The next morning was utterly awful! Well, when you know that you're gonna get punched right in the face by the male protagonist, of course you will feel awful. I tried expressing my discomfort, but the poor old geezers were so adamant about me going for the graduation ceremony that I had to eventually give in. And hence I consoled myself thinking that it's for the sake of the plot, which I obviously don't care about.
You know, knowing the exact date and time of your death is always a curse. But you wanna know something more dreadful than that? Knowing the time-frame in which you might die. It's so unspecified yet distinct. You know you'll die; you just don't know when. You might say that it's normal human life. However, I know how I might end up dying, so I would argue that it's different; not that anyone cares though.
Anyhow, with these thoughts riddling me, I somehow reached the academy. Since I talked about my discomfort, my parents arranged a carriage for me even though I repeatedly told them that I would walk. Then I realized that I didn't know the way to the academy, so I took upon their offer.
The good thing was that the academy didn't change because of my arrival to this world, causing some sort of butterfly effect. Not that my transmigration matters, since I'm a minor character, but it's really satisfying to see something familiar for a change, even though I saw it just once in the game.
This weird sense of nostalgia that I had with this place sure made me teary. Although the surrounding people thought that I was being emotional since it was the last day of the academy, which would've made total sense in their point of view.
The moment I stepped my foot inside the academy, I was welcomed by the main villainess, whose name I really forgot for some reason. That's the funny thing. I know even the random character's name (me), but forgot about the main villainess' name completely.
"Hua, you're here! I heard you were down with the sickness!" She spoke, looking really concerned about me.
At that moment, I felt like she might be those sort of misunderstood villainesses whom no one really understood. She obviously cared about me, right? "Yea, I'm all better now!" I gave out the brightest smile I could possibly give out. First, my parents and then the villainess of the game; it seemed like everyone really cared about me.
"Good! I was worried." She came towards me and held me close. "There ain't a better scapegoat...hrmm… friend that you. Look, I want you to embarrass Qiu Si before everyone today! Doesn't matter how, but you gotta do it. You are with me on this, right?" She asked, placing a hopeful gaze over me. The lion, the witch and the audacity of this bitch! I was the idiot who thought she cared about me! And what's with the retracting statement? Go on, call me your scapegoat! After all, that's what I am, right? I'm not a BL comic protagonist who won't notice your retracted statements!
I wanted to scream upon her, however she was the daughter of the blood moon sect's leader. Since I was trying to divert from my death flags rather than raising them, I had no choice but to quietly shake my head on it. Well, it wasn't like it opposed what I planned, so that was fine.
The villainess worked hard, at least her lackeys did in looking for Qiu Si, since it was her need to see the heroine getting embarrassed in public. I never got the idea, really. Like I know that the Taiyi sect and the Blood Moon sect have bad blood between them, but why was she so adamant about destroying Qiu Si's reputation when she's an outer disciple.
If she wanted to pick a fight, she could have picked it against someone of her own stature like the daughter of the leader of Taiyi sect or something, who is by the way, our classmate too. But she had to pick Qiu Si.
Ah, in retrospect, I might just understand her intention. If she were to pick a fight with the leader's daughter, it could lead to a war, whereas if she picked a fight with the outer disciple, no one really cares, and yet she gets the enjoyment of punishing someone from the Taiyi sect. I'm really stupid—at times! Of course, this is the bully picking on the weak situation.
Anyway, once they found Qiu Si, the villainess pushed me towards her. The push was a little too hard that I accidentally bumped into her. She turned around. Her eyes looked depressed. Like, from what I know about her from playing the game was that she's brilliant in many ways and yet had to suffer a lot. And that made her question everything she does and she always ended up depressed and downhearted. Now, that's just straight up sad! It almost made me not wanna pick on her-almost being the word to notice.
However, I had to do this for the sake of the plot; that's the lie that I engraved onto my brain. The most I could do is to hope that Zhangsun Shan comes for rescue as quickly as possible before I make a big scene.
"Eww, your dress looks stupid. You look stupid. You are ugly." I said to her as stoic as possible. I didn't put any emotion into my face as I said those obvious lies. Ugly? As if! She's one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. Sadly, she shouldn't know about my thoughts.
It seemed like my words didn't quite make the impact as she stood there baffled as to what was going on. So, I reiterated my words a bit louder, but with my stoicness intact, of course. This time, I was able to grab the attention of the people. Bit by bit, people surrounded us. And yet the heroine was still confused. I felt like she had gone through worse bullying that she didn't consider my words as one. Poor thing!
However, Qiu Si wasn't the only one confused. The villainess looked baffled as well since I didn't make much of a ruckus. She wanted chaos, not mild shit like this! I wasn't gonna consider doing that, however since the crowd was growing and Zhangsun Shan was nowhere to be seen, I did have to pitch it up and bring on the bitch mode.
"You insufferable idiot! What's up with your fashion sense? You look stupid! Your face look even more stupid. What made your parents conceive such a god awful child! You shouldn't have been born at all, you piece of garbage!" I said things that I didn't mean but was sure to hit her nerves. Knowing her depressed personality, I knew that she would be contemplating my words. I was on point on that! She mumbled 'I shouldn't have been born' over and over again. Plan one was a success. Now for plan two…
"How dare you insult someone from the Taiyi sect like that! Don't you have no shame?" A voice came from behind. Ah yes, the protagonist had appeared. Zhangsun Shan, the one who led a rebellion against the imperial court at the age of thirteen, was making his grand appearance. He looked furious, which was a good thing for me. I wanted him agitated or the plans wouldn't work in the way I wanted to.
"You angry, arse fondler?" I asked. I had to get creative to get him aggravated.
"What a filthy mouth you have?" He looked baffled as I cussed on him.
"What are you gonna do about, eh? Fuckwipe. Here, take a bitch slap." I said as I smacked one over his face for no reason.
He looked furious, yet he did nothing. Instead, he turned back to Qiu Si. "I suggest you stand back, miss. And as for you, beat me as much as you want. Until you feel satisfied, if that's all it takes for you to leave her alone." He looked at me and humbly requested.
As Qiu Si moved back, I walked towards Zhangsun Shan and then walked past him. "Flipping masochist! It'll be no fun if I beat you senseless. You just wouldn't care. So, shall I beat the heck out of someone you actually care about? Qiu Si! Piss off. Take another bitch slap." I sped towards her and slapped her in the face. I heard a lot of gasps arising around me as I did that. And a few giggles too. I knew who those shitheads were. Nevertheless, I felt satisfied, since I was doing my job as the minor villainess.
Upon receiving my slap, Qiu Si cried a river. I felt bad about it and I kinda wanted to console her but that's when I felt it. The ominous aura behind me. The people around me were scared shitless upon seeing a really angry Zhangsun Shan behind me. As for me, I had no choice but to smile like crazy. It seemed as if my stupid plan worked.
