'What's going on?' He though as he looked around, trying to make sense of the situation, when suddenly, he was yanked back through darkness, flying back at unimaginable speeds.
In that abyss, a bunch of scenes flashed, rewinding before the main character stopped. Returning back to when the trio were still in that multi-layered white underground space.
'Wtf just happened?!'
"Is something wrong?" The city lord asked having observed the main character's shocked expression.
"I think we returned?"
The city lord was obviously confused by this as he asked, "Returned? What are you talking about?"
"Returned from Cottonwood... Someone messed up and we were sent 700 back into the past... This isn't ringing any bells for you?" The duo shook their heads, they indeed didn't know. Instead, they were more occupied by what the main character had said,..
Watching him be in deep thought, Lenny turned towards the city lord before asking in a whisper, "Did he just say the array messed up and we got transported 700 years to the past?"
The city lord nodded in a confused manner saying, "There is no reason to take his words at face value. Maybe what he said and what he meant were two different things..."
That was a good point but it's applications seemed out of place in this particular context.
"How many meanings could, 'Someone messed up and we were sent 700 back into the past' have though?"
Lenny had brought up a good point.
Meanwhile, the main character stood there, for the first time ever, being able to create a chat interface of his own volition.

[BOB.C]: Although today is a grandiose day where I have become strong enough to create a chat interface of my own will, that has to take the back burners because there are things more important.
Issue number one, what the fuck just happened?! Why was I suddenly pulled back to this specific point in time, and also why don't the two remember what happened... I mean, I guess it was because I alone was pulled back through that abyss, that they don't remember; as I'm the only one who was displaced through time it makes perfect sense why they don't remember.
Now for the second issue, why this specific time... is this the exact point where the storyline deviated from what [PLOT] had written? I mean, I have no evidence to prove that it was him who had done this but simultaneously, he doesn't have best track record for this type of stuff.
...Are you guys gonna chime in or am I gonna keep talking to myself?

Considering that no one answered, the main character simply decided to hold that off for later. Turning to the duo having a hushed, he interrupted them saying,
"Sorry guy, let me go over the array one more time. There seems to be a problem..." The duo didn't object as safety was always of the utmost importance, especially when dealing with the likes of time travel. Giving the main character some distance they allowed him to inspect the array.
'Wtf is this?!?!?! How could there be adjustments of such magnitude without anyone of us noticing??? When could it have even happened???'
Thinking back, the only time he wasn't paying attention to the array was when they were eating... 'It must've been then that it happened... But my question is, what bastard would do this?'
He looked suspiciously at the duo considering the possibility that it may have been one of them but later shook his head. 'There is no way they could have made this much notifications without me noticing. Also there is no way they would have the level of knowledge required to modify my array...'
Although he didn't know who did it, he knew that they had an in depth and ancient knowledge of array formations and runes. The only problem was, that was the only lead he had to go off of.
'Since everything's okay now, I supposed I can let it slide...' Thinking that, he finally got around to making adjustments but was left at a loss for words when the adjustments he made were quickly reversed. It was if the array itself was resisting the change, insisting to stay as the other entity had left it.
As he couldn't even use his Atlas anymore, forcing the change was out of the question.
'The fuck do I do then? I'm not going back 700 years just because some jack ass made it like that...'
Deciding to construct a whole new array, the main character was about to move when one piece of the array caught his eye. '
Paradox? Tf is this?!'
