Chapter 28 - I don't think you will give your blood

"Looks like I found the solution"

Clive said, with his hand hanging on his chin, thinking of a recently found solution. His black eyes stared far away still contemplating whether the solution was reliable?

"What is that? "

With his gaze still far away, Clive answered calmly. "But I don't know if this will work or not"

"Just tell me what it is! It never hurts to try" Arthur said impatiently.

While his attention was still focused on the girl who lay weak. When he hold her hand. It was cold as ice. So he brought her hand to his lips. Then blew gently to give a little warmth.

Clive saw that, the more he convinced that the human girl had a special place in Arthur's heart.

"That girl must drink our nation's blood. Maybe with that the flow of power in her body can be controlled a little and stop eating her blood cells"

Clive thought of that solution because the concept is the power of the rose clan wouldn't work on a human blooded body. But that might work a little on a Sibolv of mixed blood.

So it's as simple as drinking their nation's blood on that girl. Maybe this can be used as a solution.

"Okay let's try with that one"

Arthur tore a bit of flesh on his wrist with his sharp teeth. Fresh blood seeped out. The expression on his face didn't change at all like it was normal. His other hand pinched the girl's cheeks to force her mouth open. With that Arthur drank his blood on the girl.

While Clive was very surprised. He never would have thought Arthur would use his blood.

"I don't think you will give your blood"

"We don't have much time," Arthur said. At this time his expression turned very serious. Far from the playful look. It accentuated the sharp contours of his face and turned the worried image there into a cold iceberg.

"How much should I give?"

"That I don't know"

Clive provided a solution from the results of his speculation without any specifications. Of course he did not know how much to give. He even suggested this without any research first.

"Then how to know the level of effectiveness whether this is working or not?" Arthur continued.

"I'll check her pulse and vital conditions. After that we compare from the previous state. From there we can conclude how effectively it works" Paused for a moment, Clive sighed.

"I really hope this works," He continued hopefully.

After saying that. Clive went to the table near the couch. A special place for him to work. Sitting there, Clive began to wrestle with his peacock feather pen and ink. With the charm of a serious medical expert. He wrote something on yellow paper.

Meanwhile Arthur still placed his hand on Cecile's half-open mouth to give her some blood.

Clive came back to them. Taking Cecile's wrist. He focused on checking his progress. His brows were tightly knit together as he checked the girl's pulse.

Then Clive pressed his thumb harder against the girl's pulse trying to feel the flow of the power if it had gotten a little under control. His black eyes were wide open with bright shades. Glancing at Arthur, he generously said.

"Looks like it's working. I can feel the change in his pulse. Although it's still a little weak but it's much better than before. And also the flow of his power has been controlled a bit. It seems that your struggle to give your blood for him is not in vain"

Back to his seat, Clive wrote down the results of his examination earlier. Meanwhile Arthur smiled, knowing the solution worked. Clive's medical genius never disappoints.

"But it looks like she still needs a lot of blood. Are you sure you will continue to give your blood? I can order someone to find a substitute who can give his blood" Clive offered to Arthur.

Clive thought, if Arthur kept giving too much blood, maybe it wouldn't be good for his body. Now maybe Arthur was fresh. But he might faint later because of lack of blood.

"No need!" Reject Arthur.

"Just prepare some fresh meat for me" Arthur suggested after him.

Meat is good for increasing the body's vitality. In addition to serving as the staple of their nation, it was also good for blood booster. Clive nodded in agreement. Then he ordered someone to hunt two deer. Deliberately chose deer, as it was Arthur's favorite meat.

On the other side, in the land of Whitackrest. Anne cried while apologising to her uncle who was Cecile's father. She felt very guilty for failing to take care of her female cousin. Cecile has been missing for two days and they still haven't found her.

Edwin also felt very guilty. Because he failed to take care of his fiancé. Seeing the expression on the face of Eckbert, who was his future father-in-law. He knew that he was very disappointed in him.

Ainsley and Gennifer who heard this news were also concerned about their daughter-in-law's condition. They also mobilised some of their trained bodyguards to look for Cecile in the forest.

Eckbert had of course mobilised his tribal security forces to find his daughter. They had been looking for Cecile in the forest for two days and two nights but had not yet brought any news of his daughter's whereabouts.

Until finally one of them appeared carrying a basket of flowers that he found in the forest. "Does this belong to your daughter Mr. Eckbert?"

Anne who saw it, exclaimed happily "Yes it's Cecile's! Have you found her yet?"
