Chapter 25 - You really agree with it?

"I do believe you"

Henry said. His voice sounded sincere as usual. His almond eyes stared at Maida gently. But there was a glimmer of worry, in the depths of her black irises as dark as night.

Maida saw it. Lifting her lips with a sincere smile.

"But I don't want you-"

Henry had not finished his sentence. Because Maida had locked his lips with her tapered index finger.

"Don't worry!" Maida said.

Her voice was low. Like a drop of dew falling on the earth.

"Don't you trust me?" She continued.

Her red eyes seemed dark in the night. She looked up. She was drowning watched the face of the man in front of her.

That was the curve of a charming face. Which had the serenity of a lonely night. A face that never bore her. And always make her fall in love every day.

"Promise me not to break the Batanfrien treaty?"

To be more convincing. Henry chose to enter into an agreement. Not out of disbelief. But this was for absolute certainty.

This was not the first time they have exchanged promises. And every time they do. They would keep it to the end.

"I promise"

"And don't get your hands dirty either?"

Maida understood what it meant to be dirty.

Henry didn't want her to do something heinous that would get her hands dirty. Henry didn't want, because of their love they fought for. Maida ruined the pure girl profile that was in her.

Raised her eyelids wider. Maida let the twinkle in her eyes appeared stronger and clearer. She felt very touched by the way Henry loved her.

It's pure. And never let their ambition tarnish their love. Love her but not with his ego. But with sincerity and willingness.

"Yes, I promise you"

And finally Henry came out of the forest. Maida lived alone with the girl who was fast asleep because of her magic spell.

Walk towards her. Maida knelt on the ground right beside the girl's body.

And her red lips like rose petals opened. Back to sing a short song in the middle of the quiet forest.

♪ ' O Earth...'♪

♪'O ground..'♪

'Listen!'

♪'Split and drown us ...' ♪

After two lines were spoken. The ground on which they stood shook. And afterward split.

Made the two girls fell into the bowels of the earth. After both of them were swallowed.

The earth shook and closed again.

After a few minutes. They vomited back up somewhere. And that's how Maida teleported.

The next day. Cecile, who had been fast asleep all night, finally woke up.

Opened her eyes. Cecile saw that it was morning. Sunlight lying on her smooth face. when she swept around. It was a vast forest but with a different charm.

Not only full of some pine trees and other types. But also lots of flowers that grew pretty around.

Some were sticking out of the thicket. Some of them grew wild wrapped around several trees. And there were also those that grew freely on the ground.

It was very much. Cecile felt as if she had just been in a flower garden.

And there were also several other trees that bore fruits. Such as mangoes, oranges and other fresh fruit.

See all the fruits. Cecile's stomach growled hungrily. Cecile eager to get up and quickly pick some of them.

But found herself tied to a large tree. Cecile was a little surprised and returned to remembering last night's events.

"Are you awake?"

A voice greeted her.

Cecile looked up. And found the girl last night. Instantly she was afraid. Was this guardian girl going to take her eyeballs now?

Maida could see Cecile's terrified look. Pulling both corners of her lips. She tried to smile gentler than last night.

"There's no need to be afraid!" She said. Her tone was also more friendly.

"We just exchanged eyes" Said Maida casually. It was as if she was talking about changing clothes with a girl her age.

"You will not lose your sight"

Cecile's hand which was on the ground. Started digging into the ground until the white nails were dirty. She felt very angry in her heart.

Was this guardian girl playing with her?

"I beg you..."

Suddenly Maida spoke softly. Her red eyes seemed to be submerged in water. Like a red diamond inundated in a clear lake.

Maida felt sour in her heart. Nor did she wanted to do this. But if she didn't do it, she would have to just give up her love.

"I promise the process won't hurt you"

Cecile could see Maida's mood swings. Her eyes that looked terrible last night were like ghosts. But now it looked like a pure little girl begging.

The expression on her face was like that of a depressed girl. Looked dim and like saving a lot of pressure.

And like been holding it for a long time. The tears fell. Landed both red cheeks like rose petals.

Cecile who saw the sight. She was touched. She seemed to see another light from her. It was like this guardian girl of the forest was a kind hearted person.

But was it true?

"Actually, why do you want to swap your eyes?" Cecile finally decided to ask.

Even though she asked her once. But this time Cecile expected a satisfying answer.

"I love someone" Maida finally decided to tell the truth.

"But our love is stifled by this difference." And her tears flowed even more profusely. Her voice sounded trembling a little. As if she was holding back tears.

"Just because of your eyeballs?"

Cecile felt it was a slightly complicated story. It was not much sad about her cousin Anne's love story.

Looked at her red eyes. That was weird. They were more like the eyes of ghosts or monsters in folklore.

But wasn't it only natural that this girl was a girl who looked after the forest?

Oh no!

Finally Cecile understood. This waiting girl was involved in feelings with humans? And failed to cover up her identity just because of her flashy eyes. Maybe the hair stuff was easy. She can colour it. But eyeballs?

"Do you really have a way to swap our eyes?"

Heard the question. Maida felt there was hope.

"Of course!"

Paused for a moment, Cecile thought. Should she decide to help this forest girl?

Reminiscing about Anne who looked so sad after her first love story ended. She could see Anne, who usually looked so expressive from the inside and out. Turned into a wounded girl in the inside, who tried hard to appear more alive from outside.

Inevitably Cecile felt sorry for this strange girl. Should she agree to her request to help her?

"OK I agree"

In the end Cecile decided to help. At least she could save the girl's love story.

Cecile hated story that didn't end happily. That's why she decided to bring Anne closer to Edwin. Cecile hoped they could find a happy ending.

"You really agree with it?" Maida never thought it would be a piece of cake.

"Yes! As long as I don't lose my sight"
