mom nodded and said that dinner was ready.

Lynx got up and walked over to the dinner table, excited for the next day.
