'If they return, then they'll wake me up. if they don't, the alarm will naturally do it...'
Setting the alarm, he looked around making sure everything was taking care of before nodding to himself and thinking, 'Yup, all is done. Goodnight...'
. . .
*Ring*Ring*Ring*
*Ring*Ring*Ring*
An ear piercing ring resounded through that room, creating disturbing echoes and walking up the main character. Looking around half asleep, the main character saw no one, and so surmised that Lenny and the city lord must still be there... taking their sweet time.
'Then I guess I'll have to head back...'
Getting up and stretching, the main character felt the tension in his body go away, except for the one that was found in the right side of his hip and butt cheek. Shaking his leg before getting ready, he made his way up the stairs they had used to reach the underground room before standing face to face to what seemed like the back of the supposed painting.
'A bit Rocky if you ask me...' He thought, dragging his fingers along its rough and cold surface, before proceeding to knock at it.
A dense and stifled sound was heard, one that didn't even make it more than a few inches deep. Although that was a blunder, it did give him the general overview of the situation.
'So that painting wasn't a physical barrier but instead a gateway that leads to here... but that begs the question, how was the city lord planning on exiting once he has entered?'
Looking around where the entrance was, he observed all its curves and crevices, hoping to find some sort of Runic inscriptions. After five minutes of not finding anything, he let out a sight before returning back down to the white room.
'What to do, what to do...' He thought, trying to come up with a way to escape the room. *Is that a reference I see?*
His eyes landing on the array he had laid down earlier, a new thought spawned in his mind.
'Wait, earlier, I wasn't able to create a new array due to the fact that the existing array refused to not be used. So what happens if I create a new array now? After all, those two have already been sent...'
Putting his hypothesis to the test, the main character squeezed blood out of his already brutally treated index finger before laying down a rune. Having closed his eyes in anticipation, his curiosity got the better of him, making him part his eyelids ever so slightly; just enough for him to see that the rune was still where he had drew it.
'Fuck yea!!!!'
He celebrated, before continuing the new array.
Once he was finally done, the main character took out a medicinal pill from his spatial ring before taking it. Feeling the warmth that emanated from his belly, he let out a smile before getting comfortable on the ground. He was waiting for the medical Dan to recover the essence in his blood as he was going to need a large amount of it for the permanent activation of the Array.
After what seemed like an hour or two, the main character got up before heading towards the new array, ready to activate it.
Standing at its centre, he closed his eyes and connected with the essence found in his blood, influencing it into activating the array. Once the array was activated, the main character felt at least ¾ of his blood essence drain out of him into the array powering it to function in the way it was intended to, andnin turn, making him look like a dried up corpse.
'Now, not only can I return to the mansion, but I will also be notified when the original array is reactivated...'
With that last thought, the main character commanded the array to send him back to the mansion, disappearing in that same instant.
. . .
A magical formation appeared inside the main character's room, summoning the main character once it was done setting up.
'Ah, home sweet home...'
Just as he laid on his bed, a knock was heard from the door followed by the voice of a maid servant. "Young Master, dinner is ready..."
'Now that someone said it, lunch was so many hours ago...' Looking out through the window, he saw the skies had turned black, with sparse dots of light scattered across... must be because of light pollution.
Moving on from that, the main character sat up before telling the maid servate he would be right down.
'I need to fix this body of mine first...'
. . .
This was his third attempt at getting a backer, and it had been successful. Back inside his personal air craft, the Prince sat on his chair, his butler sitting across him.
"With this three backers, taking first place is much more than a pipe dream, its almost within reach..."
The Prince looked at his butler, eyes as cold as ever, "That may be true but we cannot celebrate just yet. Fate is a wondrous thing, and anything could happen."
The butler waved his hand to the side as he said, "Aw come on, what's the worst that can happen?"
Just as he said that, a loud bang was heard, shaking the air craft and its occupants. Dishevelled, the butler got out of his seat and into the control room where he stopped the aircraft once he was an aircraft in the distance.
Shortly after, the Prince joined his butler inside the control room, observing the aircraft with a keen perception.
The aircraft floated their without anything happening but soon opened it's doors. And from it, a blond haired young man walked out. *[Author]: Yes, I know their still in the air, I'm just writing what I see.*
The man walked in front of his aircraft with a sly smile on his face.
"I haven't seen seventh brother in a while, how's everything going?"
His voice was neither too loud nor too heavy, it was charming and inviting. But the Seventh Prince knew better!
"Why have you attacked me elder brother?"
