-6:00 p.m-
We had made it to the maid cafe and saw a line forming at near the front doors, we went through the back doors and went in. Everyone was working today and I saw Petra dressed as a bunny with a tight body suit and thin leggings with bunny ears and 2 inch high heels. It looked very comfortable but she looked like a natural walking with heels, we were like polar opposites. She was sweet and cute while I was cold and dull. I continued to look around the cafe filled with Halloween decorations and the cafe packed. I saw Annie dressed as Junko from Danganranopa, and Christa was some sort of princess with a knee length dress and crown. Manager Sakura was dressed as a classic witch wearing mostly black and purple.
Hanji, Sasha, and Levi all decided to stay in the backroom for a bit, meanwhile I went to change into my costume and put on some platform boots. I put on my mother's jewelry again and walked out of the dressing rooms. "Alright, what do you think?", "You look amazing Mikasa!" said Hange with two thumbs up. "You look great!" said Sasha, "Black suits you Ackerman". "T-thank you, oh yeah you guys can wear your costumes as well if you'd like" I then quickly walked out and got to work. I got a lot of compliments that night, but they weren't in a bad way, they were genuinely nice. I saw a lot of kids coming in and trick or treating, it reminded of me when I was younger.
"Welcome back m'lady, if I may guide you to your seat", I followed the lady to a table and gave her a menu. I saw Levi, Hanji, and Sasha walking in and Petra greeting them. Soon, the chefs called me over and I got food for table 16 where my friends were. I got their food and strolled over, "Hey guys, so here is your food, I handed them a couple plates and drinks, "You guys enjoying yourselves?" I asked. "The kids strolling by are so cute!" said Hanji, "They got so much candy and I can smell the chocolate and lollipops from miles away.." said Sasha.
"Oh Sasha here you go" I toss two pieces of chocolate from my pocket onto the table, and I believe Levi got the black tea and Sasha got the spider cake, and Hange got the pumpkin patch dirt pudding. Sasha nodes eagerly, "You forgot to get me two packets of su-", "Oh yeah I almost forgot your sugar" I cut him off and gave him two small brown packets of sugar. I can tell he was surprised, he still had his emotionless face but I can tell he was a bit surprised, it was... cute. "Thank you" Levi replied, I nod and get back to working. "Mikasa! You look so cute today!" Christa complimented, "Thank you, you do too Christa" I replied.
It was finally my break time and I went to the back room, Petra came in to the break room and I looked up from my phone and gave a small smile. She smiled back, "Hey Mikasa can I talk to you for a second?", "Yeah sure". She sat next to me and started speaking "Are you and Levi by any chance like together..?", my eyes widened at the sudden question "What? N-no! Definitely not!", "Oh ok..". "Believe me, I used to be in the Survey Corps and he used to be my captain", I explained. "Oh I see! Wow, you were in the survey corps? That's very impressive", she replied "Thank you.....are you interested in Levi?" I asked, "Oh umm...maybe" she replied looking down. "I see..well he's a tough one to crack so good luck with him" I said. She looked up and smiled, Why did I feel betrayed when she said she was interested in him? I shrugged it off and went back to work.
-Petra's POV- and time skip to -A few hours later-
All night I couldn't help but glance at Levi, so muscular, cute, and he seemed so amazing. But everytime I looked at him, he was always with Mikasa. I thought she said there wasn't anything going on with her and Levi. It's obvious they have some sort of connection, everybody can see it, I really hate liars. She needs to pay, and she's not going to see anything coming to her. I went to the alley in the back and started to press numbers on my phone, "Yes hello? I'm looking for someone named Kenny, I have a special job for him to do. Alright I'll meet him at ****"...
(Kenny and Levi/Mikasa are not related)
My shift was finally done and the manager had told me to close the cafe, Levi, Hanji, and Sasha all went to wait outside. I was cleaning up the tables when suddenly someone walked behind me and covered my mouth and pinned my arms behind me. I tried anything I could to get out of this person's grip, whoever this person was, they were strong and knew how to hold someone back. I felt metal handcuffs on my wrists that clicked close, they continued to duct tape my mouth, I saw two tall figures covering their face. Guessing from their height, had to guess they were male, I had to find a way to get out of here, if I'm here too long Sasha, Hanji, and Levi would probably notice. But then again it might be too late by then, then I had a flashback.
-Flashback-
"Mom, how are babies made?" young Mikasa asked, "Oh, well why don't you ask your father sweetie?" she replied. "Daddy, how are babies made?" she asked again, "I-uh- why don't we ask Dr. Jeager sweetie" there was a knock on the door, "Hello Dr. Jeager! We were just talking about yo-" Mikasa's father's eyes widened. He suddenly fell to the ground with a stab wound on his chest and red oozing out. "Alright now behave and we can do this the easy way.." the man said. Mikasa's mother was shaking, she quickly grabbed the scissors next to her and ran to the man with an axe, and started to try to fight him. "MIKASA!! RUN FAR AWAY FROM HERE AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!" she screamed. Mikasa was there shakily standing, "Mommy, I-'m scared.." she stuttered, "I WANT YOU TO BE SCARED! NOW RUN FAR AWAY FROM HE-" she was cut off, the man had brought down the axe he had.
