" Were you saying something ? " Enilese asked .
" I said , are you done daydreaming ? "
Enilese blushed and said , " I ..I wasn't daydreaming . I was just thinking about something . "
" Then I hope you've thought enough . Now tell me , what did you want to say ? "
Enilese looks directly into Shawn's eyes and said nervously , " Umm ... Shawn , if I say I don't have anything in particular to say , how would you react ? "
Shawn frowned slightly and found Enilese still staring at him . He said , " Then you must have some reasons to act like that ? Tell me your reasons then , or there's no reason either ? " He smiled a little and continued , " Have you fallen for me or something ? "
A small silence .
" And what if I say yes ? " Enilese asked in the same tone as Shawn's .
" I mean seriously ? How old are you falling for someone this easily ? " Shawn asked in disbelief . He really wasn't ready for this .
" Well , it's not like that . It's not that I'm infatuated . Falling for you would be something that I want wholeheartedly ." she slowly said .
Shawn remained silent so she continued , " I really want to know you more . I want to spend time with you . I've never felt this restless to meet someone before . If you ask me why I'm feeling this way or why I'm getting attracted to you , I really can't explain . There is really nothing much that happened between us , still I can't stop myself from thinking about you. " , Enilese stopped after talking for so long .
Nobody spoke for some time . Enilese said after some time , " Can you please say something ? "
Shawn said , " Okay , I heard what you had to say . So , what exactly do you want now ? "
" Look , I am very straightforward . So I won't beat around the bush . Like I said , I want to spend time with you , know you more , so in other words I want to date you . But of course it's not up to my individual decision . "
" I've told you so many times about my job . I'm not a wise choice for dating . "
Hearing his words Enilese remembered her conversation with Pierce a few days back .

" Pierce , don't we deal with the people who are harmful for others ? "
" Which people are you talking about ? "
" Like assassin or gangster type of people who can harm others even without super powers . Do we confront them too ?"
" No , actually whatever the gangs do , they do it within their circle . So even if they're causing harm to others , the 'other' is from their own or rival's gang . We don't meddle in their business neither do they . I honestly feel they are far better than our enemies , the dark souls."

Enilese replied , " I never regret my decisions , irrespective of good or bad consequences of those decisions . I always listen to my heart . So that I won't have to ever think like I should've done that , should've gone there and so on . " , After some moments she continued , " Actually I didn't plan to say all these things , I just wanted to have coffee with you . But things got out of control . "
" Should I order more coffee for you . You must be thirsty after speaking this much . " , Shawn said without much emotion .
Enilese said , " Seriously ! what I'm saying and what you're replying ! "
" Oh , so you want my answer . Enilese , have you ever considered the possibility of me already having a girlfriend ? If I say , I have one , how would you react ? " , Shawn asked with an amused smile .
Enilese was clearly upset . She said , " I really didn't think about that . Actually the way you always speak ' stay away from me , I'm bad , keep distance ' and so on I thought you say it to everyone . But if you really have a girlfriend then it's my bad . I don't want to be a third party so I should stop bothering you . " , she let out a small sigh . Shawn couldn't help but chuckle a little .
Some times later , he said , " Well , I don't have any girlfriend . And I don't have any problem to date you either . "
" Really ? ", she was surprised .
" When someone is completely ready to be with me in spite of several warnings why should I hold back ? "
" Well , I wanted to date you because I feel different with you . But I don't want to force you either . So don't say yes because of my insistence . And .....we can always break up if things don't go well between us ." , she said the last part with slight displeasure .
" Then I should add something to my statement as well . " , Shawn said , " I appreciate your initiative but I must tell you about my perspective as well . I've never met someone like you , someone so lively , someone who can enjoy life in every possible way . It's definitely not forcing , it would be my pleasure to date you . "
" Wow you can be this sweet , I didn't know .."
She got cut off by Shawn , " But I have one condition ........ You would never interfere in my job . "
She thought for some time and then nodded .
" Then all is good . "
They talked for some time , then Enilese got a sms from Selina stating that she was waiting for her .
" Ok , I have to go now , my friend is waiting for me ." At that time Shawn got a sms . After checking the sms he said , " I would have accompanied you but I've something to do . "
" It's okay , let's exchange numbers . "
They exchanged numbers .
" Okay bye , see you . " , she said happily .
" Be safe ." he said .

After Enilese left , two people entered the coffeeshop and come to where Shawn was waiting . They settled down .
Ryan said , " Shawn , you took too much time . Why didn't you come ? We were waiting for you . "
" Something came up . "
The another person said , " Yeah , isn't that obvious when you leave with a girl . Hey , you should've told me , that was your girlfriend, I won't have flirted with her then . "
Ryan was confused , he looked at Shawn and Shawn glared at the other person . He said ," If you are done , should we focus on our work , Adrian . "
