"I came because I have seen an important vision, one regarding the attacks that has been made on the city earlier today..."
The city lord's eyes narrowed, staring intently at the main character. "Come in," he said, inviting the main character into his office. Walking inside and taking a seat, the main character continued, "You are a busy man so I'll get straight to the point, in my vision I saw four dark purple, almost black orbs of destruction. Three of them had been stopped by you and your forces, the fourth one however, was stopped by a sinister power. Although I didn't see who had actually done it, I saw where they had done it. A two story complex located next to another 2 story building with a sign that says 'Free care, free ware.' Although I'm not certain, there might be an underground basement where they conduct their nefarious activities..."
The city lord stayed quite, mulling over what the main character had said. 'Vision huh... what he says seem to check out as me and my forces did indeed stop a chaos bead. On the other hand, Free care, free ware... Where have I heard that before?'
The answer eluding him, he turned to his communicator which also acted as a search engine, asking it, " Bring up all establishments in the city with a banner or sign that says, 'free care, free ware' with a two story building on their side..." As soon as he finished, a holographic, 3D blue print of the whole of Earthmire city appeared, with three structures colored red, making them eye-catching between all the blue.
"Bring them up along with the structures directly to their sides," The communicator did as he said, bringing up all three 'free care, free ware' buildings along with the buildings on their sides. With another verbal command, each of the buildings details were laid out for him to observe. Skimming through their info, the city lord lightly formulated a plan of action.
'Their all locate in different parts of the city and all are around populated areas, making it difficult for a direct raid. In that case we have to do it before they could get a chance to retaliate... We also have to take into an account that only one of them may be related to this incident... hmmm'
Turning to the main character, he asked, "Do you recognise which building it was?" if he were able to point out which one it was then things would get significantly more easier. Unfortunately though, the main character hadn't recognised any of them, prompting the city lord silently think of various ways of advancement.
Finding discomfort in the silence, the main character proposed an alliance, one where the city lord would receive the help of Han Sen and the main character himself.
"I don't think that would be appropriate. You are guests after all, one highly favoured by the Nine Dragon Sect at that, I'm afraid if you were to be harmed the Price family wouldn't have an easy life any more... Besides, that would make me a bad host."
Letting out a laugh, the main character thought, 'If only you knew I single handedly destroyed the Nine Dragon Sect, how would you react! AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!' That of course, was a delusional lie as he had merely assisted in the taking down of Sect leader Lei, while Han Sen was the one who had wreaked the most havoc.
Trying to reassure him, he proposed another option, "Although I understand your worries, I must disagree, you see, in all actuality, I am an Array Master," the city lord's eyes went wide, "Easily capable of constructing any array, whilst Han Sen is one of the most powerful Inner Sect disciples. I'm telling you this because I need you to understand how much of an advantage you will have if you were to employ out expertise. Nevertheless, I will respect your decision no matter what..."
'What's with this kid?' thought the city lord, confused as to why the main character wanted to get involved, but at the same time, he did make a point. It would be quite foolish of him to turn back a high level cultivator and an Array Master, especially when Earthmire was in such a time of need. 'If worse come to worse and one of them die, I could just shift the blame and say that Bao Obi had used the Sect Master's identification token to force me into getting involved...'
With a solid alibi in case things go wrong, the city lord now had no reason to reject the main character's offer.
"In that case, I sincerely thank you for your helping hand. I'll call you over when we officially start formulating a plan of attack..."
With that as a cue, the main character nodded his head before standing up and leaving the room. The city lord saw him out with his eyes as he thought in amusement, "A sixteen year old Array Master who also sees visions, how intriguing...'
