Chapter 27 - Eastern Continent (1)

When the witch sitting beside Sylia heard Yama she was silent for a moment before shaking her head.

"No, it is going to take one night for her to heel and wake up." The witch paused before adding.

"She will wake up tomorrow morning."

The witch then fed Sylia with the last dose of potion of the herbal medicine as well as the healing potion before placing a spell casted flower on top of her forehead and as well as on both sides of our body.

" I will take my leave master ." The witch was just about to leave when the Yama suddenly called her

"Stop right there. You still have to tell me about her blood clan. Why did the Bennetts abducted her when she was just a child?"

Shaking her head the witch said in a low voice.

"I... Master it's just that the the queen of the Eastern continent from where Sylia belong to was one of the original witches of the Bennett's who was supposed to die after merging. But because of her blessed fortune and as well as the ability with which she was blessed by the divines, she did not die after the merging stopped. She was one of the most powerful witches the Bennett's ever had. But as the current head of the Bennett was afraid that one day her power powers might even dethrone her from her position, she instigated a plan by using powerful black magic."

On hearing such a story behind Sylia's abduct and as well as her misfortunes, the Yama was surprised inwardly. Being cold and aloof he did not even let it show on his face but inwardly he felt that it was quite obvious to detect. Since Sylia was herself too powerful with her extraordinary magic it was very obvious to guess that her parents have been either someone powerful or it was just that she was blessed by the divine.

"Then how did she got abducted by the Bennetts?"

"The day she was it was her fifth birthday, even though as soon as children are born, they are immediately bounded by protecting spell. But Sylia wasn't. Her powers were enough to act as a protecting layer around her. Only if her blood parents do perform any magic, that her powers might get ruptured."

"it was midnight and that too on that day the weather was quite bad. It was very bad which had enabled our head witch from the Bennett to to execute her plan of attacking her sister. But as soon as she saw Sylia she changed the plan. Instead of attacking her sister she took Sylia from there. Both were twins and identical and among both of them it was very difficult to point out who was. So, nobody doubted Just as she had reached the border did the queen and king realise that their daughter was not with them. But it was already too late. The head witch had already brought Sylia to the Serpent. "

Looking at the lifeless body of Sylia the Yama had a guest of emotion spreading through his chest.

"Master, then should I be forgiven and granted freedom?" After a while the witch asked in a lowered voice. She was afraid that her words might make the devil angry. However on listening to her words the Yama chuckled mysteriously as he said.

"Not yet."

The witch's heart shook. She was disappointed but soon on hearing the coming words from Yama's mouth, her emotions and face seemed to be relieved.

Before you leave from here I want you to take news to your clan.

"What kind of news do you want me to take master?" The witch asked.

"I want you to tell them that Sylia had gained her powers back and she is planning an attack on the Serpents. She has also been discovered by her blood clan and they are with her. As well as combine their powers with the asuras, they will attack the serpent's." The Yama stopped and added.

"Don't forget to tell them that she is my wife now."

The witch was stunned and shocked. Though it was true that she had regained her powers back but still she would take a long time to handle them and to feel them. She had never used her own powers and never realised that how much strength her powers have which was going to be very difficult for her after she realises that she has immense power but she would be very confused on how to to use them. The witch did not need to voiced out her opinion as she just nodded her head as she spoke .

"Master don't worry I will do as you say. Andโ€ฆ"

"What else?" The Yama asked.

"It might take some time for Sylia to realise her inner powers since it has been a long time that her powers will be a gain embedded inside her body. And she might as well have some dementia issues."

"..."

The Yama remained silent as he did not responded for a long time. Nodding his head at the witch he walked towards the bed and sat at the edge. Understanding that it was her time to leave, the witch was very excited. Inwardly she thanked Sylia senior for coming here so that the path to her freedom was open now. She was excited to meet her clan, to meet her family and to meet her husband. Bowing her head at the Yama she turned and left for the portal space to open it.

Before she left she thought of visiting the other witches and assuring them that she would try her best to to bring them back as well. However thinking what had happened earlier in the afternoon a shiver ran down her spine. She quickly dropped that Idea and went ahead towards the beach side or more precisely towards the yellow stone at the entrance of the portal space.

On the bed, the Yama's mind was still stuck with the last words that the witch had spoken. He was still wondering that whether she would forget everything after waking up or not. But inwardly he was hoping that she would forget everything so that he could convince her with the fact that he was her husband, the ruler of the Asuras and would keep her by his side. After all, who didn't wanted to have immense supports and powers. With him being her husband, it won't only mean that he will have excess to her powers but as well the support of her blood clan. Remembering about it, he had to ask his minister to find more about them. But thinking about his earlier plan, the corner of his lips lifted into a smirk.
