Chapter 8 - CHAPTER 7: THE CLASSROOM "D"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." Neil screamed, which echoed

"YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS." Sandy jumped in joy for he has found..... Found.... His dream world.

The classroom D was nothing but a noisy, swag class. The direct opposite of Neil's expectations..... And the noise almost consumed his hearing pad, that even if there's a deaf person walking past the class. He or she would testify that this is one hell of a noisy class.. No wonder the classroom was built with a strong heavy mortar so the noise would not be heard. Although there are air conditions working in the classroom, the classroom was still on fire..... The temperature might be 80°, heat signature at that point would make a mundane suffocate, because some how; something which is impossible is happening. Neil was losing breath...

"Yo gang.... What's up?" Sandy yelled but received no response because everyone was busy with their meaningless activity

A boy and a girl were playing cards and arguing, another sat close to them holding a flower and it's a girl.. Wait a boy in the midst of two girls?..... Weird... Three girls sat at the middle of the class, two from the train station that Neil had met last week; and another who had a hard face, began to play with toys, another weirdos. A boy, well dressed and looking smart with his specks on. Was holding his book, in the midst of another well dressed boy argument on the law of physics.. A girl with an unforgiving face sat on her own painting her nail with cortex, Wow... Super awkward. And the worse scenario ever, that Neil has ever seen is a young innocent-looking boy being zapped at the front row by a hot model-looking girl..... Continuously.

"I told you to get me a better style and you brought me this old fashioned magazines." The girl howled at him. "Answer me. You want to ruin my perfect plan of beauty by getting me old ladies style?"

That would be impossible because the boy is out of breath and could barely talk, let's not forget the zapping.. Neil looked closely at the magazines, they were the latest versions of classic bikini dress code.... Neil held his nose, bleeding at that kind of magazine was his problem. He always bled whenever he sees one, and never went to the beach because of his little blood-raining nose..... Making him look like a pervert.

Sandy without hesitation joined the guys playing cards. Picking his own set of cards

"The name's Sandy and thats my good friend Neil, he over there. And nice to meet you all... Let's play." He laughed

"You got to be careful because that guy is a cheat." The one with a headset on her head replied pointing towards his opponent.

"And why are you calling me a cheat?" The opponent rebuked

"We meet again ehh." Sandy turned to the one on headset

"Have we met before?" He asked looking not confused

"Yes.... And by the way where's your violin?" Sandy asked getting angry.

"Ahh...." The girl sighed "This flower is so flavored with nectar."

"Is she ok?" Sandy asked

The other stared at Sandy and laughed

"What?" Sandy asked looking confused

"I told you guys, did I not?" The girl said

"Dude." The one on headset spoke with laughter "he's a boy."

Those word rang in both Neil and Sandy's head like a church bell and it echoed continuously in their head... "Dude..... He's a boy."

"So is he." The opponent pointed towards the one on headset

Another boy.... What the hell is going on around here, why are they looking like girls? And the worse part they are dressing in trousers meant for girls.... This class is weird.

Just then Neil felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned slowly to see who it was. Praying that it won't be the teacher... But....

"Good to see you again." Jade smiled

"You? With the violin...? But." Neil spoke out of control. She's different now, like really different. She's hot and beautiful now, well he almost had another blood rain... Super awesome, now he's going be called "the guy who always bleeds when he sees a girl". That's pervertry. Fantastic, but how come there are two of them. Or is this some sort of illusion from her violin, but she appeared not to be on the strings.... Weird.

"The name's Jade.... And I guess you have met my twin brother." She pointed the one on headset

"His name is Jaden..." she finished

"No wonder he was calm, and confused when he was looking at Sandy." He thought "she's has a twin... And it's a boy."

"See you around then..." She left to her chair and sat down. "And I would do the same if I were you."

Neil went over to a front row and sat before the window... Staring outside and becoming jealous of the silence outside.... Wishing all these blood-sucking-deafening-noise will just end. He brought out his book and began to read, noise..... He brought out his phone and put on the earphone..... Still noise..

He tried not to use his powers so he doesn't go mad out of excess effort. So this is going to be problem, and if nothing is done... If nothing is done... He would become deaf.

The class suddenly fell under a trance of hushness, a little quack at the door made the Impossible to happen. Hallelujah... Like they saw an angel or a terror right in front of them, and if they try to make any sound would be their end. Actually them; but not sandy whose voice is still heard. Neil, who's ears has fully recovered kept hearing a siren pitch which keeps going on and on and on.... He opened his eyes to see what made the class silent, indeed it was a terror and forget about the angel aspect... Because this terror is no angel at all, not even close. This terror is the "voodoo of death". Delia gently closed the door with the same expression on her face, blank-emotionless face. Pale like death wraith, she looked like a wraith on a mission to steal a soul but the only problem is... She has flesh, a fleshy wraith. Indeed she is the voodoo of death.

