Alex got a system notification before he threw the last ax in his hand, confirming the death of the lady of the night that was coming upstairs. With his skill precipitation, he knew the other person was running back downstairs.

Alex didn't know if the person would return, but they would die too if they did. Alex then turned his attention back to the paralyzed Knights, the lady of the night, and the fleeing innkeeper. The lady of the night was about to offer Alex exclusive rights to her body, but before she could even speak, Alex plunged an ax in her face, sending her body crashing to the floor; in her eyes, there was an unwillingness to die. In her last moments, she cursed herself 'why didn't she let her sister guide the knights? Why was she such a greedy slut?'

She just came from being used when the knights entered. She cursed the adventurer that was using her before; if he lasted longer...….. these were the last thoughts of the lady of the night.

Alex then used his ghost blade to decapitate the knights.

Before perusing the innkeeper, Alex stored the bodies in his storage ring. He did not plan to clean up the stairwell yet; the innkeeper was still breathing. Alex opened a rift, jumped in the void, and ran after the innkeeper. Alex made a mental note that he should have visited the rooms, so it would have been easier to just blink to the third floor and intercept the innkeeper.

----------

The innkeeper Point of View

The innkeeper was quick on his feet. He knew that a witness to any assassination never ended with a happy witness. As soon as he saw Alex's mask and a blade in hand, he used the wind element to increase his speed and ran up the stairs to the third floor. The innkeeper threw his body in the first room on the third floor, using his body and his wind element to bust the cheap lock on the door open. The innkeeper only thought was to get away.

Anyone daring to take out two knights simultaneously was not someone he was willing to face. Or someone that would have a query in adding two more victims to his list. He even had the faintest feeling the knights were good as dead. The innkeeper hoped they could at least hinder the assault; he even hoped that the skill of the seductress grabbed assault attention. He did not care if they all died, once he lived, once he could get away.

The innkeeper recognized Alex's mask and hated himself more for mingling in other people's business. He was too greedy; he hoped to make the knights his inn customers and loot Alex's dead body. Within the room, the innkeeper ignored four sets of surprised eyes staring at him. The innkeeper rushed to the window; he was willing to throw himself from the third-floor story window. His chance of survival was greater than meeting the masked lunatic in the hall.

Within the room, four adventurers were ganging up on a beast-women/cat-women that was a part of their party; they were teaching her they too were beasts.

When the innkeeper bust through the door. Of course, all those in the room were dumbfounded, but they were experienced adventurers; their astonishment turned to fury. They only had one thought, and that was to demolish the innkeeper for interrupting their most important lesson of the night or in this cat-woman life.

The cat-woman was also enraged. She was relishing in her lesson and yearned for the class to last for an entire day. When the innkeeper was about to jump out the window, an adventure grabbed him by the arm tightly and was about to attack the innkeeper when an ax hit the adventurer in the back of the head.

The adventurer fell while still clutching the hand of the innkeeper pulling him down with him. The innkeeper's eyes nearly burst out of his head as he watched Alex step out of the rift and threw ax after ax killing the adventurer and the cat-women in less than thirty seconds. Alex then pulled two axes out and threw them in the innkeeper's eyes, as if saying, 'you shouldn't have run away.'

Alex removed the bodies into his storage ring, then closed the door; he needed to clean the stairwell first. Alex blinked in the stairwell where he killed the knights and used his black fire to purge the blood and stains. He did the same thing where the catgirl died, removing all the axes on the floor and the wall. Besides cracks in the wall, the stairwell locked the same. Alex then blinks back to the room the innkeeper died in and cleaned up with the room. The fight with the first inn knights, the stairwell knights, the innkeepers, Luke, the ladies of the nights, and the cleanup took Alex twenty-three minutes. Alex consumed a mana and stamina potion before leaving.

Alex opened the void and was heading back to the ladies. By now, the other knights might know something is wrong if they each have a communication talisman, and he would lose the advantage he had.

While in the void, Alex blinked to the area of the house of baron rogue and saw three knights' team of eleven searching in the area. They didn't go to house rogue specifically, but they were close. This was the blunder Alex meant; if he had given the women the talisman from since knowing about the tracking talisman, the hideout would still be useful. Alex also had to change his plans; he could not afford to use the baron locks home or the ninjas anymore.

Star had already warned him to leave no bodies or witnesses; it would be extremely difficult to eliminate all the knights, the ninjas, the witnesses, and clean up the scene. The commotion would draw more knights! The battle would be too messy and one he could not control. Furthermore, this would blow back on Jewel by association. Alex's previous knight elimination was perfect; there was no witness, no scene or evidence, and no bodies.

Alex blinked to Baron Howell's home and saw that there was only one team of six in the area. This was something he could handle versus thirty-three knights at house rogue. But he still could not take them out. Alex did not know if the knights used communications talismans to relay their position. If he took them out, he might as well build a bonfire while singing "Here I am" by Rick Ross. Alex blinked back inside the underground cellar to the women. He had to move the women before the knights set up any kind of space sealing talisman in the area.

The women huddled together, fear in their eyes; they never thought that the knights would act like this. They long had heard about the knight's love for their brethren. It was all lies!

Alex's arrival momentarily startled the woman.

"We need to leave. The knights are already in the area. Give me your hand again." Alex ordered. The women hesitated, which puzzled Alex 'did they want to live?' he thought until he looked at his attire. Bloodstained his cloak! Alex opted to change the cloak than to revival any more of his secrets to the woman.

Once he was done, he took the woman's hands and blinked into the servant quarters in the back of Baron Howell's homes. Since there was no cellar. The servant quarter was isolated; there were no plants or trees in its vicinity. They built it next to a boulder with only one egress. The servant quarter was designed with only the bare necessity: two bunk beds, a clothing shelf, and a small bathroom. Very bland! Alex chose the servant quarters because it had a secret passage that led to a 6ft by 6ft by 6ft room. The hidden room was carved out of a natural boulder next to the quarters; even the baron might not know its existence. There was even a tiny bathroom inside. The hidden room was most likely built by the servants to either hide themselves, their friends, or things of value. Alex noticed the room with his skill Perception because of a rabbit that was left in a cage. The entrance of the hidden room is a hole 2ft wide and 2ft in height. To enter, one must crawl on their hand and knees! It was perfectly hidden behind the clothing self. Which noble would be willing to crawl on their hands and knee to go thru a hole?

"Ladies, you will stay here for a while; I will move you to a more suitable location before the morning. I do not know if I will have to move you before then. There is a bathroom, and you all have food, clothing, and sheets. If there is anything, you can contact me. I will be back in six hours to take you each to set up traps with me, then I will return you here." Alex said fast; he only had nine hours left until he had to return to his jail cell. And he was planning to use every minute to level up. Alex blinked out the hidden room the placed the clothing shelf -back to conceal the secret passage. Alex then blinked back to the east of the ash kingdom, back to the inn district.
