Alex had a simple plan called 'assassinate them from afar.' He was going to use the poison he got from Star, the venom of the two-headed viper turtles. The toxin was perfect because it was colorless, odorless, and would take into effect after four days. Alex would not have to worry about taking the bodies, killing witnesses, or clean up the scene. Jewel's husband would be back by then, Alex would be free from jail, and he would harvest a lot of exp.
Alex picked to go to the eastern part of saint Rotherens because he had already killed there and expected that area would be overwhelmed with knights. The missing Knights should have already drawn attention. With the innkeepers that are still alive describing his mask, it was a guarantee.
Upon arrival to the eastern district, Alex saw all four knights' teams of nine and additional knights vigorously investigating the inn, interrogating adventurers, and examining the area. Even the Knights captain was there, coordinating and directing the knights. The blue pin knights were also there somewhere drinking with the women at the brothel while some kept watching over the situation. Before going on his poisoning spree, he needed to remove the lookouts.
Alex blinked within the void to the top of the roof of a brothel inn; his target was a two-man team stationed to help coordinate with the knights in different areas. Alex had to get rid of them first for his poison spree to begin. 'Inspect'

Alex's targets seemed to be brothers; if they were close, then their battle coordination would be impeccable. Alex had to get rid of Walter Frasier first; he had high intelligence and could increase his speed using the wind element. After killing Carl, Alex did not want to face another wind elementalist in a head-to-head battle. They were too sensitive to the things that were happening in their immediate area. Although he killed Carl, Carl's Intelligence was low (50 to be exact). If carl had fought instead of running, he still would have died, but he would have been killed because of paralyzing venom. Alex killing Carl's teammate and the surprise factor threw Carl's mind into a funk, causing him to think he stood no chance against Alex.
Even though assassinating both Matthew and Walter Frazier was low, Alex still would try. Matthew wore full metal armor, and his brother wore a chain-mail that protected his vital organs, limiting Alex's attack option. Trying to decapitate both knights was a long shot. Alex withdrew both ghost blades from the scabbard at his side. One blade split open the void horizontal as it moved to decapitate Matthew, as the other blade pierced the void going straight for Walter's anus. But as Alex expected, Walter reacted fast, pulling his brother along with him as they both rolled on the roof, avoiding the ghost blades.
Alex immediately blinked out of the void after failing to wound Walter. A surprise attack wouldn't work anymore, and he had to silence Walter quickly. As he stepped out, Alex felt the space element was being hindered. He could not blink.
The knights had set up an array of space locking talismans.
'Those cheeky bastards,' Alex thought while looking at Walter with a grin that said, 'you bastard, I mean no harm, don't run.'
To Walter, Alex's grin was nothing more than a challenge.
Pressing on his advantage, Alex did not give Walter any time to process what was happening. He charged at Matthew, hoping to draw Walter in! Even though Walter pulled Matthew out of the way and stopped him from being decapitated, there was still a small slit on the back of Matthew's neck as blood trickled down. The wound was not big enough to warrant immediate medical attention from a healer but just enough for the venom to work.
Matthew, lying on his stomach, could not move even though he saw Alex coming towards him. His pupils opened wide, demanding what was wrong with his body.
Walter saw this, realizing that Matthew was most likely poisoned. Their opponent blades had to be coated with it. Walter withdrew both of his daggers from his side and prepared to fight Alex. He had no choice; Matthew was his brother and still alive. If any other person was poisoned, Walter would have escaped Long ago, without even a second thought.
Using the wind to increase his speed, Walter reached Matthew first, blocking Alex's path. Walter swung both of his daggers, creating blades out of the wind (wind slashes) repetitively as they headed in Alex's direction.
Walter was planning to defeat and keep Alex at a distance. With his opponent's blades covered in poison, he would be a fool to allow Alex to get closer. All he needs to do was hold on until the captain did not hear from them. Although he was efficient at close combat, there was no need to test faith.
Alex understood what Walter wanted, and he was not having it. Alex knew he would lose in a battle of attrition, he had less stamina, and the commotion would draw the attention of more knights. Seeing the wind blades coming at him, Alex increased his speed, dodging by sliding on his knees, going underneath them as he leaned his body back, but he was still one-tenth of an inch too high. The vertical wind blades shredded his cloak in half. But to Alex, nothing happened. He was still trying to reach Walter.
As Walter sent more wind blades at him, Alex would flip his body over them, flipping backward, forwards, sideways, or slide underneath them. Alex did not want to expose ghost fade in fear of scaring Walter away. If not for the rift armor protection, Alex would have had a few minor wounds. As Alex closed the distance, Walter abandoned his initial plan. The wind blades were useless in holding such a freak of an assassin back. As Walter and Alex clashed, Walter made sure to always meet Alex's blades with his daggers.
Walter was pushing Alex back. Using the wind to increase his speed (wind path), Walter would occasionally lacerate Alex's arm after deflecting the ghost blade (elbow to shoulder with no armory).
Just When Walter was getting confident in blocking Alex's blades with his daggers, one of Alex's blades suddenly faded, passing through his dagger towards his chest. Walter immediately backtrack using the wind, dragging himself backward four feet from Alex. If not for his perfect reaction time, the ghost blade would have passed through his chain-mail. Walter realized Alex was far more dangerous than he expected; he would run for his life in any other situation.
Walter then decides to go all out. He used most of his mana to create a wind tornado around Alex and directed wind blades from the tornado at him on the inside while they trapped him. It was a perfect plan to hinder or kill anyone but Alex.
With four feet in between them, Walter puts all his hopes on his last attack. All he need was to hold Alex back.
Circulating the wind in the area, Walter creates a tornado around Alex using most of his mana, trapping him within.
While wind blades created within the tornado converge on Alex's Position. This was Walter's trump card, Temple of wind.
Once Alex saw the tornado, he cursed, 'fuck!'
This was the commotion he did not want.
Everyone, including the knights, would look towards this area.
The tornado was massive, lock him in the center ensuring he couldn't move. While wind blades threatening to shred him into mincemeat.
It was a perfect plan to kill anyone but Alex.
Using ghost fade, Alex allowed the wind blades to pass thru him as he walked out of the tornado. Matthew's eyes almost popped out of his head.
Walter, too, could not believe what he was seeing. If he knew Alex was this dangerous he would have opted to escape, using all of his mana to power his Ariel wings.
Walter looked at Matthew, who was still lying on his stomach, and whispered "I'm sorry".
Before turning around and jumping off the roof of the four-story inn. He had to escape; it was cruel of him to leave Matthew, but there was no point in both him and Matthew dying. Alex was not an opponent he could handle or any knight for that matter; he had to relay this information to the captain.
