Chapter 85 - Sealed

Han Sen, in a bid to pass the time in a useful manner, had decided to cultivate. Immersing himself into the art, an unknown amount of time passed before, he was woken up by some movement inside the room. Opining his eyes, he was able to see his Master stretching, having woken up from that trance-like state.

He tried to call out but his voice seemed to have gotten stuck in his throat, resisting his will, as if it's a bite of food you hadn't chewed properly. The hair on his head waved in a tyrannical manner and goosebumps spread across his being, as his eyes fell upon what he considered divinity in human form.

Having consumed the crystal, the main character hadn't sensed any abnormalities back in the After Realm, but once he was out in the real world, he saw it. A dense, torrential aura that blazed around his body, excluding the overbearing weight of an entire realm!

'An opportunity always comes hand in hand with consequences, I only wished I could hide this aura myself but it can't be helped, I'll have to use the Atlas. The only problem with that is the fact that it cant exist both in a spiritual form and a physical form, and since my goal is to seal up my Godly essence, I won't have access to it willy-nilly. Quite problematic considering how that's my 'end all be all' move... Aayaayayy, problematic indeed...'

He planned on ignoring this issue till it became a necessity, but thought against that once he saw his disciple laying on the ground with only a sliver of his consciousness left as blood leaked from his mouth, nose, and ears. His eyelids fluttering, resisting the urge to seal shut.

'Agh, I'll just figure it out later.'

With that he summoned the Atlas before commanding the sword to fly into his chest, allowing it entry to his soul. With no hesitation the sword flew towards his chest area, entering through causing only an innocent ripple. Having watched that happen, the main character let out a sly smirk, remaining him of a similar situation.

'Of course, back then it actually killed me...', referring to the time when the mc was stabbed and killed by the Atlas, under the influence of the Accidental God.

'Ah, those were the good old days...'

. . .

A golden, rhombus shaped crystal with concaving edges could be seen floating in the empty space, encased in a swirling golden, majestic liquid; "God essence.", [Cameraman] concluded, shedding light on his current whereabouts.

The crystal emanated a dense aura that stifled the surrounding. It's effect reaching far and wide, pushing away any celestial bodies in its vicinity into the distance. The speeds at which the golden liquid swirled was so ferocious that small, tiny pieces of the crystal would randomly chip off, dissolving into a golden liquid that casually circulated around the Orb; more Godly essence...

[Cameraman] seeing all this was amazed at how much energy was packed into that single crystal, but beyond that, he was confused. 'Where's the Atlas? Isn't it supposed to be here?'

But that was when he senses something in the distance. Panning out with his camera, the scene before [Cameraman] grew distant, shrinking away to reveal a small solar system before introducing other stars and planets. Although that was surprising and unexpected, it did not stop there!

It kept going.

Zooming out, a galaxy came into form before countless like it were seen, further accompanied by larger cosmic constructs; finally stopping at the edge of the universe. It seemed small for the viewer, hiding its magnitude behind a bunch of shining lights. Seeing as how everything was laid before him, [Cameraman] zoomed out one more time, revealing a ginormous Atlas, stoically hovering behind it.

The universe looking like a dwarf next to it, it towered over with nor reservations, casting an invisible, yet inescapable shadow over it. Sudden illumination being found in the shining runes on the scabbard, mythical chains came forth from it, creeping their way around the melon sized universe, like tentacles around their pray. Once the chains thoroughly wrapped around the universe, the spillage of aura was finally contained.

. . .

Sensing that the aura spillage was finally halted, the main character was finally able to get close to his disciple, slapping him on the face a couple of times, managing to drag out a bit more consciousness before Han Sen fainted.

'For fuck's sake!'

Pointing his finger at his disciples head, he commanded a bit of his Godly essence to eject and heal Han Sen, but that did not come to pass. Wait... a dreaded thought appeared in his mind causing his eyes to widen at the idea.

'Could it be that the Atlas also sealed away my Godly Essence?'

Thinking back though, of course it was seal away together with the crystal. He was using his essence to shave away to the damn crystal!!!!!

'What a fuck up...'

He really had no idea that things would progress like this. Rolling back his eyes, he resigned himself to his powerlessness and resorted to summoning back the Atlas, his thought process being, 'I'll just unseal it, then seal it back... easy.'

Now, imagine his shock when the Atlas refused his summons.

'What's going on???'

His heartbeat slowly rising, nervous at what the worst case scenario might be. He repeatedly called out to the Atlas, but alas, his efforts bore no fruit.

He tried to calm down but his breathing had hastened long ago, his body heating up as his face slowly turned red. Taking a deep breath in, the main character managed to calm his nerves down by a small degree before slowly walking towards the bed. Picking up a soft and fluffy pillow, he took a deep breath before pushing it against his face as hard as he could, letting out a heart wrenching scream into the cotton depth of the pillow.

He persisted with this strange act for more than a full minute, only taking breaks in-between to catch his breath.

He had lost his cool, and understandably so. What had happened to him was akin to a gambler who had won a million dollars before losing it all in his very next gamble. Or, a car enthusiast who bought his dream car only to wreak it in an accident the very next day. It was a gut wrenching pain that made most give up. Although unlike the aforementioned examples, the main character didn't actually lose it forever, he only had to wait till the entirety of the crystal had been absorbed.

'I can't believe I have to wait a whole week! A WHOLE FUCKING WEEK!!! That basically placing a handicap on myself!! For fuck's sake, and just when I started thinking that I may have some luck left in me...'

Placing the pillow back down, the main character wiped his face of wrinkles and little bits of saliva before taking out a bottle of medical Dans. Taking out two pills each, he force fed them both to his disciple and the crazed woman they has brought in, one who currently laid on the bed.

Unfortunately for her, she was the closest to the main character, causing her to suffer worse injuries, evident by the amount of visibly discoloured veins that decorated her body, and blood that leaked from her mouth, ears, and nose.

'She's no going to die, is she?', he thought in worry. No matter how high levelled he was, no matter how nonchalantly he acted; they were all still his children... Plus, he couldn't stand the thought of killing the innocent. Killing the deserved was acceptable, but killing those who simply minded their business, those that weren't powerful enough to protect themselves was far from being okay. It was almost taboo!

Taking out two more Dans, he fed them to her before turning his attention back to his recovering disciple. Han Sen could be seen slowly regaining consciousness and clarity, his eyes opining ever so slowly, making him seem like a drunk. Impressed by how fast Han Sen was recovering, the main character thought,

'This guy really is a beast! To be able to experience the full weight of an entire realm and recover within mere minutes is simply monstrous. I might have actually gotten a pretty reliable person on my side. And all this is before any of my teachings, his potential is simply unheard of...'

Although, the medical Dans in cooperation with his internal energy had healed almost all of his injuries, the same could not be said for the pain. His entire body ached with his head sustaining the majority of the pain. An eerie throbbing sensation could be felt coming from it, the kind you get when you receive a powerful blow to the head.

Cradling it, he winced in pain before barely managing to open his eyes. Once his vision had returned, his eyes searched around the room before landing on the main character. Rolling onto his stomach, he painfully helped himself off the ground before asking, "Wtf was that?!!!", his voice stained with pain.

"It was as though a mountain fell upon me..." He continued.

Hearing the description put forth by Han Sen, the main character smirked in apprehension.

"That was by no means a mountain... that was an entire realm!"