She had few books under her arm and a blue backpack on her back. Her uniform wasn't ironed but icly pressed that the lines of which it was pressed was seen, and fingers could be removed if it mistakenly slid past them. She gently sat down on her seat and placed the book gently on the table.... The same table that was dusty when Neil came in, was sparkling now, reflecting the ray from the sun..... Guess somebody did the honours of cleaning it up before she sat down, cause it would rain heavily on them. Turning the classroom into polar part of the world.... Filled with snow men on uniform when it's not even Christmas....

The only noise heard are the breath of everyone in the class, the drizzling noise of a fly in the class, and the last is a mammal.... Sandy.

Neil decided not to telepath Sandy to remain calm, or else that would spark nothing but trouble. Delia lifted her finger and pointed it to the fly without looking at it, and it seems to be aware that the voodoo of death was present. It kept quiet. Mysterious... She placed her hand on the book, opened it and lifted the book towards her face in concentration.....

Although Sandy couldn't maintain a minute of silence, even though nobody died.

"Gang, why the silence? Let's play more cards." He spoke with confidence

"Hush now for a second men...." Neil thought

Sandy began to shuffle the cards, making some drastic noise in the process.

"Him again....." She thought.

The staring contest began between the two of them, it's like two hungry lions staring at each other before embarking on a fight.... Neil sensed trouble, big trouble.... He has to be observant before anything gets out of hand.

"It's a good thing we met again... Cause our match is unsettled." Sandy grinned

"His very appearance disguise me." Delia turned her head towards her book.

"Good thing there was not a clash amongst them." Neil sighed "I have not the strength to separate a big fight."

Neil's eyes suddenly activated on it's own

"What?" He thought "Why is it activating, and why on it's own."

Neil's vision. Expanded around the room. He could sense everyone's energies and auras. Delia's own was intense now, like she was about to use her gift on someone....His guess was Sandy.

Neil with the help of his vision spotted an empty chair not far away from him. He fixed his vision on Delia, because he knew she was up to something.

"I guess I have to end him once and for all.." Delia thought. She turned swiftly, directing her vision on Sandy "FREEZING SNOW DUST." She whispered..

Dust-like particles but with the color of snow moved swiftly toward Sandy, before he could sense it. Sandy turned and saw the particles fast approaching and was very close to him.... Real close. Then the impact happened and mist filled the atmosphere where Sandy was.

"You want to fight me again.... Now you've pissed me off." Sandy said but this time he was behind Neil. The mist surrounding Sandy's previous position faded away, then everyone saw that Sandy was replaced by a chair. The same chair close to Neil.

"I knew he would interfere." Delia whispered, turning towards Neil and meeting his gaze. "He activated his powers, before I did mine.... This kid is fast."

"I see.... She wanted to settle their unfinished business." Neil thought "But..." Neil looked at his hand as they were shaking uncontrollably "shouldn't that be me?"

"Now i'm mad." Sandy snared, he conjured his lightning card and was about to leap into the air

"I wouldn't do that Sandy if I were you." Neil warned "You just have to let go."

"She Just tried to annihilate me." Sandy barked

"The more reason you should let the sleeping dog lie." Neil closed his eyes..... It was burning like there was fire inside it, he placed his hand on his eyes and tried to bear the pain. He is not hearing his name this time but this pain... This pain..... Is it because of he powers he just displayed that its wearing him out.

"Do you think you are a match for me?" Delia stood up gently

"Ehhhh?" Sandy moved real fast towards her "I can't hear what you're saying. You talk like there's a rope tied around your neck." Sandy burst into laughter.

"And you think that is funny?" Was the reply

"You say what?" Sandy barked

Both of them were in another staring contest..... Now this is getting out of hand. Neil looked at the whole class as he saw the nervousness of everyone, it looks like they don't cross path with Delia at all..... He smiled a bit bending his head towards the ground.

"Ok.... Now that's enough you two." Neil walked towards them still smiling. "You both don't want to do this.... Do you?"

Delia looked at Neil with the same cold expression, as he walked towards them with his hand in his pocket. She knew that Neil would be different..... But why?

"Sandy." Neil telepathed "remember what we said when we were in our room?"

Sandy turned and stared at Neil, if it wasn't for Neil. He would have become a statue of crystal.... And he saved him again from becoming a corpse that froze in the snow land, naked.

"I don't know why you guys are still mad at each other." Neil tilted his head to the right. "You two were perfect dancers, you know."

"What." "Dancers." Filled the classroom, although in a whisper but one can make out what they were saying.
