Ammie and Ryan looked at the door . The voice continued , " Isn't that you always do ? Why thinking so much this time ? "
Ammie was feeling very guilty . She knew that today she has insulted Shawn and Ryan in the worst way possible . She kind of assumed that they'd never talk to her again let alone forgive her . She didn't know how to meet their eyes . Ryan was easygoing but Shawn wasn't . And now that Shawn was at the door , she was finding it more difficult to face him . Shawn said again , " Don't you want to hug me ? What are you waiting for ? Should I leave then ?" It was enough for Ammie , in an instant she went to Shawn and hugged him tightly . She hid her crying face in his chest . Shawn caressed her back to calm her down and said , " Don't cry . It's alright . I understand , you were disturbed . I didn't mind . And ....I'm sorry , I raised my voice at you ."
" No it's not your fault , I should've behaved properly . I'm sorry , I didn't mean a single word I said...." , she was going to say more but Shawn said, " I know . " And that was enough to assure her that she was forgiven .
" Shawn , our darling was upset with us that we were not spending time with her . She was feeling lonely . " Ryan said .
Ammie broke the hug , and said , " I ..I didn't mean ..."
" Then we're at the fault . ", Shawn cuts her off , " And we should make it up ."
"Right . So what's the plan ?" Ryan asked .
" Let's go for a midnight walk . "
" With Chocolate ice cream, right ? " Ryan said excitedly .
Shawn smiled and nodded .

Shawn , Ryan and Ammie were walking side by side . Ryan and Shawn were on the each side locking their arms with hers . Ammie missed this a lot . They used to take her for midnight walks often , she always asked for ice creams , they used to lecture her that its not good for health to have ice creams at that hour but eventually surrender to her . But it's been so long since they had taken a midnight walk . Shawn and Ryan were very busy that they didn't notice the distance growing between Ammie and them . She missed the feeling how they always used to hold her hands from both sides since she was a kid . And today , she was again very happy to be accompanied by her two most loving brothers who have always showered her with love and care . This night was going to be another memory in her collection .

Next Day Morning
Angel Base
There was pin drop silence in the main hall . Everyone was waiting for Brad to say something . When Brad and other Angels on that Orphanage mission , returned this morning it was clear from their looks that the mission didn't go well . Everyone was curious about what happened at that night . Now it's time for Brad to report everything to Joseph .
Joseph said , " It's already understandable that we failed . But I want every details of the incident . "
Brad nodded and started , " I have informers in certain areas of the town . This time , the informer was one of the members of the orphanage . When he informed me about the bloody notes , we had 3 days in our hands before the mentioned date in the notes . He asked me to do something about it . Since we didn't know what kind of incident would take place , the only thing that came to my mind was to secure the orphanage and the people of it . So I asked to send some people from here . When they arrived there, I discussed with them what to do . According to our plan, all of the Angels , except me , were outside . They were guarding every possible way through which the intruders can enter . As for inside , the children were gathered in a room with two members . Outside the room , were other three members and me . " Brad stopped a little and again continued , " It was around 11:49 when we heard some screaming from the room where the children were kept . We tried to open the door but it was locked from inside . I broke the door easily but what I saw inside the room , I never expected to see anything like that ." Everyone at the hall was waiting to know what would that be which surprised even Brad .
Brad continued , " The children were surrounded by bright red fire , the window of the room was burning , it was clear that the intruder entered through the window . The two members who were guarding the children were shaking in fear as a black hooded person was moving towards them . And the most dangerous thing was .... his palm was burning . He was producing the bright red fire . The rest of the events happened very quickly . Even before I could go near him he said something in very low voice , I couldn't hear it because of the cries of the children and other noises . Then the children were lifted up in the air and were taken towards the window . At that moment I tried to help those children but the hooded man blocked me . He didn't do anything to me but I couldn't do anything to him either , as if some unknown entity entirely bound me in its grasp . I couldn't move a single muscle . I was feeling very helpless , I couldn't do anything but watch those children passing through the window one by one . When all the children were gone , the man also left through the still burning window . After some moments I felt my tensed muscles finally loosening up . But , till then , everything was done . I came outside of the orphanage ,some Angels said what happened outside of the orphanage . I went to the side where the window was situated , through which that guy entered . The window was on the second ground of the orphanage . I allotted three Angels to guard that side , but I found all the three Angels unconscious on the ground . They were freezing . I think it'll be better if they say it themselves . "
Joseph nodded and said , " One of you tell us what happened to you guys . "
A person from the crowd came forward and said , " I will say it . I was one of the three people who were allotted at the side . We were guarding when two hooded men came in front of us . We were sure that they didn't come by coincidence as the whole community wanted to stay away from that orphanage for some time . And after seeing their completely black outfit we were kind of sure of their evil intentions . We tried wind power and water power to block them but our attacks didn't work on him , after that one of those hooded men came forward us and another one used wind power to reach the window . We weren't sure about what to do or who to focus and moreover our powers weren't working on them . After that , even before we call for help he swiftly wrapped us with water streams and the temperature of the water became colder with every passing second . I'm not exaggerating , I remembered witnessing that extremely cold sensation for six seconds . After that I don't remember anything ."
" What about the others who were guarding at other sides . Brad said that the children were passed through the window , after that those children must have been taken through some side . None of you saw them or anything else ? Do you have anything to say ?" , Joseph asked in very serious tone .
Another one from the Angels raised his hand and said , " One of us went to the side where three of them were guarding , " he points to the three who were guarding the mentioned window , " he found that they were unconscious and the window was burning , so he called us there and immediately after the screaming started from the room . It didn't take long when we saw the children were being passed with the help of wind , they were taken to a bush a little bit far from us . So we chased those children there . And .... there were many people , at least they looked like humans . They took one or two children on their shoulders and started running . It is pointless to mention that they were incredibly fast . So even though we chased after them , after some seconds they were out of our sights . That's it ."
" So vampires and people like us have shaken hands ! " Joseph said .
" You are a little bit wrong . In every way , they are not like us . They are far more powerful than us . They can use spirit powers to the fullest . And most importantly , one of them has even taken up the most powerful spirit , the fire spirit . I've never seen anyone so far who has succeeded to control fire spirit . " Brad said .
" I noticed that . That's really something we should be careful about . And there is no doubt that those men were Dark Souls . " Joseph said .
" Right , other than us they are the only ones who train to control spirits . "
" But why they took those children ? I hope it's not what I'm thinking about . "
" Unfortunately , that's the most probable reason . " Brad replied .
Someone from the crowd asked " What's the reason ? What will they do with those children ? "
" SACRIFICE . "
