The Moon Goddess giggled, there were musical notes in it. "No child, Werewolves are a whole different bloodline. Leto's line was the orginial. Human's confused the lines and blended them together. Perhaps part of the reason Leto's line has stayed hidden." She stopped to turn to me. "Let me do this a bit quicker, my time here must end soon." She motioned for me to step closer. "Your forehead to mine in a share of breath shall do the trick. This is an ancient greeting passed to many. Maori people still do this though they have forgotten its true use." With that jolt of electricity I had gotten from Lada was nothing compared to what I got from the Moon Goddess.
I was rocked back on my heels with the force of it. A sound smack had me on my arse. I was sitting on the ground infront of the Moon Goddess, staring up at her as she giggled! Way to go, grace yet again, epic grace fail number one. I thought shaking my head.
Mirth still in her voice, "Young one, even a demigod would have been knocked to their backside." The smirk gone from her lips, "what I have given to you will need to be told to your soul mate. He above all else will notice the changes given." She nodded to me turning to leave.
"I apologize for the lack of knowledge currently, but what changes?" I rose slowly and carefully.
Her silver luminous eyes turned back to me, "A smart question. I have given you the gift of change. Your own wolf I have awakened. She will guide you. I gave her a voice. As she will instruct you and help guide you. Remember your intuition is guided by our Mother, listen to it." This time she smiled a huge, exposing the fangs I had guessed about. "Perhaps when things are over I will tell you my tale." As she lifted up I heard the wolf howl. The mournful sound made a part of me feel like I had lost a loved one. I looked back and the blinding light met me.
The salt and pepper wolf stood before me. "You will have need of me in the future. My name is Shaman. Call for me I will come." He turned to go, "I will come three times for you. Make sure all other options have expired and you have no other hope."
I watched him bound into the darkness, "Thank you Shaman." I whispered. I knew somehow he would hear me. I looked around the forest, darkness still there. This forest I noticed was the large trees I seen in the forests near Sierra Mountians.
"Hello Accalia," Heard in my head. Though I still looked around.
"Hello?" I said out loud.
I heard laughter explode in my head, "I am in your mind dear one. No need to speak out loud. I can hear you just fine from your thoughts." There was a hearty chuckle "my name is Tala."
"Very nice to meet you Tala." I said in my mind. I looked around, the forest was getting warm rays of the sun. "How do we go about this?" I asked glancing at the rising sun in the distance of trees.
"We adapt," Tala said with a seriousness.
"Adapt?" The question heavy on my tongue when I opened my eyes to see the ceiling of my house. Along with the four walls and pictures of family long since gone.
"Yes adapt, is the very first lesson we must learn as a team." I heard her pause a moment. "But, also tell your soul mate what has happened."