One of the men had walked to scared little Mikasa and said "Now behave little one.." before he put his hand on her slim shoulder and punched her across the face. Mikasa woke up to the cold chill, her hands were tied behind her back and she was on the floor. She saw two figures on chairs looking at her, "You really think she'll be worth a high price on the market? She doesn't seem special." the slim man said, "Of course, take a close look at her face, she's the last of the Orientals so she has to fetch a good price!" the chubby man said with his arms crossed across his chest. "She's not even a pureblood!" the slim man spoke again.
"The mother was the real deal! But you just killed her off jackass!!" the other man yelled, "It wasn't my fault, she was resisting!!" the slim man replied. The slim man walked up to her and kicked her to face her on her back. "Tch..she's still a youngster.." he said and walked away. There was a knock on the door, one of the men had opened the door to see a young boy with emerald green eyes, "What do you want brat!?", "I-I-I was alone in the w-woods and f-found t-this cabin.." the man turned to the other man, the other man signaled him to Mikasa and the man turned his head back to the young boy.
"Well little boy, it isn't good to be out all alone, there are wolves in this are-", his eyes widened as a knife impaled his chest and blood was oozing out spreading through his shirt. The body fell down and the man stood up from his chair, the young boy closed the door and the other man grabbed an axe and slammed open the door. The young boy was gone but then suddenly the young boy came running towards him with a broom with a sharp end. He proceeded to stab him multiple times with his knife and then turned to Mikasa who was still only half conscience.
"You must be Mikasa right? I'm Eren, Dr. Jeager's son", "There were three of them.." Mikasa muttered. "What?" the boy asked, "Did you do this?" a voice behind them said, Eren quickly grabbed for his knife but then was kicked in the stomach and tossed to the other side of the room. "YOU SICK BASTARD YOU KILLED MY TWO BROTHERS, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU" Mikasa grabbed the knife out of fright but couldn't stop shaking. "Help.." the young boy choked. "I can't!" she exclaimed shaking, "If you win you live if you lose you die, you can't win unless you fight!" he choked up. Suddenly, Mikasa felt wave of control and power through her. She gained complete control of her body and ran straight for the man slaughtering him."
Her flashback ended when the man infront of her spoke "You Mikasa Ackerman?" I don't answer, I'd rather not reveal my identity to anyone just yet. "Well we could sell her, she has a pretty face" one pointed out. The man grabbed my chin "What do you think hm? A woman working at a maid-cafe is looking for the wrong kind of attention. What, did you do it for a one-night stand?" he ripped the duct tape off my mouth, I felt something metallic on my lips, blood. "Answer me pretty lady" he said. Alright I had it....a screamed trying to alert anyone who was near, I curled forward and pulled my arms out and broke the handcuffs.
"You assholes, you should know my specialty is cutting flesh off your grimy weak bones, I won't hesitate to show you, in fact step right up!" I said and grabbed a man's wrist. I tossed him over and knocked him out, I kicked back at the man behind me, I successfully hit his stomach, he backed up and I turned to face him. He tried to punch me and I dropped down to the floor and swiped my right leg quickly under him to make him fall. I then punched him on the head knocking him out. "Tch, dipshits.."
I heard sudden laughing behind me, and saw Levi "What the hell, when did you get here?!", "I heard you scream and ran here" he replied with a small grin on his face. "I got it recorded!" Sasha yelled, "Wooo I know badass when I see it!!" Hanji cheered. I turned to face the two knocked out men behind me, I got some twine and tied their wrists together. I have a few questions for them, I doubt they came here just for fun. I kicked one of the men in the stomach, "Hey asshole, you dumbass bitch" he woke up and stirred his eyes open. "A-AH! Please don't kill me!" he exclaimed. "Depends on how cooperative you are" I replied.
"Who sent you here?" I asked, "I don't know what you're talking about miss!" he replied. I brought the heel of my boot on his ankle putting a tremendous amount of pressure on his ankle while grabbing onto his shirt collar. "I'll ask again, who sent you here?", "A girl, named P-petra R-ral, I don't know anything else!" he exclaimed. My eyes widened "Petra..?" why would she do something like this...she was always so sweet. "Did she say why?" I asked, "Something about l-lying, but that's really all I know!" he exclaimed.
"Why would she do something like this?" I asked "I don't think I've ever lied to her before either...". "Let's go call the police, we got enough evidence anyway" Hanji said.
-An hour later after the police had dealt with everything-
*Sigh* "I am so tired and we are most definitely late for curfew", "Let's head back. We all head to Hange's car, and drive quietly to our dorms. I put on my earbuds on just for a bit until we get back, I could feel my eyelids get heavy. I slowly fall asleep....
-Levi's POV-
Ugh, so tiring. But why would Petra do something like this? Maybe it was a mistake? But nobody tried to hurt my comrades without a consequence. We finally made it back to our dorms and Ackerman fell asleep again. "Levi, bring Mikasa back to your dorm will you? Thanks" said Hanji. Something felt wrong, something in her voice felt familiar, it was her sly, plan making type of voice. I ignored it and got Mikasa from the back seat, I noticed she had her earbuds on again. Tch, music freak, I carried her bridal style back into our dorms, if we were quiet enough we would make it past without a problem. I laid her on her bed after gently tugging off her boots, I noticed a slender, silver titanium stiletto. (It's basically a knife thing, not the heels if that is what you were thinking ;w;)
I pulled it out of the place on her thigh and placed it onto the nightstand next to her. I took our her earbuds which were still playing music. Her phone was playing a song named "Positions" by a person named Ariana Grande. I decided to listen to it, I put on the earbuds and started the song again.
