Chapter 105 - Breaking Through

"I haven't seen seventh brother in a while, how's everything going?"

His voice was neither too loud nor too heavy, it was charming and inviting. But the Seventh Prince knew better!

"Why have you attacked me, elder brother?"

The third Prince let out a laugh, "You were going too fast, I had to get your attention some how..."

'This bastard, he's up to something...' Prince Amon thought. He wasn't going to let his guard down even for a second. His expression turning colder he asked, "What do you want?"

The Third Prince was saddened by his little brothers cold attitude.

"May, you never changes do you... Cold to your own brother, what a ruthless king you would make..."

His lips curling as he reached the latter parts.

'Where is he getting at...' The Third Prince's word were masked but were quite unsettling. Was he hinting at the Prince Amon's ambitions by claiming he would be a ruthless king? Or was he just trying to draw him out?

"Cut the chitchat, Zelk. Get to your point or be on your way..."

Prince Zelk let out a smile. Like a trickster in the dark. In the bosoms of despair, he hissed.

"I've noticed that you have increased travel activity. Going to different provinces and speaking with their rulers... could you be possibly considering yourself as a candidate for the throne race?"

The Seventh Prince replied coldly, "Is it not my right?"

Prince Zelk was intrigued by that response as he continued, "Why, of course it is. It just seems out of character, you know..."

Prince Amon seemed annoyed by his supposed brother's antics as he said, "Yea, yea, if that's all then I'll be on my way." He then turned around , planning on going back inside his aircraft, when he suddenly felt a hand tapping his shoulder. His expression turning a degree colder, he slowly turned back, only to see the third Prince standing there with that devilish smirk on his face. The type that made one out to be an arrogant prick that thinks they are above anyone and everyone.

"I still have somethings I want to discuss with you, little brother. So be a dear and wait a little." His smirk widening.

Letting out a deep breath, Prince Amon calmed himself. Although he wanted to beat Zelk up, it wasn't his time to shine. Its was too early.

'I'll have my time... I'll have my time.' He thought before he turned towards Zelk asking, "Continue..."

. . .

Enjoying the dinner, the main character looked around the table, spotting a chair that didn't have no one in it. It obviously belonged to the city lord. "mom, Where's dad?" asked Astrid, making the main character feel a bit stressed.

"His busy doing work sweetheart..." The mother said, giving the main character a glance . After all he was the one that told her that the city lord had gone to take care of a few things, and that he didn't da when he was coming back... Was it an elaborate excuse? No. Did it give the main character time to come up with a better excuse.

Finishing up with their dinner, they all returned to their respected rooms , having called it a day.

. . .

*Next day*

Having taken the necessary rest, the main character woke up feeling energetic. It was as if today was gonna be a good day. Throwing away the blanket that main character jumped out of bed before stretching for a bit. He then washed his face in the basin before changing into his robe.

Just as [Author] was confused as to how he could flow the story along, the main character felt sudden fluctuation in the surrounding. The celestial energy found abundantly in the environment was slowly drawn away. Even the main character, who's sensitivity to energy had decreased, could notice.

'Is someone attempting a break through?'

Curious, he exited his room and followed to where the energy was flowing, surprisingly ending up at Yuno's door.

'Its her who's making a breakthrough???'

Although he wanted to enter, he knew that getting distracted in this particular situation will be detrimental to Yuno, so he opted for another option.

Biting into his finger for the millionth time, he drew a rune in the palm of his hand before squeezing out a drop of blood into his eyes, causing th3 whole of them to turn blood red. Activating the rune, he blinked his eyes a couple of times before it finally worked out. The door I front of I'm seemed to have turned into simple out lined allowing him to see through it with ease.

'She's really doing it!'
