Chapter 4 - It's You!

The girl, who I still don't know the name of yet, left and made her way to class. I looked around the deserted courtyard. Whenever supernatural occurrences take place, an aura of danger surrounds the area which humans can sense to some extent. Their instincts tell them to get away from the area as fast as possible, only subconsciously.

A young man who I assume to be a teacher is waiting by the front doors.

"Excuse me sir, where is the king's abode?" I asked politely.

"?"

You know you messed up when someone answers with a question mark.

'I must have assumed his gender wrong. Yes that's it!'

"Excuse me mam, where is the king of this establishment's abode?"

"First of all, I'm a dude. Second, are you talking about the principal's office?" he asked.

"Ah yes, that's what I meant."

"Come with me."

I smirked, "That's what she said."

Damn, Celestial jokes are the best. Go Celestial!

He turned around and stared straight into my eyes. It didn't help that he was about three inches shorter than me and plump.

And then he started laughing.

"Good one kid! That's the best one I've heard, haha!"

Oh thank god. I thought I was goner there.

He turned and began walking away so I followed him.

We walked down a few corridors which I memorized the layout of. After all, this would become my domain soon enough. Once we reached the end of a hallway, I thought we were standing in front of a set of doors. The teacher pressed a button on the wall and the doors slid open. What I thought was a room behind, was actually some sort of metal box. I stepped inside and the doors slid shut.

"What is this?"

"What, an elevator?" he replied. "Kid, are you okay?"

"Ahh, an elevator. I like the word."

He looked away in disbelief and proceeded by pushing a button on the wall. The box lurched upwards at a surprising pace. After a few seconds, I realized that this was a human transportation device that brings people to higher floors.

'Nice.'

The box stopped moving and the doors slid open. The room behind the doors was in fact very large. The floors were covered in red luscious carpet. This was a corner office with large windows overlooking the town in the background. A few couches were spread across the room and right in the middle was a desk with a woman sitting behind it. Her head was down as she was writing on some papers.

"Is this the queen of this learning establishment?" I asked to the teacher beside me.

"Kid you're really weird. Well anyways, I'm going to get ready to teach my class. I'm Mr. Joseph by the way. See ya around," and with that, he stepped back into the box and left.

"Do you have your transfer papers?" the woman asked still with her head down.

"Ah, yes. Straight to business."

"Bring them here."

I walked towards her.

"My name is Reiji Aatrox," I said to her.

She snapped her head up at the sound of my name and her eyes widened. A look of shock spread across her face.

"Y-y-you're Prince Aatrox!"
