Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1: SERIOUSLY "UNCLE"

It was another bright day in a country called "CAPITAL". There was a festival coming up in two weeks and all the atmosphere seemed a bit charged up as people hurried about their daily duties with enthusiasm, most of them anticipating a well earned break. The train stops were filled with people, shopping bags seemed to almost be a motif.

A young girl of about 10years of age holding a stuffed teddy wandered around aimlessly in one of these stops, her eyes flitting from one point to another as if searching for something, or someone. She kept looking about wandering, bumping into others in the overcrowded stop.

Taking advantage of her shorter height she kept pushing other people out of the way, her expression growing more and more frantic by the second.

"Hey" The girl looked back at the person who was adressing her. The person was a boy of about 16 years of age, with slightly pale skin and blonde gold hair. He wore a blue formal suit and dark blue jeans. His eyes seemed to glowing faintly behind his glasses, like little orbs of fire.

Gifted.. She thought. Pah...

He hunched over until he was almost the same height as the little girl. Although they stood still in that crowded area, nobody bumped into them. Everyone just instinctively went around them like they were invisible, only some giving them a curious glance before continuing on their journey.

"Little one, what's your name? Are you lost?"

The girl felt as if the boy in front of her was radiating a pressurizing force. Every time he opened his mouth, that force would flow out from him, emptying her mind of everything else but the impulse to do what he wanted her to. It felt as if he was trying to control her actions by subtly suggesting to her mind. Great ability... But she was not to be underestimated. The little girl matched the boy's stare, her eyes glowing gold green for a split second before returning to normal.

"What makes you think i will tell you that, Uncle?"

The gold haired boy was taken aback "Me? Uncle?" He asked pointing to his face.

"Yes, you. You look like a perverted uncle who is very experienced in luring little girls to dark alleys." The girl retorted mercilessly.

"Leave me alone or I will scream for help!!"

"Hey, Hey, calm down" He said.

His expression becoming frantic. He had never been in a similar situation before so he had no idea how deal with it.

"I just want to help you." he said trying to make His voice as gentle as possible. "Look" he leaned a bit closer, making the kid flinch as she tried to get the stuffed teddy between both their bodies "Just tell me where your parents are, so i can take you to them, okay?"

The little girl opened her mouth probably about to say some colourfull words about him, when suddenly a warm hand rested on her shoulder. A pink colored haired girl was suddenly behind her. Her face looked like it was cut from stone, perfectly chiseled with sharp features. Her expression though looked like she just came out from a love hotel, cheeks flushed with color and sweat beads dotting her forehead.

"Don't you think you are getting a little bit too close there , mister. She's a little bit tender if you're looking for a train stop quickie." The boy's face turned as red as the color of the new girl's backpack.

"No..no... I just.. Its an.." He stuttered

"Hahaha.." Both girls burst out laughing increasing his embarrassed state further. "Uncle, you stammer like my grandpa" The little one stopped for just a second to say that before covering her mouth in another fit of laughter.

"Let's get going, you little minx before we miss our train." The pink haired girl told her, her face growing a bit serious now.

"Oh.., you're no fun. I spent most of my time looking for you, you know. At least let me play with the cute uncle first"

"No... You know we don't want to be late. Miss wade will be coming back today" The little girl's expression turned glum. A faint black wind seemed to gather about the girl, the intensity increasing with her worsening mood. This seemed to agitate the pink haired girl. The blonde boy seemed to sense an evil aura gathering about the little girl, about to coalesce into something.

"Hey, don't be so glum. Freda waiting at the train with our tickets." That seemed to cheer the girl up a bit.

"Really?"

"Yes, I pinky swear. She's so excited to see you"

"Where's she. Let's go. Let's go meet Freddie" She clapped and jumped about, her previous glum expression nowhere to be found. Even the dark aura was gone with the wind.

"Alright, alright" the pink haired girl said. She turned to the boy who stayed with them all this while, watching the scene unfold. "What's your name?"

"His name is uncle. Can we go now?"

The pink haired girl chuckled, the sound tingling in the wind like small bells. She winked at him, the result being a fresh surge of heat to the boy's cheeks. "Oh.. Aren't you cute. We will meet again if we're destined to. Lets go, Chiho"

"Bye bye, Uncle" Chiho said, waving at him before walking away with the pink haired girl, their figures merging with the crowd in no time. The boy still stood there, his hand raised in an attempt to wave back. His watch beeped just then, breaking him from his semi frozen state. He looked at it, his eyes soon growing wide.

"Shoot, I'm gonna miss my train"....

The blonde boy got to the train, got in and sat down.. Staring from the glass as it moved slowly.. It's hard for him because he is leaving home for the first time to a new school, that sounded great but got sad too when he thought about someone special. His beloved little sister who was his only friend and fun.

"I guess I will be seeing you only at holidays Nara." He murmured.

Now the trains speed gas increased, he watched the building getting smaller and smaller until it was gone, he reached into his back and brought out a little present which had a note

"SEE YOU SOON NEIL.. I HOPE YOU WILL LIKE THIS PRESENT..... FROM YOUR LOVING CUPCAKE.... NARA"

He smiled and gently tore the package open and saw a book.... Another volume from his favorite author. A single drop seemed to gather at the corner of his eyes and a strand of it fell down his cheek.

Like it? I will cherish it forever"....
