There was silence after Matt had told her that he would still like her even if she couldn't sing anymore. Sydney just stared blankly at him as she let him caress her face.
Matt was surprised when she also held onto that hand. Sydney pulled his palm closer to her mouth as if kissing it, and he blushed at what she did.
But suddenly…
BLUUUGHHHHH! BLUHHHHH! BLEERRRGHHHHH!
She vomited on his palm. Not once, but thrice!
"Oh shoot… Sydney… You're still the same, huh? Haha!" It was truly disgusting, but it made Matt laugh. He hadn't laughed that hard ever since he left Kasumi Province, and ever since he forced himself to accept rejection from the girl he liked.
Back then, Matt usually caught Sydney stealing a glance at him, and when she saw him looking at her, she would quickly turn her head somewhere. He smiled at those little, cute memories, which he never thought he would look back into again.
