"I brought you back here." Yama said while staring at her.
"Why?" Sylia crossed her hands in front of her chest while she questioned him.
"Then did you wanted to stay there forever? Inside the space portal?" Yama felt like rolling his eyes at her words.
"What I was doing in the space portal? And what is it?" Sylia's eyebrows furrowed as she looked at the Yama with a confused expression on her face. Space Portal... That sounded kind of a new word to her. While Sylia was confused on hearing the word space portal Yama was puzzled on hearing that she wasn't aware about it. Then does it mean that she is suffering from temporary amnesia just like the witch had told him? How come she could not remember what is it?
"You really don't know what is it? You stayed along with the Bennetts as well as along with the serpents. They..." Before he could say something else, Sylia interrupted him in between while she asked.
"I am neither a witch nor a Serpent then what was I doing there?" Sylia had a flabbergasted expression on her face. She could not comprehend why all of these things were happening right now with her.
Shaking his head Yama spoke softly.
"It seems that you have forgotten your identity." As Yama had planned earlier to trap her in his plan it seemed it was not going to work right now. After all she did not only remember about herself of not being a witch and a servant it was also possible that she might remember her original blood clan. What if she must be acting right now to test him?
And her blood clan, which was the Easter continent, it was stronger, much more stronger than any other clan except for the divines. Since it was considered to be a second divine sect with complete peace and harmony among them. Even though the ruler of the continent was a powerful Ancient and a powerful Witch as their queen who was an original witch. Yet both of them were blessed by the divines.
Divines constituted of the Gods, deities and good souls. Being blessed by the deity and good soul was something which other common sects could also receive but getting blessings of the divine sect was like receiving blessings directly from the God, not only blessings but protection as well. The Eastern continents being blessed by the divines meant that the God were providing protection.
"What is my identity?" Sylia muttered under her breath.
"You're lived with Serpents and Bennetts from childhood. They used you as a prey for trapping me, asurs. After all you are the most beautiful girl among all the sets currently..." He intentionally trailed his words while gazing at her from head to toe which immediately made Sylia annoyed as she extended her hand and mumbled something which instantly made the Yama to forcefully lift his face up.
He paused for a brief moment of seconds before adding.
"I don't know about your blood clan but I'm sure you will recall about them." He stopped and turned to walk towards the couch behind him while pouring wine in a glass for himself.
He had to think of a way to make her stop and stay here. His original plan was no longer of use so he had to do something else.
"These marks… What are these? Did you do anything to me?" Sylia could not help but shot him a glare while she looked at him with hatred apparent in her eyes. She noticed that how he had momentarily halted in his actions when she mentioned about her injuries, she was quite sure that it was something to do with him.
Knitting his brows on hearing the last part of the question, he turned to face her. He clenched his jaws and answered in a cold tone.
"I don't remember anything doing. These injuries… These injuries are because of a spell, a witch had tried to hurt you."
"It's fire rings." Her eyes sharpened while her facial features turned stiff and fierce.
The Yama was surprised to hear that from her, so he simply nodded his head and replied.
"Yes, you are right. It is because of that spell only."
"She dared to harm me. That witch… I would kill that witch. She had to repay for all these injuries caused on my body." Gnashing her teeth in anger she flipped the small table beside her.
Yama remained silent for a long period of time before he informed her.
"It looks difficult now… she is already dead. I killed her." He leisurely sat on the couch behind him while placing his one hand on the arm rest while with the other he was sipping his wine. The red wine in the glass seemed as if he was drinking blood, and it was quite true as well. The liquid in the glass was not completely wine. It was added in a total of eight parts constituting two parts blood and six parts wine.
Sylia clenched her fingers into a tight fists as her blood started to boil from anger. She took a step forward towards him and questioned while hissing.
"Why did you killed her? She was my target and I was the one who was supposed to kill her."
When Yama heard her words, his eyes flickered but he shrugged his shoulders and answered in a straight voice, making Sylia widen her eyes in shock.
"She dared to hit you- my wife. I had to kill her."
